Cottage is perfect for us. Love the location for mid coast Maine. Sunsets over Wiscasset are magnificent. We've stayed here multiple times and would do it again.

First, the pictures do not do the property justice. Much, much nicer. Location is superb. We stayed 4 weeks and hope to get to repeat sometime in 2026. Great property! Thank you very much!

Comfortable place

We stayed here four nights, and it was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and they even had dog bowls and a dog bed for those who travel with their pet.

Great place for a long weekend in Mid Coast Maine

The cottage's location is perfect for mid coast Maine getaway. It is situated in a very cute neighborhood resort close to many things to do. We appreciated arriving to a clean, comfortable space in a peaceful, quiet area.

Great communication. The location is amazing! Great place to walk pets. Close to Boothbay, Wiscasset and Bath areas. The interior was nice, open and had everything we needed. The inside is nice, not fancy but nice. Bed was pretty comfy. The pics were a bit deceiving. There is no place to sit outside. Not water access. View from inside is very nice. Overall was a nice place to stay.

Feels like Home

Stunning sunrise @ sunsets right outside your door. Location to Boothbay Harbor @ Botanical Gardens. We are frequent flyers and will definitely book again.

Great Location

Nice views of water and quiet location. Good base from which to visit many sites in the area. Property was clean and private. River across the Lane. Easy area to walk our dog.

More than lives up to its promise

This cottage is a jewel! Just adorable, clean and plenty of space. I cooked many of my meals and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything I could need. Bath towels are luxurious and I appreciated the homey touches like kleenex, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. And the view of the Sheepscot River is gorgeous! I used this as a jumping-off spot for several day trips -- it's perfectly located to the mid-coast. I loved every minute and would gladly book it again in the future.

Super friendly and helpful owner

Customer service was great. The house is close to everything you can go in either direction and spend days exploring. Lots of vegan and pet friendly options on this trip and the property is beautiful. Right on the water in a really quiet location

Edgcomb cottage

Cozy cottage with a nice view , well kept landscaping, even not right on the water. Kitchen well stocked (we like to cook😀) , very clean and nice area all around. Wiscasset is very close with good seafood restaurants. Boothbay Harbor is about 25 min away but a lot Going on there as far as shops and restaurants and cruises. Had a great time

Wonderfully clean property and super host

Host is fantastic and helpful in every way. Property is clean, spacious, and encouraging. I love the signs saying “Serenity”. That’s just what you get on this wonderful property with fantastic view of inlet and quiet cottage resort. Definitely recommend! Super thumbs up!

Home

Location to Boothbay and Botanical gardens is a short drive. The sunsets are unbelievable and its very quite. The room fits all our needs. Open plan gives us the space we need. I will be back in the fall. We had a door issue and it was sol ved the next morning

Quiet and cozy. Plenty of space for 3 of us.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights with our teenager. There was plenty of space to spread out. Between the bedroom and the futon we all had plenty of space. The property was clean and had a beachy feel. Checkin and checkout were easy. The cottage gave us easy access to the Boothbay area which is a hidden gem.

Lovely accomodations in a perfect location

We have stayed at this location a couple of times because we enjoyed it so much! It is generously spacious for two people, which we like much more than staying in a hotel room since it is more comfortable to have a bedroom in addition to a kitchen area and living room space, especially since it is dog friendly! It is always very clean and nicely decorated, has a comfortable bed and great shower, and couldn't be more convenient to all the places we go (Boothbay Harbor, Daramascotta, Bath, Reid State Park, Brunswick, and all the beautiful hiking spots in the area). We love this part of Maine and visit often and really enjoy staying at the Sheepscot Harbour Village because it is such a lovely setting, right on the water where you can watch gorgeous sunsets and feel at home.

Great setting and location

Cabin is roomy and well equipped. The setting on the water is quiet and convenient to Booth Bay, Botanical Gardens and surrounding villages. We love the mid coast area.Only suggestion we have is the VRBO email received 3 days before arrival with the door code should remind you of the check in time. The booking paperwork has it but that was done months in advance.

My family and I fell in love with this cottage and this resort when we visited for a vacation so much that we decided to purchase it. We stared to rent it other vacationers in 2017 so they can enjoy it as well.
