荷物をまとめて、電源を切ってくつろぐ準備をしてください！ ベリーヒルレイクは、新しくモダンで錆びた4ベッドルーム/ 3です。広さ170エーカーの美しい森林に囲まれた2エーカーの私有湖を見下ろす5バスホーム。 この家は、伝統的なボードとバテンサイディング、オリジナルの石細工、全体に堅木張りの床、2つの暖炉、屋内ガス暖炉、屋外outdoor暖炉を備えています。 2階のベッドルームには、キングベッド、60インチのフラットスクリーンテレビ、ダブルシンクとタイル張りのシャワー付きの専用バスルームが備わっています。 メインフロアのベッドルームには、クイーンベッド、60インチのフラットスクリーンテレビ、ダブルシンクとタイル張りのシャワー付きの専用バスルームが備わっています。 下の階には、それぞれ2組の2段ベッドを備えた2つの2段部屋、タイル張りのシャワー付きのバスルーム、70インチのフラットスクリーンテレビを備えたリビングルームがあります。 ゲスト用のミニ冷蔵庫と洗濯機/乾燥機を備えた効率的なキッチンもあります。

20フィートのModPoolは湖を見下ろし、プール/ホットタブの組み合わせで、奥の端から透けて見える窓があります。 プールには、片側にクッション付きの長椅子が置かれた大きなパーゴラ、石造りのパティオ、側面にも椅子があり、反対側は素晴らしい景色を望む湖と山に面しています。 プールは年中無休で、温水です。

This is an absolutely magical property. Perfect for our family Thanksgiving with a wide range of ages from 3-83. We loved the hiking trails, hot tub, outdoor fire, beautiful views, and the feeling of peace and privacy. It is the best vacation property we have ever rented. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our party of 8 (grandma, 4 adults, 2 teens, 10yo and dog) stayed at this beautiful property for a week. It had everything we needed and wanted. The pool was gorgeous and perfect for the hot weather. Our fishing-obsessed teen spent lots of time at the pond. We hiked the trails and watched movies, and enjoyed the many fine eating and drinking establishments. This was the most well-equipped rental we have ever stayed at, and hope to visit again.

We always enjoy Berry Hill Lake. This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint. The upgrades to the pool and surrounding area are well done and add the enjoyment of the property. The fish are always biting and the private hiking trails always make for fun family adventures.
These guys are easy to catch on night crawlers or plastic lures.
We couldn’t land these monsters, but there are at least eight of them that swim within casting distance of the dock.

Beautiful property and location

Our family stayed at Berry Hill Lake over the New Years week. From the initial texts and emails from the property manager, to the check-in and the house and land itself, it was a great experience. The house and surrounding property are clearly cared for, and it was easy to just sit back and relax for a week! Highly recommend!

Great time in woods

Awesome home off the grid! We enjoyed the lake, hiking and hot tub. Kids loved the s’mores and fire place. Really enjoyed the beauty and being in nature. House had plenty of space.

It's even better than the pictures--truly a dream come true

All of the glowing reviews you see here are telling the truth--Berry Hill Lake is an absolute dream come true. I fell in love when I saw the photos in the listing, but in person, it's all infinitely more beautiful. The home itself is stunning and far more spacious than I imagined. And the land is so well tended and cared for, a sense of peace just exudes from it and permeates every moment at Berry Hill Lake. Everything in the home was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is abundantly stocked in terms of cooking needs (we had 12 friends gathered for the weekend and cooked every meal there). The trails were beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub/pool was cozy and sweet, and the lake! Oh, the lake was just perfect. Lying on the floating dock in the sunshine is a memory I'll hold on to for a long time. (And for those who are interested in fishing, my partner had a joyful time catching and releasing trout) :) The land itself is rich and vibrant--we had deer strolling by us every evening, giggled at the banjo frogs singing each day, and gazed at wildlife in the sky (hawks, bats). The stars were striking each night, and everyone was reluctant to leave once our weekend was up. Finally, the property manager, Reed, really went above and beyond--kind and thoughtful, he patiently answered a number of questions beforehand and was responsive throughout our trip. A bow of gratitude for the beings who steward this land. I hope to visit again soon.

Fun times hiking, fishing & swimming

This was our second time visiting Berry Hill Lake and throughly enjoyed ourselves again. We hiked, fished and swam daily. The lake was stocked with bass and bluegills that we caught right off the dock and from a kayak everyday. Great Summer trip for the family.

Wonderful summer stay

This is a stunningly beautiful slice of Planet Earth. We feel so fortunate to have found it. The host was remarkably responsive to every text, and we had several for information and assistance. The list of the communications is too long and irrelevant, so suffice it to say it could not have been better. There is really nothing negative to say. We had a couple of suggestions we passed along to the owner, but they were just ideas we have to make excellent even better!!! If you have the time and resources, treat yourself!!!

Staying in Berry Hill made this special gathering for our friends and family for my son’s college graduation so memorable . In the summer of 2012, coming home from a vacation in Myrtle Beach, we decided to go the back way and break up the trip. Just outside of Lynchburg, VA, we headed northwest to take the scenic route. We travelled up and down the rolling hills on the country roads with beautiful reveals of the mountains around every turn.

We ultimately ended up at Devils Backbone Brewery in Roseland, VA that day, our first taste of Rockfish Valley. After lunch (and a couple beers), we started dreaming of being able to come back to the area again soon to relax, have fun, and most importantly, reconnect as a family.

After more trips that year and next, we started thinking, “maybe we could find a place to buy.” In the busyness of life - growing a business, coaching youth sports and running kids around every night, we realized time was moving fast, and we needed to “slow down” and “enjoy life”. We ultimately found some land and started planning.

While we now spend as much time as we can at Berry Hill, our hope is that other families and groups can enjoy the property as well, and experience what we’ve come to call the “Berry Hill State of Mind”.
