This is a great house. If anything the pictures undersell it. We were two couples, one single and two young kids, and one dog, and it was plenty of room. The house is clean and spacious, the kitchen well-stocked. The pool and the entire large backyard area is great, especially for kids. And it’s right on a small inlet leading to the bay, with a boat dock - we rented a kayak for the week, which I would strongly recommend. Also a very short walk to the ocean and very short drive to a kid-friendly bay beach. My only suggestion, if you have young kids, bring a gate or two for the stairways.

The home was very comfortable and very well equipped for comfort and convenience. Kitchen was supplied with enough plates and glasses along with necessary utensils, there was nothing was wanted that was not there. The dining room has a very large table enabling all to eat together and play games. The air conditioning was very comfortable as was the temp of the pool and hot tub. The length of dock made it very easy to fish and crab at the same time. It is our favorite home and this was our second stay. The owner was very attentive to all questions! I really can't say enough good things about this home!!

Great house in perfect location. Family of 5 had plenty of space. Loved the heated pool and hot tub. Were able to bring our 2 dogs and they had plenty of room to roam. Yard fenced in. Very quiet. Short walk to beach (crossing 1 main road) and walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and a small market. Communication was quick and spot-on. Owner recommended renting bed sheets and towels. Great idea!!!! Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and beach chairs/cart/umbrellas. We’ll be back!!!!

Home in Harvey Cedars

This home is a great location on a quiet street in Harvey Cedars. Stayed with my extended family and enjoyed the access on the canal. Ample parking. Kids spent a lot of time in the pool, canal, and hot tub. Pool was larger than I had expected from the pictures and was a very pleasant temperature. Easily able to easily launch kayak/ paddleboard from the dock. Brought a crab/fish trap and the kids enjoyed seeing what they were able to catch (lots of crabs!) Screened in porch was nice to have. Kitchen was very well stocked. Outdoor shower was very nice. Host was very responsive. Quick walk to the beach, although surf was very rough and cold during our stay (we were told by locals that this was very unusual) You get 6 beach passes, which was sufficient even though we were a party of 12. A couple of FYIs: the living room in the listing says futon and queen. It is a full sleeper sofa only, and that room is how you access to the screened in porch, so expect through traffic in that room. All bedrooms besides the master are on the lower level, so if you do have some early risers you can hear people walking around on the upper level since it is all wood floors. One of the two full bathrooms has limited access since it is inside the master bedroom (the room with the extra twin bed). The room with the twins are 3 beds, one is a trundle. You need to bring your own linens and towels.

Our Family Reunion Home away from home

For years now, my wife and I have called together our son and daughter and our 6 grandchildren to spend a week together on beautiful Long Beach Island. We've been doing this for over 20 years now, but just in the past several years, we found our favorite place to call home when the family gets together. We travel from Florida, NC, Colorado, Oregon, NY, and CT to this wonderful house and are never disappointed. Thanks John for providing a wonderful getaway.

Relaxing beach getaway

My family and I had a wonderful week staying at this property. The listing was accurate, house and pool were terrific and the beach was just down the block. Would definetly stay again and highly recommend!

Practically Perfect

Comfortable, clean, roomy, plenty of beds, well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Loved the pool and lagoon was great for kayaking, paddle boarding. Great location within walking/biking distance of restaurants and stores. And we were able to bring our dog!!! Plus timely communication and help when needed from our host, John. Nothing but good things to say about this beautiful home!

A great place for our family reunion

As our kids & now grandkids have grown into adulthood, it’s harder & harder to rope them in from all corners of the country, so when planning a once-a-year get together, you want everything to go off without a hitch. All was pretty much perfect & stressless for all concerned. A perfect retreat for our wonderful family

Awesome home, for all ages!

The home has an open floor plan that permits all to be together with more than enough room for each. The kitchen and grill are stocked with more than enough plates and utensils for everything we wanted to cook/bake. Having a small refrigerator in the dining room was very convenient and I wasn't even expecting that! The decks are expansive with a wonderful view!. Now my favorite parts, a heated pool and hot tub! Our rental time was September and these made our time heavenly. We would stay in the pool most of the day and as it got cooler as the sun went down, we would gather in the hot tub! My second favorite thing to do there was to fish and crab in the lagoon. We started renting all inclusive homes after covid started so if we couldn't get out much, we were still able to have a lot of fun. That worked so well that this home makes us happy to stay home all week. Of course, there are so many fun things to do in LBI that we do get out but this home is really very comfortable, nice and fun. I forgot to mention the cleanliness! Oh my, I really could't even find a crumb! And the owner always responded quite timely to any question before and after our week. Really, this was our favorite place!!

Great place on Long Beach Island, NJ

Very nice place, our second time here. Heated pool and hot tub and perfect internet where my son and his wife could both work remotely. Fortunately, I am retired and do not have to worry about work :). Overlooking a canal and our Scottie dog barked when a harbor seal leisurely swam by the dock. Quick walk to the beach.

Great way to end the summer!

Loved the pool and proximity to beach (2 blocks). One drawback was that you couldn't see the bay from this block since there's a large house at the end of the street. Lagoon was source of entertainment for kids (swan swam up it daily) and we tried to catch crabs (without success). Overall would recommend it. Nice amenities (plenty of cookware and dishes). Plenty of space for our family.

Great for a family vacation

My family of two children and 6 grown grandchildren have been returning to Long Beach Island for a summer getaway/reunion for the past 10 years and this was perhaps the best of all. The accommodations were more than we expected and there certainly was something for everyone....pool, access to canal for kayaking and canoeing, wonderful hot tub, and spacious living area. We will look forward to returning here in the future.

LBI Off Season

We loved this place (14 Warwick) which had a heated pool and hot tub and overlooked a canal. Windows and skylights, modern kitchen. Especially nice after Labor Day when the crowds are gone. Several good restaurants and our friends visited, too. We will use VRBO again and go back to LBI.

Lovely home in Harvey Cedars

We enjoyed a lovely week at this very comfortable and well-appointed home. The pool and hut tub were great! We loved spending time on the large screened in porch as well. Neighbors are very nice and it’s a convenient location-walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach!

Better than photos

We had a great time in LBI! First time back after 10 years. The house was so lovely. Actually better then the photos. We enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. Only thing is we wished they provided linens and beach chairs. Other than that, we would stay again any time! Really, just a wonderful place to relax.

Perfect LBI Vacation Retreat

This home surpassed all our expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. It was absolutely amazing: incredibly clean, spacious, bright (tons of windows/high ceilings), well-laid out (3 bedrooms + family room downstairs), master bedroom, huge living room/open DR & kitchen upstairs. The decor was beachy but not overdone, with very comfy beds & seating areas. The kitchen was well-stocked leading to huge deck with 8-person table & separate seating area to view gorgeous sunsets. The outdoor space blew us away; so private, spacious, large hot tub & huge dock on the canal. The heated pool was the icing on the cake. The owner was very responsive & helpful. We would rent again in a heartbeat.
