The whole family absolutely loved the house. It had everything you need and more. The host kept in touch and gave all information required for a perfect stay.

fantastic place to spend a few days as a family, had all amenities you could want and more, very welcoming, everything was as expected and was just like home from home. would defiantly return.

The Hideaway

My family had a lovely weekend at The Hideaway for our Mum's 75th birthday. The property was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, spotlessly clean, well equipped and ideally located. There was something for every age range to enjoy and we would happily return, if visiting the area again.

The house in general no complaints, the location was a concern in regards to walking with young children the busy road made it impossible to leave without the car

The downstairs accommodation and garden, hot tub, children’s play area and fire pit were perfect for our family of 9. Everything had been thought out well and it was well equipped.

Amazing!

We visited the property for my dads 70th, I could not fault anything! The property was absolutely outstanding, from the decor and the cleanliness to the facilities and the location. It was a perfect walk into the centre of Windermere and Boweness and it had anything you would ever need. The host also left a beautiful box of goodies which made the experience even more special, all 9 of us will definitely be staying again! After I put the photos on Facebook I received an influx of messages asking for the details, and we have recommended it to so many people!

Lovely Place

Nice property, conveniently located. Well equipped. Some small items of feedback: The sink in the upstairs bathroom drains very slowly, needs a good unblock! Some curtain rails are in disrepair. The dishwasher had a message saying it needed salt. The wardrobe door in the upstairs bedroom needs repairing. The Sky Box wouldn't work. The front doorbell beeps every time you pass it, it feels like you're constantly being watched! All only minor issues which could easily be rectified. Thanks
