A luxurious Scandi-styled, spacious home, with 6 bedrooms comfortably sleeping 8 adults and 7 children. Nestled between Windermere and Troutbeck Bridge.
Pull down the private driveway, with space for 3 cars here, and take in the beautiful view of The Hideaway. A luxurious house even at first glance…just wait until you see inside.
Step through into the entrance hall, the perfect sanctuary from any unkind Lake District weather, and leave your muddy boots behind.
Slip through into the dining room. The perfect room to relax and dine with family and friends, in the sunny summer months why not throw open the patio doors and taking your dining al fresco for a barbecue on the terrace?
Wander through the dining room, where you’ll find the snug at the rear. A cosy space with corner sofa and huge cinema TV, here you can hunker down with popcorn to watch your favourite films on Netflix.
Beyond the snug, discover the luxurious kitchen. A beautiful, light and modern space fully equipped for all your cooking endeavours. Sit down at the breakfast bar and enjoy a frothy coffee with the brand-new coffee machine and Starbucks pods. Gaze out the window to your sociable terrace area with the outside sofa and complete with a fire pit table! Why not cook up the canapes and pour the fizz from here for your friends and family - is the perfect venue for those whose enjoyment is in entertaining!
For the ultimate wow-factor, invite your party through to the orangery. As you enter into this light and airy room, the space simply unfolds before you. Relax outstretched in here, the true hub of the home. This stunning room oozes luxury with touches of Scandi-living, relax in a cosy armchair with a good book and enjoy infinity views of the garden, which you can access with ease through the patio doors. Or stretch out on the cosy corner sofa in front of the modern fireplace - the perfect place to spend the evening playing board games and relaxing with your family.
Beyond the orangery is the fully equipped utility room. Adjoining the utility room, you will also find a handy shower and restroom.
Returning to the entrance hall, climb the stairs with us as we explore your sleeping quarters.
From the light and spacious landing, slip through to the left to find your brand-new bathroom. Complete with complimentary Rituals toiletries.
Directly opposite you is the kids' bedroom – complete with a huge triple bunk-bed! (Only suitable for children) The Hideaway has two highchairs and a travel cot for your use during your stay.
Step through the door to the right to discover a sumptuous bedroom with enviable views of the green beyond. Continue along the corridor to discover another cosy twin bedroom.
Turn right to discover one of the two master-suites. A gorgeous room with soft beige tones, boasting its own gleaming en-suite complete with a separate bath and walk-in shower. Enjoy the cosy peace and quiet of this room, as the morning sun filters in through the window.
Take the new stairway, up to the brand-new floor, feeling the light flood in as you climb to the top of the house....
Push the door into the spacious master suite with calm enveloping you as you enter the multi-textural space. The generous windows drench the room with light, overlooking the garden below. Step into the room and feel the vastness of the space with distinct living and sleeping areas encompassing the Super King-size bed, generous seating area, TV, sauna and spa-style master en-suite bathroom. The spacious, bright room is the epitome of luxury, sympathetic, calm scandi-style furnishings, over generous proportions and multi-aspect windows, delivering luxury at every level. A little piece of calm to retreat from the group for a quiet moment or a stunning family suite.
Tiptoe across the hall to the specially designed children's room, with two sets of bunk beds. sleeping up to four children. Designed with children in mind the room has everything that children would want in the perfect den, the room where holiday memories will be made, that will last a lifetime.
Outside:
Enveloped by hedges, you are so secluded here. This plot is so private, a true haven for wildlife. On a summer’s day, amble amongst the colourful flowers, or simply enjoy a crisp bottle of Sancerre out on the terrace, taking in the sunset. The Hot tub will be a family favourite to soak the muscles after a long day discovering the fells.
Children will adore this garden, with playground equipment consisting of a slide and a swing set, along with multiple picnic areas located throughout the garden shed. There is so much space to scamper about, while in the wetter months, a delightful beck wends its way through the end of the garden!
Walk out through the patio doors onto the terrace and garden beyond, take a moment of mindfulness and watch as nature emerges onto the lawn… Blissful solitude.
