Our river home is located on 3 acres with Frio river frontage on the property, 55yards from the house. The town of Leakey is 1.5 miles away on the scenic HWY 337.
Pets are welcome. This house has a private yard, the river frontage access is shared with House #1( VRBO Property ID 2206452. Plenty of room for yard games!
Home is fully furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen. You will need to bring, sheets, pillowcases, towels, & dish cloths.

Wonderful weekend away

We had a lovely stay in Leakey. The house was clean and welcoming. We had river access but still in town, plenty of amenities. Would highly recommend and plan to stay again next year!

Great location, great house

Nice large house nicely situated on the river, close to town with all the amenities. House manager was only a text away and awesome to deal with.

The property was in a great location, close to the river front, a short walk from the house. Its very close to stores for a quick supply run. River levels were good. The kids & dogs loved it! Hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive & accomodating. No issues at all with anything. We arrived to a very clean house and it ammomdated our group of 10 very comfortably! We will defintiely rebook for next summer!

Last Minute Getaway

Fantastic home/property for a large group-we had 10. Direct river access was perfect, close enough to town if you forgot anything but far enough away that it was a quiet, peaceful getaway. Outdoor games provided were great! We all agreed-we would definitely stay here again

Fantastic Stay

This location was perfect for us and our dogs. The fenced yard was large enough for them to play. The access to the river was just a few step from the house. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. We had so much fun we ended up extending our stay another 4 days.

Great for family

Very nice house for our family. Every thing was as described. The short walk to the river was great. It was a great place for the little ones to play in the river. Just a little ways down, a deeper pool was a nice surprise.

Family river trip

Our stay was great. The entire property is maintained well and the house was very clean. It was nice having access to the river right outside the backyard. Rick and Temple were great hosts, and answered any questions quickly. We are definitely looking to book with them again in the future.

Labor Day Weekend

The house was spacious , comfortable, clean. Host had games to play,Map of surrounding areas .Twisted Sisters was awesome to Cruz .My family enjoyed it.River was low, it was nice to walk down and hike the river bed ,catch the sunrise,listen to the birds watch the fish swim around. Definetly recommended !!

Aunt Linda Frio stay

We have been coming to the Frio for 45+ years...our Aunt Linda brought us every summer! Family and friends who became family look forward to the Frio trip and despite a rough time getting here.. this trip did not disappoint! With close proximity to the river, it made it easy to enjoy. So this visit we have introduced our newest member of the family to floating the Frio!! So the tradition continues.The house was neat and clean, near to town,owners made it easy to enjoy with maps, suggestions on activities. But we chose to stay in, grill, eat smores,play rumikub and swim in an awesome swimming hole! This place was very accomidating. Would highly reccommend! Thanks for the good times!

Nice Quick Family Getaway

The house itself, location on the river, and access to the river were perfect for our family! The “walk” to the river was VERY short….I’m not even sure it qualifies as a walk. I’ve stayed at other properties where a “short walk” could be 0.25 mile. But here it was probably less than 100 ft….steps away. We LOVED that! And the spot where you are on the river is perfect too. Lots of shallow and deep spots for all ages. We loved that the house was fenced in from front yard to backyard making it feel separate, especially since we had our dog with us. Despite the listing being named “house #3,” we hadn’t really thought about what that meant. There are two other houses on the property that were also booked. And when we initially arrived, we were a little wary. But it was totally fine because the setup allowed for us to determine how much we wanted to interact with the other guests without feeling/seeming antisocial, and we were all very friendly with each other.
