Simple, functional place 10 min to beach. 1 of 4 condo units
Key points
- 4 units in 2 buildings
- 2 upper and 2 lower units; 1 or 2 flights stairs accordingly
- shared pool bit lower in common area
- Understand units have similar layout - 2 bedroom. 1 master queen? and bathroom, 1 room with 2 double beds, kitchen/living area and outside deck
- We stayed in lower unit - recommend upper unit. We had a great deal of sound from upstairs - seemed to move a lot of furniture at odd hours...(Mgmt - may help to put something on feet of furniture
- AC worked well in all rooms
- Kitchen had sufficient materials for cooking for a family
- water pressure in shower limited and not much heat (but not really a problem)
- basic soap, shampoo, etc included
- bedding and towels good quality
- as expected, some bugs, mostly ants but fairly unavoidable
- occasional power and water outages in town
- around 10 min walk to beach - very dusty in dry season, some hills on the way
- many great restaurants nearby. French bakery is shockingly good
- rent a 4x4 - most any driving will require gravel roads, some mud, occasional river crossing (even in dry season)
