The Villa delle Meraviglie (the Villa of Wonders), truly lives up to its name! It is a hidden gem in the heart of paradise. The villa is a combination of stylish modern architecture with a traditional trullo set in beautiful private gardens. Sleeping up to 10 people, the villa makes the perfect holiday destination.

Each room is unique, decorated with fine furniture and elegant details. The beautiful, pale stone kitchen/diner in the trullo is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.

In spite of the glorious interiors, guests will spend a lot of time outside in the stunning gardens. These have been created with as much love and attention as inside the villa. The villa is surrounded by centuries-old trees with a soft lawn. Guests will enjoy the large swimming pool, with a hydromassage feature and sloping access for a beachy feel. There are sun loungers and chairs where guests can relax after a refreshing dip. There are several different areas outside for people to enjoy the peace of their surroundings. There is also an outside dining area and BBQ.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: This delightful bedroom is in a Trullo with stone walls and stunning contemporary lighting. Furnished with a double bed, flat-screen TV and a wardrobe it also has an en suite bathroom.
The 4 other bedrooms are more modern but no less stylish and luxurious. Two are on the ground floor and have baths in the bedroom itself. The other two are upstairs and have balconies. All rooms are furnished with double beds, wardrobes and flat-screen TV’s. All of them have en suite bathrooms.

Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: En suite to the Trullo bedroom this bathroom is unique. With stone walls and a free-standing shower, basin, bidet and WC, it also has a private pool where you can truly relax.
The other 4 bathrooms are equipped with showers, basins, bidets and WC’s.

Location
In the heart of glorious countryside just 20 minutes from the Ionian coast, the villa is in an ideal position to explore Salento.

The popular port of Otranto (20 minutes) has been inhabited for millennia. It has some lovely beaches. The town centre offers a taste of “La dolce vita” with a range of restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours.

The city of Lecce (25 minutes) is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping. The main market takes place every Monday and Friday morning and here you can pick up the very best local produce to cook at home.

Golfers will enjoy the two courses near the town of Acaya (30 minutes) or for more exercise and a hike through the unspoiled Mediterranean countryside, there is the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine (25 minutes).

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just 1 hour away by car.
