We stayed here for 4 nights in December. Our unit was on the 3rd floor. When you arrive in Puerto Morelos, take the first left, & you'll see the bright orange building ahead. We arrived on Dec 24th, so there was a bit of confusion on the part of the young lady that welcomed us, but eventually things worked out.
The unit still had that new construction smell & everything looked very nice. We later found out we were the first to stay here. The apartment is very spacious & well laid out. The king size bed is comfortable for sleeping & no external sounds leak in at night. There is a nice private terrace right off the bedroom with provided seating & a small table. The safe is nice for keeping passports, extra cash, & other small items.
The kitchen has a nice size fridge that works very well. The microwave is also very good, but is labeled in Spanish, so it took a minute for us to figure it out. If you don't know Spanish, just go by the symbols & you'll probably be ok in no time. The electric stove top also works very well. The coffee maker makes one cup at a time & we appreciated that coffee was provided. Purified water is provided in the unit. This is great for cooking & drinking.
The bathroom was a little tight in our unit, but if you can make it to the third floor, you'll be able to maneuver in the bathroom too. We did see a ground floor unit that was designated for those with mobility issues. The shower itself is very spacious, and all the fixtures work well.
The living room has a futon for relaxing and a good size smart TV mounted on the wall. We used our Netflix account with no problems, except for everything being in Spanish in the on screen display. That made it a bit of a challenge to set thing up, but just like the microwave, we kept at it until we got it going. Only took a few minutes & we were good to go.
The TV worked so good for streaming content in the evenings, that we were surprised by the very weak WiFi signal. Reyna apologized for this & said she was working on a solution, so hopefully this will be resolved very soon.
We were the only ones with a rental car, so parking wasn't an issue, but parking on the street was also available, & nothing ever happened to our car.
The best surprise is the rooftop terrace with picnic table and palapa roof. So nice! You can see all around town from up there. We cooked fresh fish & shrimp, made a salad, & enjoyed dinner & drinks up there a couple of nights. Loved it!
