We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, pubs, and restaurants. The house itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the bedrooms were a great size, and the dining room had a lovely large table that was ideal for our bigger group. The host was super friendly and very accommodating. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely return.

A lovely stay for a family of nine in Tenby Villa.The villa was as advertised, well equipped, comfortable living room, comfortable beds. Ample room for everyone to gather in the evening, whether to eat or watch tv. Less than five minutes from the seafront, even less to the walled town. Rachael was quick to respond to any query. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great holiday in Tenby Villa. The location was brilliant, few minutes walk to lovely Tenby town, beautiful beaches and handy supermarket. House very well presented. Lovely comfy beds!Good communication and service from host.Would definitely recommend.

Tenby Villa

Lovely property, conveniently situated in Tenby close to all attractions. Good communication from landlord and lots of hints about places to eat and visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Tenby vacation

We loved the location and the place. Rachael was very responsive and helpful when we requested to turn the heat for my senior mom. Only small recommendations - Towels would have been great since we were traveling from abroad and we were careful in limiting the contents of our bags. Trash bins in rooms would have useful. The shower didn’t have a place to hold shower supplies.

We're looking at installing a rack inside the shower to hold shampoos etc. It's the small observations and recommendations from guests that we really value as we can try to create those home from home comforts. Just Right

Lovely house, very well equipped, plenty of seating in the living room and dining room; spacious bedrooms, nice bathrooms. Excellent communication with host Rachael before and during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. House is just down the road from North beach, parking could be an issue as you need a permit, so you might need to sort that out if you need to be close to the house; (we saw a car outside the house get a ticket). We parked in the train station car park at the end of the street which was only a few pounds for a week out of season. Weather was rubbish so it was lovely to have a nice warm comfortable house to stay in!

Thank you Lesley for such a great review. You caught Storm Ciaran so had a very wet and windy stay. I'm so pleased that you found the house warm and comfortable. The sun doesn't always shine in Tenby which is why we have fitted a wood burner and have super comfy beds and furniture for those winter breaks when you need to stay in for a while. We've tried to create a spacious environment which can accommodate everyone if you have to stay in, put your feet up and relax. The large dining table means everyone can stay in and eat together. We want our guests to have a great stay whatever the weather. Thanks for choosing to stay with us again.

Lovely house in a fantastic location

Tenby Villa is a great house, conveniently situated in Tenby close to everything, I don’t think we could have done better with its’s location. Parking was 2 minutes just away in the long stay car park. The host Rachael was fantastic, from asking a few questions initially which she responded to quickly and gave lots of detail about the house and the area. She was also quickly adjusted the heating when we contacted her as you can’t change it yourself. The house is as described on the website, with the separate dining room being great. The seat in the kitchen itself is very comfy, and a real sun spot in the morning. The main bedroom with its en-suite is very spacious and having the bathroom works well, we ended up sharing this with the other generous bedroom on that floor. It was almost exceptional. The other bedrooms were smaller, and the niggle some had was with the blinds and their configuration which meant that the sun came up so did the room, so if you were sensitive to the light it may bother you. Each bathroom had a hand towel but full bath towels weren’t provided. We knew this in advance but given the cost I would expect to have them included. I would like another small light in the living room and maybe a few more basics in the kitchen (ie food staples). I definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Tenby, it was ideal for us as a group of 6 adults. We felt we had space and privacy when needed but also great communal areas.

Hi Jane. We are so happy that you thought the house almost exceptional! Thank you for giving us five stars in all areas. We really value guests taking the time to thoroughly review the house so we can constantly tweak what we do. It's important to us, as hosts, that guests enjoy their stay with us. Following your recommendations we have bought an additional light for the living room and reviewed the kitchen staples. We now leave a comprehensive larder of essentials such as cooking oils, cooking salt, salt and pepper mills for the table, herbs, spices, sauces and vinegars. All essentials when cooking for a large group! With regards to the bath towels, we used to provide these but we had large increases in the laundry costs which we did not want to pass onto our guests. Following guest feedback we decided to lower the overall cost of the rental and not provide bath towels (but kept the hand towels). However, we will review this with our guests over the coming months and get feedback to see if this is something that guests would prefer. The heating for the house is controlled by a hive heating system which is automatically programmed to come on in the morning for a few hours and again in the evening between 6pm and 10pm. This usually suits most guests requirements but we remain super responsive for our guests before and during their stay and will always change the heating schedule to accommodate our guests needs. We agree with you that the bedroom blinds in the top bedrooms do let in some light. The windows are exact replicas of the original Victorian Dorma windows (but double glazed) and are an awkward shape. All of the bedroom windows have blinds but we are currently looking at detachable velcro curtains which we can customise and leave in the bedroom drawer. These can then be used if guests want to fully black out the room. Thank you again for pointing out these minor niggles, we constantly achieve 5star reviews but are aiming for exceptional. Without feedback from guests we would be unable to achieve this high standard. You were fabulous guests and we would love to host you again. Best Wishes Rachael
