Nestled within central Istria’s lush landscape of olive groves and vineyard-covered hills this peaceful retreat comfortably sleeps four guests and enjoys its own private swimming pool, external shower, hot tub, BBQ and outside dining area. There is also a swing and a trampoline to keep the children entertained.

Inside, the spacious property is arranged over two floors. The open-plan living area is finished with a terracotta tiled floor, exposed beams and brickwork, and the country-style kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge freezer and a breakfast table with four chairs.

Bedroom 1: The generous master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has a separate lounge area with two comfortable armchairs. This room also enjoys a fireplace, a flat-screen satellite TV and an ensuite bathroom.

Location

Situated in the hamlet Trošti, (a 10-minute drive from Istria’s capital Pazin) this property’s central location makes it a perfect base to explore the Istrian peninsula, with its picturesque coastal towns, pristine beaches, olive groves and vineyard-covered hills.

The region is ideal for nature lovers and hikers who can explore the lush landscapes and pretty villages. There are also plenty of opportunities for sunbathing, swimming and water sports at one of the many beaches that dot the coastline. Many of the region\'s most popular beaches are situated within a 45-minute drive from the accommodation.

Istria is also home to a number of well-preserved medieval towns that showcase a mix of architectural influences, including Roman, Venetian, and Byzantine. Some of the must-visit towns include Pula (a 42-minute drive away), with its ancient Roman amphitheatre, Rovinj (a 35-minute drive away), with its romantic old town and vibrant art scene and Poreč (a 36-minute drive away) known for the beautiful Euphrasian Basilica (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Pazin itself is famous for its rich historical and cultural heritage, reflected in the architecture and landmarks of the town. The town’s most prominent landmark is its 10th-century Castle (Kaštel), which sits on the edge of a deep gorge carved by the Pazinčica River.

The closest airport to the accommodation is Pula (PUY) a 35-minute drive away.
