Having visited Cabanas for many years, this was our first stay in Mike's apartment. From booking to arrival and afterwards, communication was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, even when our travel plans were disrupted. We arrived early for check-in and the housekeeper, Cústodia, met us to allow us to change and drop off our bags. The apartment itself is excellent. A nice modern feel, tastefully decorated.Everything needed for a pleasant stay is provided. The bedroom is large and houses a very comfortable bed with plenty of storage. The living area is comfortable with a nice large TV and a great dining area. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, as is the bathroom. The external gardens are pleasant with a nice pool just a few metres away.Situated 100 metres from the local supermarket and central village, it is ideal but nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend and will certainly return. Thanks to Mike and Cústodia.

We took a taxi from the airport and were greeting by the very helpful property manager. There were no surprises as everything was as stated on the website, except, we were surprised that the owner had provide a very nice bottle of wine and yummy chocolates. Our stay was for 10 weeks so the comfortable, king size bed was a plus! Also, the L shaped sofa was a great place to relax with a book. The owner responded immediately when we had questions.Another plus was that there was a grocery store less than a block away where my husband could get his daily fix of Portuguese custard tarts.
