Comfortable and pristine in a great location
Our family of 4 adults stayed here for a week's vacation. Our priority was to be near West End venues and to be able to get around for sightseeing. This location was ideal because it's a 10-15 minute walk from all our shows, a 15 min walk to the British Museum, and a short walk to two different tube stations for everywhere else. There's a supermarket/grocery store nearby plus close convenience stores and restaurants. Noise from the city comes in sometimes (not any worse than other big cities), so if you're a sensitive sleeper, bring ear plugs. Check in went smoothly, and we were incredibly fortunate it was available early after an overnight flight. (Be sure you have internet for communication through the app en route.) We were even given a personal orientation. There's an elevator/lift to the 4th floor location which was great for getting suitcases in and out; the building is code-locked on the door to the street so we felt safe and private. Everything was absolutely *immaculate*, functioning, and the kitchen well outfitted. The beds are very comfortable, great shower, towels large and fluffy, luxury soaps, hair dryer, etc just like a hotel. It is an older building, so no outlets in the bathrooms, but we made good use of the laundry. Since our adult sons are 6 feet tall each, we set up the handy cot and spare bedding instead of them sharing a double bed. Communication with the host was quick and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
