In the heart of the charming resort of Grangesises, this ground-floor studio for 4 people makes an idyllic holiday base at any time of year.

In a smart, contemporary residence, this studio is both stylish and practical. The front door opens into an alpine-style living area, with pine furniture and large windows. The room is furnished with a sofa facing a flat-screen TV and a wooden cupboard. The dining table seats 4 people and is next to the kitchenette, which is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, Nespresso machine and fridge.

Sleeping
At the end of the living area, separated by a part wall, there is a double sofa bed.
The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
Grangesises, is a pretty, small-ish resort, just a 5 minute drive from the town of Sestriere. The residence is in the middle of the village, close to the small piazza. There is very little traffic, making it an ideal place for families with children. Grangesises hosts many events throughout the year, from dances to concerts and group mountain bike rides.

Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging, snowshoeing and even an outdoor swimming pool (heated) which is open all year round.

Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming.

There are many great restaurants and bars in Grangesises and Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Turin airport is a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the apartment.
