Hosts were lovely, helpful and had great communication which made the check in process really easy and stress free. The apartment and the location are absolutely perfect, it had everything we needed and more.We'll definitely book again when we want to return to Cabanas

Excellent facilities, great terrace. All rooms clean and spacious. We appreciated the items in the fridge. The hosts were welcoming and helped us settle in quickly. We would definitely stay again if in Cabanas.

Good location

We had nice days in this big apartment. It’s on perfect location, close to the beach close to the small city. Easy to find parking in the area.

Amazing property just as described

We stayed here for a week and are extremely happy with the apartment. The terrace is perfect for BBQ’s and sitting out on a summer evening. Will definitely be returning!

Spotless and well equipped.

Very comfortable apartment in a quiet residential block. Large sun terrace but very little sun during our stay, unfortunately! Owner was there to greet us, very helpful and approachable. Cabanas was very quiet at the beginning of March but the beach and boardwalk more than made up for this.

Nice apartment well equipped with everything you need

Nice apartment has everything you need. Good size private patio with bbq. we did not use much as winter and we were out. imagine would be good in summer for sun and shade mix.

Great holiday

Really enjoyed our holiday, the apartment was comfortable, clean and modern. The patio area was great for sunbathing and safe for the kids as they couldn't wander off. The wine, beer and water on arrival was a nice touch too and much appreciated. The swimming pools that we had access to were within easy walking distance and were spotless and the kids loved the boats across to the great beach. The apartment is within easy walking distance to a few local shops, bars, restaurants and the sea front. Overall we were really happy and would definitely visit again.

Excellent fully equipped apartment

After many visits to Cabanas over the years, this apartment is by far the best. It is so spacious, from the galley kitchen to the lounge to the patio area. We cooked breakfasts and dinners using all the equipment that you would use at home and did not want for anything else. The apartment is spotlessly clean and also contained many extra touches that were very much appreciated...including milk, coffee, wine, DVDs and great WIFI. I will definitely want to stay here again when next visiting Cabanas.

All good!

Very good apartament, well preserved. The outside area is the best part of the house for those that enjoy barbecue , having meals outside and stay at night with friends ir family just talking. It has everything for a Great stay. The only things we see to improve was : a second bathroom and better light outside.

Best of Portugal

This was our first visit to Portugal and it didn't dissapoint. This apartment is just fantastic. Modern bright well equipped and has air con and british tv available. We took our 18yr old and she loved it. Friendly locals with lots of cafes and restaurants within a five min walk. Superb beach reached by water taxi running constantly morning till night. We visited Villa Real and took ferry to Spain for tapas lunch abd and checked out local markets and villages. Great place to relax and we had many afternoons in the patio. Bev and Paul thanks for sharing your beautiful apartment .

Fantastic

From the minute we met Paul at the airport to the minute he dropped us off, we had a lovely experience. On the journey to the apartment he pointed out all the local sites and restaurants. There was a lovelly welcome pack waiting for us on arrival in the spotless apaetment. During the week Paul.was on hand to answer any questions. The apartment has lots.of space and with 4 sunloungers outside and a dining table there is plenty of room to relax.and enjoy the wonderful evenings. We qould definately return.

Excellent modern well equipped apartment

We had a wonderful 10 day holiday staying in Bev and Paul's apartment in Cabanas. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and grandmother and we all loved it. Very child friendly large terrace with lovely BBQ and loungers. On arrival nothing was too much trouble where Paula had got us a few groceries awaiting in addition to the welcome pack which was greatly appreciated! La Gomiera has a choice of 4 pools which also was great. The apartment was only a short leisurely stroll to the promenade where all the restaurants and snack bars are situated along with the little jetty where the water taxis are. Cabanas is truly a lovely, quaint little piece of heaven and the Portuguese friendly people add to the whole holiday experience of this little gem. Needless to say we will be back! Thanks Bev, Paul and not to forget Paula who I would like to specially thank for coming to our aid when my 2 year old got stung by a bee on the foot. She dropped everything and collected us from the apartment and drove us to the pharmacy and waited for us and drove us back again. Over and above her call of duty a wonderful, bright, friendly girl where nothing is too much trouble!

Our hosts were excellent, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and settled. Our location was wonderful, especially the great private, patio back yard.Cabanas is a wonderful small town, easy to get around and board walk was picturesque! Thanks for a great stay!

We are Bev & Paul, we have had our apartment now since Sept 2012 and love Cabanas so much we have now retired here and bought another to live in. We have fantastic feedback from our guests and hope many of them will return year after year.

We love Cabanas as it is not too commercialised, and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. There are great restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a quiet relaxed evening. The lovely beach is only a short boat ride away. Also Tavira is not too far away for a day out, which is easily reached by train, bus, taxi or water taxi.

Our apartment is a short walk to the many bars and restaurants, also the waterfront where you can get the small boat across to the beach. We have a large enclosed patio which is fully equipped with sun loungers and parasols for long lazy days and table and chairs for al fresco dining.The choice of 4 swimming pools on Quinta de Gomeira is also a benefit. We are close to a number of excellent Golf courses.
