This was the perfect place for a quick family vacation. With North Pole, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs near by was ideal for our family to enjoy the area.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with this location. It is absolutely beautiful. The place is a duplex with the owner living above. The units are completely separate. The lodging was very clean. They do a wonderful job keeping things tidy. There were many small amenities available as well, from board games to useful tools. The location is great. Just a few minutes from the entrance to Pike's Peak highway and there are local restaurants and bars that are great fun. Garden of the Gods is also quite close by. You won't have any trouble finding things to do!Mike, the owner, was very hospitable and gave us lots of privacy. He only stuck around to talk when we reciprocated the conversation. We enjoyed his company during the trip.We hope that we'll be able to return in the future. This was a fantastic location!

And will never be forgotten. All I can say or do is give a big thanks to all that come before.and the folks that are yet to come. M.

Peaceful mountain lodging

Two night stay, well-located for exploring Pikes Peak and the surrounding area. Two bedrooms and a "bonus room" with twin trundle off the living room offered plenty of space for our party of four. Full kitchen and dining room would be very useful for longer stays.

OK so I grew up on a dairy farm, and then when I turned 21 I bought my own truck and started in the moving business, from coast to coast. Every time we went through Colorado, we said boy it be nice to live here, 30+ years ago, we rented a condo for a year, while we look for a house in the mountains. Needless to say, we found this awesome spot in Cascade Colorado, it doesn’t get any better than this. The reason I started hosting is because I just love seeing and hearing about how much folks enjoyed their visit. the views , the weather in the summer it’s nice and cool up here I am just glad I am able to share this with everyone that wants to stay ,

This property on pikes Peak Mountain is minutes from Manitu springs West Colorado springs Green Mountain Falls and Woodland Park . Don’t want to forget where a stones throw from Santa’s workshop and the north pole.Three large reservoirs on pikes Peak Mountain if you enjoy fishing and hiking . And beautiful views .Late August and sept. Beautiful foliage cool nights lots of sunshine . Even all the way to December, November, you can go outside with short sleeve shirts. Also in the summer July August never gets above the mid 80s and the house gets the cool downslope breeze off the snow year around on Pikes peak. And average humidity is 14%. Pretty cool.
