Perfect location!

Great stay with perfect location! Our soccer tournament was just 4 min away and the condo was clean with comfortable beds! Easy checkin and out with a garage to boot!

Great location

We had a great time at Trappeurs Crossing. The unit was close to the pool and hot tubs, and the shuttles to the mountain and town were very convenient. We would stay again!

Great spot!

We stayed here for out first anniversary. The unit was perfectly located and just what we expected. Great access to the pool area, parking and the area around!

Wonderful stay, great location, beautiful home

We had a wonderful time staying here. The accomodations are so beautiful and it has everything you would ever need. It is located close to the center of town, and we loved the easy access to the pool. After a long day hiking there was nothing better than relaxing on your patio and watching the kids play in the pool. It was just perfect!

Nice unit on the ground floor. Mattresses in the bedroom and pull-out should be replaced. Giant depressions on both mattresses kept us from a restful night's sleep. Easy access to the pool. Unit was nice and clean with plenty of amenities. Overall a winning place, would just prefer something with newer mattress on both couch and bed.

Exceptional Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Quiet 1st floor location with easy access to all areas of the complex. A very clean, modern and well stocked kitchen. The living room is very comfortable with a fireplace and small things that are often missed, (coasters, chair pillows, magazines, lamps nearby instead of just overhead lighting etc.). A comfortable bedroom and a very well supplied bathroom. The small refined touches makes this property stand out and invites you to "be at home". There is a dedicated Ski locker, however Christies Sports will store for free when staying at Trappeur's Crossing. The Shuttle service was exceptional and runs like clockwork. We had a very enjoyable stay and will be looking for this particular property next year when we return.

Great condo- great location!

I loved this 1 bed/1bath condo at Timberline Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing! It is a patio walk out- that is my favorite type of condo. Sitting on the patio overlooking the pool- very resort like. Even though the temperature outside reached 92+ degrees during my 11 day stay, the condo remains comfortably cool even though there is no airconditioning! The kitchen is quite spacious- easy to work in. The in unit washer and dryer make it possible to pack just a carry on bag. The front desk that runs Trappeur's is top-notch. Even though I rented through vrbo, the front desk was ALWAYS pleasant, helpful and informative. I enjoyed the wine and cheese social on Fridays during the summer. The pools are very nice and I especially enjoyed the tennis courts.The front desk also agreed to allow me to check out late on Sunday and this was greatly appreciated as I did not leave town until much later in the day. The condo is exactly as pictured. It was very clean and of course was supplied with several sets of towels. The condo comes with 1 under the building garage space- secure and easy to access with the elevator. Shopping carts and luggage carriers are provided to make getting your groceries to and from the car-condo EASY!! I will definitely plan to rent this condo again when I return to Steamboat!! Perhaps I should not rave about how wonderful it was- it may make it too difficult to book it for a return visit!! AND- the owner, Marsha was very responsive to my emails and ?s about the condo. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a 1bed/1bath unit!!

Overall this was a solid value to be near the base of the mountain and have all the amenities that Trappeurs has to offer.

Easy, convenient, clean.

Located about a mile from the mountain. Easy to get to via shuttle or short drive. Covered parking. Walked to base as well but would be tough in ski boots. Washer/dryer in room. Quiet even though close to pool/hot tub.

Spacious and convenient

Spacious one-bedroom with jet tub in large BR, well stocked full kitchen, great helpful front desk staff. Easy access to garage and pools/hottub. Great shuttle service to skiing.

Fantastic Property

We had a great stay at Trappeur's Crossing. The unit was as advertised clean, and well appointed. The first floor location is convenient to the main pool/hot tub complex near the reception area. As others have noted, the shuttle service is excellent, the driver's are accommodating and will do everything they can to get you from point A to point B. Shuttle service to the gondola is timely and convenient. Staying at Trappeur's also gives you access to the ski check at Christy sports which allows you to go back and forth without all your gear. During "Rush Hour" they do have some brief waits at Christy but they do a nice job moving the process along. Although the unit is only a one bed it worked out fine. We put the 10 and 7 yr old on the pull out coach and we took the master. Kids were so tired at night it wasn't an issue having them in the same bed. We would absolutely stay here again.Our dealings with the owner were completely professional they were accommodating when we needed to adjust the stay slightly. The front desk and concierge are also fantastic, going out of their way to provide assistance. For those reading this never having been to Steamboat before, seriously consider going to Strawberry Park hot springs. Fantastic facility. Read some reviews to determine if you want to go during the day or at night. Looking for something to do with kids? Head out to go snow tubing for a couple of hours. It's fun! This trip we went to 8th Street Steakhouse. We enjoyed the experience and the food. We have yet to go in the summer but it's on the list. Enjoy Steamboat Springs, its a fantastic town.

3rd time here, & we'll come again!

We just spent a week in this lovely condo. It's our 3rd time to stay here in the past several years, and it's always been wonderful. We spent most evenings in the charming hot tub/pool area, and we cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen. We walked along the bike path by the Yampa River and found a beautiful spot right on the water's edge for a picnic. We went to both Strawberry Park Hot Springs - possibly the most beautiful in Colorado! - as well as the Old Town Hot Springs, also a nice experience. Unfortunately, the Rio has closed down, but we ate delectable Mexican food with great margs at La Montana, a short walk from the condo. We ate twice at Mambo Italiano, cooked our own steaks to perfection at the 8th Street Steak House, and sat by the Yampa for happy hour at Sunpie's. We caught the free bus right by the condo when we wanted to go downtown. What a great trip!

great location, great amenities, great staff, and the shuttle!

The unit was spotless and well appointed. The garage access always makes the Colorado winters easier as well. The staff was friendly, and the unit has the best location on the ground floor. The shuttles run seemingly non-stop which makes it easy to the slopes or a marg at The Rio downtown.

Great time in Steamboat Springs!

We had a wonderful time at this well appointed 1 BR unit at the Timberline Lodge. The unit was in perfect condition when we arrived. The unit contained everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the easy access in and out from this 1st floor unit. We would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it. The Timberline Lodge is near the hill and just a few minutes from downtown Steamboat Springs.

Excellent Weekend Getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Trappeurs this past weekend for a getaway. The condo was perfect and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Steamboat! It was clean and comfortable and included a shuttle to help us get downtown for dining and shopping. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub at the lodge, along with the Apres Ski happy hour provided. We enjoyed Strawberry Park Hot Springs, Snowshoeing Rabbit Ears pass, and a fantastic dinner at The Laundry. Wonderful weekend! Thank you very much.

Great Condo for a Ski Vacation

This was our fourth time coming to Steamboat to ski. First time staying at Trappeurs Crossing. The resort and this unit were exceptional. Great location! Did not need a car. The resort shuttle service was convenient and took us where ever we needed to go. The owner of the unit and staff at the resort were excellent. The unit itself with well decorated, very clean, well maintained and equipped with all we needed for a great vacation. I would definitely recommend this unit to others.

The accomodations were exceptional. The staff went out of their way to assist us upon every request. We were treated as though we were in a 5 star hotel.The room was decorated beautifully, it was impeccably clean, and was equipped with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Steamboat Springs Property Review

I was very pleased with the unit except for one small flaw in the layout of the condo. Given the proportions of the room, the dining table can not be positioned as planned in the room or else you can not open the bathroom door. This leaves the chandelier hanging where you can easily hit your head. This unfortunately happened on a daily basis for each of us in our group over five and a half feet tall. There were also no sheets for sleeper sofa in the condo but this was quickly rectified by the front desk. On the positive side, the resort shuttle was fantastic taking us into town every night as well as shuttling us to and from the ski hill. It is also great being able to check your skis in at the ski hill so you do not have to take them back and forth to your condo. I also enjoyed the Monday and Friday Happy Hours put on by the resort.

Wonderful condo

My husband & I stayed a long weekend at this luxurious condo, and we would definitely do it again. We were there in late autumn. We walked out the front door, two blocks to the ski area, and then up the mountain for a beautiful aspen-glow hike. The hot tub and heated pool were lovely one afternoon, and we cooked several times in the completely appointed kitchen. The gas fireplace added a wonderful romantic touch. Arrangements and check in processes were a breeze, and the owner was gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this condo!

You MUST rent this place.....!

Fantastic Experience! Steamboat is a pleasure to vacation in, anytime of the year! Trappeur's HAS the best amenities, the location in Steamboat is perfect. The condo itself is spacious and well maintained, and is in a great location in the resort complex. Turn the key and you feel at home! And the owner was very accommodating, made the payment and check-in process very easy. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again the next time we go to Steamboat!
