A beautiful house in a peaceful location with stunning views and a good pool, close to Finestrat Beach, supermarkets, and Benidorm. The local taxi service was excellent although having a car was essential for shopping trips especially. Thanks to Philippe and Elena for allowing us to share their home. Overall, outstanding.

Lovely stay

The Villa was clean and well set up. Although the pool hadn’t been cleaned for our arrival it was sorted and the pool man was there the next morning to clean it. We had car and would recommend that you do have one for when you stay here. There are buses and taxi that can take you down in to Benidorm but did find on occasions long wait time for the taxi to take us anywhere. The Villa was clean and well stocked for cooking onsite. WiFi was excellent allowing us to stream UK TV when we needed. Supermarkets are just a 5 min drive away to stoke up on provisions. We also had lunch down there at one of the cafes. Thank you for providing us with a lovely stay.

Beautiful, Well-Located But Lacking Comfort

This house, located in a planned vacation community, is in a fine location for those looking to enjoy the pleasures of the Costa Blanca area. It is beautiful and has fine views. However, there are a number of issues that really detract from the overall experience. The site location is such that the best-view areas are constantly in the sun. We were there at a time when it was not too hot, and even then, it was not comfortable to be out. There is no good shade. Further, the main living area has very little comfortable lounge seating. The house accommodates 6. It would be very difficult if you had six adults looking to have a relaxed evening conversation inside, at least by the relaxation standards I want for guests. That brings us to the upstairs bathroom and the lack of privacy. A sink area with two sinks is open to the hallway.n The toilet and shower are closed off by a glazed glass wall and door that are translucent. I have come across this 'form of privacy' occasionally in the past, so obviously, there are people who feel it is a nice architectural touch. I hate it. It was bad enough having to deal with this with my two teenage grandchildren. If I were bringing friends to Europe, as I sometimes do, I would have been terribly embarrassed. Phillipe and his local person are great communicators who make you feel welcome. But the lack of clarity about this in the listing is a major flaw. I would not have rented this property if I had known that was a major feature.

Stunning property, fantastic friendly area

The house stands out a mile! It’s beautiful, everything down to the pool guy! The outside area is massive!!!! The pool is fantastic and so pretty when the sun is shining with the colourful flowers in the back ground! The views are stunning and the view from the terrace in the main bedroom is the best Iv seen! The house is well equipped and the tv was great. We will be returning very soon!! The owner is just lovely

Had fab stay with Family, the pool and outside areas was perfect had couple of bbq that's was lovely treat. Location is a bit out of way from shops bars etc luckily we hired cars which helped but overall was an excellent stay thanks Phillippe

Koselig feriehus med flott beliggenhet

Vi var en familie på 5 med besteforeldre som leide huset i litt over 1 uke. Det var et fint og rolig område og huset var i en blindvei. Huset, hagen og bassenget var like fint som på bildene og det var en fantastisk utsikt. Kan anbefales.

Very nice villa with beautiful view. Weather was hot and the airconditioning and pool was perfect! We had a rental car and we think it was a must.

Tolles Haus, sehr schöne Lage und super Pool. Auf der Homepage sollte beim zu bezahlenden Preis, die zusätzliche anfallenden Reinigungskosten von Euro 150.00 erwähnt werden. Diese mussten bar vor Ort bezahlt werden und wurden aber erst nach der Buchung bekannt gemacht.

Golf Bahia Villa August 2019

View and pool excellent but lacked shade, but understandable given the construction of the pool area. Property, though airconditioned, struggled in the heat and the airconditioning in the downstairs bedroom was hopeless and noisy. Arrived to find there were no towels for the loungers which was rather strange. Kitchen needs serving dishes,trays and containers only 3 mugs between 6 people. Kitchen layout poor and the marble worksurfaces have warnings about placing items on them as they stain yet there was only one preparation board. While the villa owners did suggest a rental car was needed the villa is a long way from shops and restaurants so we used taxis which were reliable but could not accommodate the whole party so we had to order two at a time. The villa is located in Finestrat so some taxis were unlicenced for Benidorm and vice versa so bear this in mind as it makes taxi arrangements more awkward. Generally the villa did what it said on the tin and served us well for the 10 days we were there. Generally the villa worked well for us, though with the addition of a few low cost additions as mentioned the experience would be improved. The villa is fairly isolated and if a rental car is not used then the taxi bill will be quite high.

Lovely stay in Golf Bahia

We had a really lovely stay at the villa. It’s within easy driving distance of Benidorm, Altea and Villajoyosa so lots of options for eating out in the evenings. The shopping centre a few minutes drive away is great to have so close and you’re spoiled for choice of supermarkets and shops. You do need a car as amenities aren’t within walking distance and the surrounding area is quite hilly - but that does mean you get fantastic views of the sea and the mountains in the other direction. The awning provided a lovely shaded area for eating and relaxing by the pool and plenty of sun beds as well. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be a good addition - as two couples were sharing the upstairs bathroom the mirror for getting ready for a bit congested. Would definitely recommend this villa to others staying in the area.

Amazing!! Stunning Views!! A Great Villa!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this Luxury, Modern Villa for two weeks at the end of September. The villa exceeded our expectations and more. The pictures don't quite show, just how spacious and stunning it all is. It has a picturesque 360' view of the sea and mountains, which can be seen from every window and door around the property. The pool was lovely and looked great in the evening all lit up, along with the Benidorm skyline all lit up in the background. There was plenty of comfortable seating inside and out to relax and enjoy the Spanish sunshine. We were very lucky with the weather, having 27*-33* in the day and 23*-26* each night, so perfect setting for all the beautiful surroundings. We chose not to hire a car and relied on public transport and walking. We walked down the hill to La Marinas shopping centre, where you'll find all the high st fashion shops such as C&A, Zara etc. Food outlets incl Burger King, Italian, American and plenty of Tapas! We also found our bargain shop Dealz (poundland) lol. It was from this area between Lidl next door and Carrefour where we caught buses into Benidorm Town, for more shops, bars and restaurants. So much variety to choose from for all tastes. The service and food was particularly good at our favourite Irish bar "The Bodhran" very relaxed, friendly, fair priced, Sunday roast was lovely and had sky sports on, plus nightly entertainment from 9pm. We enjoyed a Fantastic Pink Floyd tribute band in the The White Lion too and will be going to see them next May in Liverpool at the cavern. Bus No.s 2 and 3 are every 10 mins or so from Carrefour and just 1.50 euros single trip to Benidorm or anywhere from start point to end point of that bus route. We caught taxi's up the hill to the villa as it was bit steep for walking, but only cost us 6.20-7 euros each time and between 3 of us was good. The Natura Zoo is a must. This Amazing place is well worth a visit. We took a train from La Marinas shopping centre into Alicante, which is a beautiful place with a stunning harbour, and beach with great views. The palm tree strip with the wavy tiled floor was great, with market stalls along. The toadstool street was especially a great walk and sight to see, so look out for that. We had great communication with Philippe if needed. Thankyou to Kay and her husband for helping us with airport transfers. A Fantastic holiday was had by all, Thankyou Philippe, Kay etc.. Amazing villa and views

My family and I have a wonderful holiday in this lovely modern villa, the area it's located in is beautiful, mountain views, sea views plus city views over benidorm Is breathtaking. the villas pictures don't do this villas justice everything how it is in the pictures but better, didn't expect the outside space to be as big as it is I would recommend this villa to anyone who loves Benidorm but also it's perfect to exploring all of the Alicante region. Taxi fare to Benidorm square was a reasonable 15-17 euro if your looking a night out, for shopping there is a commercial centre with everything in it even a Poundland which my wife was in love, on the roof there is a good amusements park with all different rides and a playplace my 3 year old loved it, it's just over a mile away it was 5-7 euros for a taxi fare, having a car at this villa would be handy but we didn't mind walking and getting taxis as I don't like to drive on holiday, la Cala beach is a couple of miles away and is beautiful it's less busy than Benidorm beaches def worth a visit. Unfortunately during our stay there was a bad storm but the owners done everything they could to help us out, the owner is a nice man great communication we were even allowed to have an early check in and late check out at no extra cost as it suited both owners and key holder, the key holder was excellent she even gave us a lift back to the airport for a good price so thanks again to Phillippe and Kay for making our holiday amazing

Simply Stunning

We have fell in love with this villa, it ticked all of the boxes for us and was very modern, clean and spacious. You have a wonderful view over the coastline and you can get a taxi into Benidorm if you fancy a day or night out, but have the luxury of being in a very peaceful, relaxing location. We liked it so much we are booking again for next year.

Beautiful Property! Comfortable Stay!

We were warmly received by the key-holders who gave us helpful information about the property and the region. It is a very smart and comfortable villa. It is situated reasonably close to shops and amenities. We had our own rented car so the location was very convenient. It might be different if you are dependent on public transport. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Hope to be back some day.

Beautiful

We had a lovely stay in June at the villa, everything was spot on. The villa is very nice inside and out, the pool was excellent and there's toys, lilos etc in the garage if you have children. The surrounding area was so peaceful and the views are amazing. We booked the villa as we stayed in Benidorm old town last year and loved it so much we wanted to take our girls back but we didnt actually leave the villa much!! we just chilled by the pool in the day and utilised the bbq at night. We just had a lovely relaxing time. The supermarkets are just 3 minutes down the road with a car and theres lots of choice (carrefour, lidl, and Mercadona) theres shops, macdonalds kfc etc there also. You could easily walk there but the walk back would be all up hill. We would definatly like to go back and recommend to our friends. A perfect home from home.

SEJOUR IDEAL

Magnifique villa avec une vue splendide sur la Méditerranée et de beaux aménagements intérieurs. Emplacement très calme mais en même temps à quelques minutes des centres commerciaux.Plein soleil et de délicieux coins d'ombre sur la terrasse et dans le jardin. Les contacts avec les propriétaires sont aisés et rapides. Nous nous associons complétement aux remarques élogieuses déjà formulées.

We are a Belgian couple, honest and sincere, who love outdoor activities in the sun. We bought this house in Spain in 2013 and started renting it seasonally the same year. In compliance with Spanish law, an alarm system is installed inside and outside the house the same year as we don't live permanently in Spain and the house sometimes remains vacant for a long period. This alarm system is completely reasonable and legal, it is a guarantee of the personal and property safety for ourselves and our guests. Our key-holder is told to teach guests how to use the system upon arrival. Due to legal or/and technical reasons, the camera cannot be used when the system is switched off. We have never used this system when we had guests in the house in the past 11 years. Some of our guests have used tape to cover the camera of the system in the house and we have no problem with that. But please be sure to remove the tapes as the house may be empty after you leave.

We have to explain this alarm system because a guest who didn't respond a single word to our emails and messages, not even a word of response out of simple politeness after the reservation and during his stay (the only one in 11 years of rental experience) left a negative review in 2024 because of the alarm system camera but we can't respond to it since he booked from a VRBO affiliate site. This negative review, made simply because of a bad mood can only show that our house, amenities, comfort and cleanliness remain of the same quality as always.
