Beautiful villa with a private pool in the town of Tzitzifes, in the Chania region of Crete.
The house has recently been renovated. Villa Kois offers interiors with all amenities for a tranquil and comfortable stay. It is ideal for a vacation with family or friends: there are 4 bedrooms to accommodate up to 8 people.
Outside there are many large spaces where you can relax and enjoy beautiful views of the sea and countryside. Eat under the loggia, and take advantage of the private pool (heatable upon request), which even has a whirlpool corner and a shallow end for small children.
Villa Kois’s relaxing location is perfect for nature and countryside enthusiasts. At the same time, it is convenient for going to the seaside and exploring Crete’s most interesting places.
At guests' disposal:private pool with whirlpool area, waterfall and a shallow section with safety railing for small children (8 x 4 meters; minimum depth: 0,5 meters; maximum depth: 1,5 meters); with at least one week’s notice the pool can be heated upon request for an extra fee; 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; furnished loggia with barbecue and dining table; sun deck; terrace and balconies with sweeping views of the hills and sea in the distance; Wifi internet; air conditioning, parking.

Distances: Tzitzifes (restaurant) 50 meters, Fres (taverna and bakery) 2 km, Vrysses (shops of all kinds) 6 km; Vamos 11 km, Kalives (beach) 13 km; Georgioupoulis 14 km; Almyrida 17 km; Chania 34 km; Chania airport 38 km, Rethimo 40 km.

We stayed in Villa Kois in June 2026 for 2 weeks to celebrate a special birthday, so wanted something a little bit better than the average villa – we were not disappointed ! The villa was lovely, just as advertised. Plenty of space, great facilities, a lovely pool and the quiet village location we had wanted. The host (Vaso) and her family were lovely and treated us to some traditional Greek home-made food on 3 occasions – we were blown away by the hospitality. We had a minor issue with the aircon on one day, which was very promptly fixed – always a good measure of how a host treats and values their guests. We used the Villa as a base for a number of trips to Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion, the Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Imbross Gorge. Good beaches are also just a short drive away. All in all we had a wonderful time in a wonderful Villa – highly recommended.

Our family had the most amazing 4 weeks at this wonderful villa. We were welcomed so warmly by the hosts and treated to such wonderful homemade treats. The villa had everything we needed with a beautiful outside area to cook. The villa was so very clean. We particularly enjoyed the beach bar at The Salty Goat. We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful villa with its magnificent views and hopefully will return again. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay.

The villa is a beautiful old house with stunning views. It has been carefully restored to retain its character and charm, whilst offering modern comforts and a lot of space and light. The host (we met several members of their family over the week) were super responsive, friendly and helpful, thank you. The covered areas and the pool offered much needed respite from the august heat, and the rooms inside were immaculate - beautiful linen and towels, excellent showers and a well equipped kitchen. The villa is off the beaten track so a car is essential, although there are tavernas within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The Villa : Really is how you see it in the pictures. Very true to life. From furnishing to fittings, everything is new modern. The Villa is kitted out with everything you would need from home to home. Master bedroom with en suite and 2 other bedrooms both with single twin beds sharing another bathroom. Downstairs is the final bedroom with a double bed and separate shower and toilet. The villa was spotless on arrival. The cleaner came once during our visit and gave it a really deep clean, not that we made such a mess but she was on point. The Sunset: Views from the pool morning and night were breathtaking. High mountains, deep pink sky, on sun setting and rising. I thought the pictures had been filtered and tampered to sell the villa but no, I have never seen such a beautiful scene. The Pool: Lovely and well maintained clean pool, it was cleaned twice over the 10 days we were there. Everyone who supported the villa’s maintenance was very friendly. The Host: I have never met such a wonderful and kind human. Our host was the daughter of the villas owner. So kind and giving, she met our every need, message and phone call. Above and beyond. From information to needs, locations restaurants shops dietary requirements on arrival. God bless you with abundance. I actually made a friend and will keep in touch with her and join her for a coffee when I go back for sure. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the villa, it is based in a village and the locals are really friendly. Shops are a 10 min drive and you will find everything you need, local shops are clean and well presented. Chaina is a 40 min drive away. Thanky ou for providing this Villa and having us, great memories were made for me and my family

We have had a lovely stay at Villa Kois. The house is wonderful, it’s been refurbished to an high quality and has everything you could possibly need, the host was very charming. It is quite remote and you definitely need a car, but we enjoyed the peace this offered.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb auf Kreta war einfach unglaublich schön. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten direkt das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und insgesamt in einem perfekten Zustand. Alles war ordentlich und mit viel Sorgfalt vorbereitet, sodass man sich sofort entspannen konnte. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber. Wir reisen als Gruppe schon seit einiger Zeit gemeinsam und haben bereits viele Airbnbs gebucht, aber so herzlich wurden wir noch nie empfangen. Sowohl die Gastgeber selbst als auch ihre Eltern waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und offen. Zur Begrüßung gab es sogar kleine Leckereien, was uns wirklich positiv überrascht hat. Die gesamte Atmosphäre war sehr familiär und warm. Es hat sich angefühlt, als würden wir uns schon lange kennen, obwohl wir uns vorher nie begegnet sind. Genau das hat diesen Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke!

Boendet var precis lika fint som på bilderna och området var mysigt och charmigt. Alla lokala människor vi mötte var otroligt trevliga och välkomnande. Det finns en fantastisk restaurang cirka 700 meter bort som vi verkligen kan rekommendera. Det är dock väldigt viktigt att ha bil, eftersom det varken finns Uber eller liknande tjänster. Vill man åka taxi behöver man fråga sig fram och boka via lokala kontakter. Vår värd hjälpte oss med detta när vi landade, då vi inte hade bil första dagen – något vi är väldigt tacksamma för. Utöver det var vi supernöjda med vistelsen! Vår värd kom till och med förbi med hemlagad traditionell mat, vilket var en otroligt fin och personlig gest. Rekommenderas varmt!
