Nestled in the heart of the Perigord Noir forests, less than 10 km from the famous medieval town of Sarlat-de-Canéda, lies Domaine de Carsac, a small and peaceful resort with a pool and tennis court. Here you’ll find our vacation home, Sur la Cave, near the Dordogne River.
Sur la Cave is a spacious vacation home that accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children and has 2 private parking spaces. Our home features several sunny terraces and a beautifully landscaped, fenced-in garden of approximately 300 m². This allows you to fully enjoy your peace and quiet and the natural surroundings.
Our garden shed also contains 2 bicycles and a BBQ, which you are welcome to use free of charge.
On the first floor, you’ll find the living room with a cozy sitting area and a library on a wooden floor, as well as the open kitchen with a practical, partially foldable dining table that seats 6 people. French doors lead out to one of the sunny terraces from both the sitting area and the dining area. The bright bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen. It features a spacious shower stall, a large sink, and a toilet.
The staircase in the living room leads to a double bedroom with two single beds. When you open the French shutters in the morning, you’ll look out over Domaine de Carsac. Above the kitchen is a loft with a double bed and a bunk bed. There’s also a travel crib available for the little ones. You can optionally rent bed linens and towels from us.
The apartment is fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. These include a TV with a satellite receiver, Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee machine, a combination microwave, a ceramic cooktop, electric heating, a washing machine, an ironing board and iron, tennis rackets, bicycles, and a barbecue.
Domaine de Carsac also has plenty to offer sports enthusiasts. For example, you can enjoy free use of the lit swimming pool, which measures approximately 20x10 meters, and the tennis court (tennis rackets are available in our house). In addition, the entire surrounding area is ideal for many activities such as biking, basketball, skating, hiking, running, canoeing, and kayaking. The former railroad tracks have been converted into excellent biking and hiking trails.
