La Bibliotheque is amazing. I can't give higher praise for their team, or the facilities.

Great stay in eastern london

We had a nice stay here at the property. The host was available when needed and afforded privacy. The neighborhood is ok overall and there are some really good restaurants but surrounding areas can be very unclean and a bit seedy. Where the property is, however, felt safe. We would recommend booking here and staying with our host.

Easily accessible and cute location; subpar communication and cleanliness

The apartment was cute and easily accessible. It's very close to the overground which was a big plus for us. Check-in was easy and quick. Communication with the property owner wasn't great. The shower drained very slowly and got the bathroom floor wet, and when I tried to reach out at the beginning of our stay I received no response, even after a few days. It was also evident that the room had not been deep cleaned as there was quite a bit of dust on many surfaces, along with a few pieces of trash under the bed. There was also very loud construction happening on the apartment next door, right outside the window of our room. It would have been nice to know about before our stay, but I will assume the property owner was not aware of the construction ahead of time. Overall it was a great location and we were happy with the accessibility, just wish communication and cleanliness had been better.

I can only comment on the host Heidi and her terrible communication and business acumen as she knowingly double booked the accommodation (note, we booked and paid for it in full in OCTOBER 2025) and she decided NOT to tell us until we reached the property to find NO keys as per her check in instructions sent just 48 hours prior! She didn’t even have the decency to call us when we reached out, simply sent a message on VRBO app stating that it was double booked and the people in OUR accommodation had already been there a couple of days (but yet she still sent the check in details to us)! She said she was “happy to refund” our money so we “could find somewhere else to stay for the night” but that it would “take 7 days for the refund to be processed”! She then completely ignored us! So thanks to her, we didn’t get to go to the concert that we had paid 350 for tickets and spent the rest of our time in London trying to find somewhere else to stay as we couldn’t get home! Heidi…you should be ashamed of yourself, you should most certainly address your customer service, it’s shocking and VRBO - you should remove Heidi from your site - she should NOT BE ABLE TO LIST HER PROPERTY ON YOUR SITE as she has given you a very bad reputation. I am absolutely disgusted with her - I would MOST DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY IN HER PROPERTIES! Terrible full stop!

Klein aber fein

Es hat alles gepasst. Die Lage ist für einen London Trip perfekt. Nicht zu nah und auch nicht zu weit weg. 10min mit der Bahn und man ist an den Hot Spots. Das Zimmer war sauber und absolut ausreichend für unseren Aufenthalt. Es hat an nix gefehlt. Dank der Klimaanlage konnten wir sehr gut schlafen und waren erholt für den nächsten Tagestrip. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut und unkompliziert. Wenn London dann wieder hier!
