新しく改装され、拡張されたオープンキッチンは、家の中心地です。 22人のダイニングルーム、湖を見渡すファミリールーム、ビリヤード台付きのリビングルームがキッチンを囲んでいます。 キッチンには、調理エリア、2つの食器洗い機付きのクリーニングエリア、サービングおよび朝食エリアがあります。

さらに、家には子供用のゲームルームもあります。 ピンポン、バスケットボールのフープゲーム、古い学校のコンソールなど。

We loved our stay. The property was unique and so much fun! There's lots to do and plenty of space to do it! The house has all the amenities you could ask for so you aren't missing things from home while you stay there and the pool and hot tub were definitely exactly what we were looking for. We only had a couple very minor issues during our stay and the team was more than helpful in getting them resolved ASAP and were so hopeful.

Stayed at Ivy Retreat for a bachelorette/ wine weekend. The property was beautiful, we made full use of the kayaks, pool, hot tub and fire pit. There were 14 of us that fit comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with anything you may need to cook and serve meals. 2 dishwashers made clean up easy. The house is centrally located between downtown and several wineries, it was 15 mins to either, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. We had a blast with a disco party in the octagon room and the loopppng dining room table was perfect for a mimosa brunch. We barely knew the caretaker was there and rarely saw her. Some of the showers are quite small, it was no issue for us but could see how it might impact others. Noting more for awareness not a complaint. Booking and communication were great throughout.

A fabulous property!

My family and I rented this as a home-base for my son’s wedding in Crozet. This house is huge and had so many amenities. It was perfect for us to host family members in the house, friends stopping by, and the bridal party for the rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch. There was plenty of room for everyone to eat, mingle, and enjoy! The pool table, ping-pong table, and air hockey table were a great addition and well utilized. The kitchen had everything we needed, as did the bathrooms and bedrooms. The geese and their tiny goslings captivated us all! The house was also good location, as it was partway between Charlottesville, where most wedding guests were staying, and the wedding venue. The property manager was friendly, attentive, and helped make the whole process easy. Everyone in my group said they’d like to stay there again!

Spectacular! Wonderful! Awesome to the Max

My 3 adult children, their partners and 5kids all had Easter break this past week. Originally, we planned to go further south but found this place just outside Charlottesville and were so pleased that we stayed here. My kids have stayed in some very nice places but it was the unanimous decision that this was the best home rental we’ve ever had. The hosts were very responsive, always ready to answer questions quickly and the house had everything we needed. We will definitely return. Thank you for being such great hosts. If I were rating this on a scale of 1-10 this would be a 12!

Amazing Wedding Weekend

Our daughter was getting married and we live out of town. We rented this gorgeous property to host our family, the bridesmaids and their dates. It was the best thing!!! The property is just as listed and the views are stunning!!! The property manager was super communicative and answered in a timely manner!! All our guests loved it and enjoyed staying there!!! It really made us feel like we were sharing our own home with them!! Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding weekend even more special!! Don’t hesitate to rent this property!!

New Years Famliy Wine Trip

The house and property are spectacular. We have stayed in many homes, in many locations and this one did not disappoint! The house was clean, well appointed and accurately described. The property is beautiful…even in the winter. We were concerned about having the house manager living on site, but as described, it was absolutely not a problem.

Great large group rental convenient to Charlottesville

We had a group of 11 stay there for a winery touring weekend and loved the house. Very easy to communicate with owner. Large beautiful private property with heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, gaming tables and pond. Great location close to Charlottesville. Plenty of space and areas for sitting, relaxing, sleeping and getting ready. Very well equipped kitchen. Some minor bug issues (ants, stink bugs and lady bug/beetles) and a few updates needed to some areas but overall a great find. Would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed Charlottesville property

Very enjoyable short stay with family friends at this well appointed property. All the appliances and amenities your large group could need. Pool, basketball court and lake were big hits with our teens.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Ivy Springs! The house is spacious, beautiful, and unique. The property is gorgeous and tucked away, yet still very accessible to Charlottesville. The house, kitchen, and bathrooms were well stocked with supplies and the beds were very comfortable. There is a lot to enjoy at the house from the pool, hot tub, outdoor space, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, basketball, kayaks, and lots of games and lounging spaces. The property manager was very kind and responsive to all of the feedback I gave her and was quick to accommodate our needs. Our only minor complaint was that there were a few areas of the house that didn’t feel as clean as we’d like it, including some stains on linens and older/stained bathroom fixtures. This did not detract from our stay at all and even though the house shows its age and has some quirks, we absolutely loved staying here. We would highly recommend Ivy Springs to anyone for a family getaway! All the kids ages 7 and up loved it there and our family agreed we would happily plan another trip to the property again!

We had a wonderful time staying here for my bachelorette party. The house was gorgeous, and was even better than the pictures! It was in a beautiful location close to downtown but far enough to really have your own space. We had a large group and everyone was comfortable—a huge bonus was the big dining room table for everyone to enjoy a meal together. The property manager and hosts were extremely flexible and accommodating and when I had a question about check out, they answered in a matter of minutes. Could not recommend more!

Great Stay

Was the perfect place to stay and enjoy the pool/bbq with friends. The fire pit by the pond was great for a hangout spot after dark. Great property would recommend.

Beautiful setting

The grounds of this house are amazingly beautiful - well manicured and lots of room to play. Deer walked by on a daily basis and the pond was great for fishing. And it was very quiet! While the house has a somewhat quirkly set-up, the beds were all comfortable and the items we needed were all there. There were just a few minor items that needed updating and fixed, but nothing that prevented us from having a nice time. The host was very quick to respond when we needed a few minor items. The only thing that bothered our group were the amount of bees that were in and beside the pool area. When we first arrived, they feasted on the hydrangea bushes poolside, but as the week went on, they decided we tasted better and a few of us got bit. If you are allergic to bees (thankfully none of us were!), then you might want to reconsider your stay (or go at a time when the bees aren't so busy.)

Great spot for large group

This property was the perfect spot for what we needed. My children and grandchildren, and I stayed there for two nights while we were in Charlottesville for my father’s funeral. The only drawback was that the pool is not heated and it was the first week of May, which, according to the description it should have been. Everything else about the beautiful property was great.

Great House

I recently stayed at this property and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. From the moment I booked the property to the moment I checked out, everything was seamless and easy. The outdoor area was also fantastic, with a beautiful pool and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. The location of the property was perfect - it was close to all the attractions I wanted to visit, but also secluded enough to provide a peaceful and relaxing escape. . The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive throughout my stay, answering any questions I had and making sure everything was taken care of. I really appreciated the level of customer service I received. Overall, my stay at this VRBO property was absolutely fantastic.

Great Family Weekend

The property is beautiful and the house is older than depicted. Still nice and we had a great time, but some TLC is needed to bring the house up to standards based on the price. (i.e. rickety spiral stair case, clogged sinks, oven replaced and covered with plastic) Also, there is a live in caretaker that we did not hear about until after booking.

Great for a large group

We enjoyed our stay - the hot tub and outdoor area are the stars of this property. Well-equipped and tons of space. Close to wineries and downtown Charlottsville. Highly recommend.

Thanksgiving at Ivy Springs Retreat

The grounds of Ivy Springs are exceptional and the house is very nice for a large group. We enjoyed the spacious dining room for our entire family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The kitchen is large and stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. While there is an elevator available, this property is not advertised as handicap accessible and an individual in a wheelchair would have a hard time utilizing the elevator or the downstairs bedrooms as door frames are a bit narrow. It would be beneficial to check measurements prior to booking.

Every guest that has booked for two days states that they wish they booked longer. We have tried to renovate the inside for the correct "flow". More space than you'll need for a big family, but a design that lends itself to breaking off into smaller conversations in the many "nooks". It starts with how each of the three main rooms flow from the kitchen. Rain or shine, young or old, you will not need to leave the property for entertainment. However, Charlottesville offers so many outdoor options, you have to try at least a few of them!
