Location
The apartment is in a quiet location, just a 20-minute walk (5-minute drive) from the lake shore. The town of Menaggio (7 minutes) is charming and quieter than some of the other towns on the lake. It has a lovely square with a wide choice of cafés, restaurants and shops. Guests can take a ferry from Menaggio to Varenna or on to Bellagio and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

There are many restaurants and other amenities close by. For self-catering Menaggio’s farmers market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Here you will find the best local ingredients.

Lake Como Adventures (20-minute drive), offers a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months. For something more relaxing, there is the Lido Menaggio (8 minutes) where for a fee visitors can enjoy swimming in the lake, or the swimming pool and sunbathe on one of the loungers.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 50 minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 40 minutes away.
