Location spectacular, experience not so much
We had high hopes for this place as the description seemed well suited for our mixed family. Communication through WhatsApp with the management company was easy at first. We arrived early on Sardinia and wanted to check in early. There were mixed messages that 3pm or 4pm was proper check in. We were given the code finally at 3pm, only to be all in to a completely filthy, not cleaned apartment. And a very HOT area.Cleaning crew arrived after I said some nasty words to the company…There IS a parking space and this is key.We waited an hour in sweltering hot and tired for cleaning to finish. We were left with one roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet Paper for the week. So you definitely have to purchase your own necessities.The trash situation is very confusing on the island. Be prepared. The bins are not clearly Marked at the home. In addition we purchased cheap beach chairs and umbrella as the ones leftover at the house are rusted and rotten. The showers are small and completely spray water everywhere so it’s constantly wet in the bathroom which is dangerous to walk on. I had asked for extra towels with the cleaning crew, but if not we would have had 2 towels each for 5 days. And nothing to mop up the water from the shower.We bought a fan for the upstairs bedroom as it was over 90 degrees F in there. No a/c and unhealthy heat.Overall the location is ideal but attention needs to be paid to the details.
