This was the perfect little cabin getaway. Location is perfect and the accommodations are great. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. The back porch is perfect for relaxing and sitting a spell. Perfect place!

Awesome cabin and awesome location. If you love outdoors but aren’t looking to go camping, this is perfect! Waynesville is a small and slow town, with most places closing early in the evening, but it’s a lovely place I will definitely be returning to. Endless views of the mountains every where you go and it is just so awesome.

Cozy Bear Cabin was a delight! We just wished we could have stayed longer. If you like cosy cabins and bear themes and trees and mountain views, don't hesitate, just book. Gloria and Mark were great hosts. We had the pleasure of meeting Mark. We didn't meet Gloria in person but she was very helpful with our queries beforehand and making sure we had detailed instructions to find and enter the cabin. We were very touched by the personal welcome message she left us.We found all the facilities to be really good. Lots of folk have mentioned how gorgeous it is to sit out on the porch but we'd like to mention that the interior furniture is also really comfy! Thank you Gloria and Mark for making our stay memorable. We hope we might visit again one day.

Great communication with owners, property was clean and exactly as described. Asked about access and driveway for a Harley and she answered right away. They have 2 cabins both equally beautiful. Definitely will stay here again.

We loved the "Bear Cabin". The cabin was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck with the view of the mountains. Great location being close to Clyde and Waynesville, NC. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The Host was very informative and would be available if needed.

The cabin is very clean, has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, and is cozy like its name. We can tell Gloria and Mark care very much about their guests' experience, from thoughtful decoration to informative guides in the welcome folder and taking the time to call us to give detailed instructions to access to cabin. The location is quiet and peaceful, with view of the mountain from the balcony. We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more cabin time!

This was not our first stay in this cabin but it was the first time staying under the new hosts. Communication was excellent and efficient. The cabin was immaculate! Everything was just as it was portrayed in the photos. We throughly enjoyed our time having breakfast on the porch every morning and in the afternoons relaxing with a beverage. The proximity to town is great as well. It truly felt like coming home. We would recommend this cabin to any couple and we will definitely be back!! The hosts have done a great job maintaining this property and their hard work shines!

We are Gloria and Mark Ray, we love to vacation in this country's beautiful National Parks. In fact, after a vacation to the Smoky Mountain National Park more than 15 years ago, we both fell in love with the mountains of Western North Carolina and started making our plan to spend more time here. After many visits and much searching, we discovered these two cozy cabins and decided this would be the location for our second act career.

We spent many years vacationing in this area and have traversed many roads throughout Haywood County. We fell in love with the location of this property because it is private with many trees and conveniently located ( only 3 miles to downtown Waynesville) off of a paved county road with a paved access road to the cabins. We also like being located near Smoky Mountain National Park, accessible to hiking, rafting, waterfalls, biking etc.

Cozy Cabin Lane is located off of a paved county road that takes you to an elevation of 3,000 ft. which is conducive to beautiful mountain views by day and viewing the sparking lights of Waynesville by night. Only a 3 mile drive to the town of Waynesville that offers all the amenities a wandering traveler could want. The property has (2) one bedroom, one bath log frame cabins name "Bear" & "Deer" with themed décor. They were built for your travel enjoyment to experience the area and all the mountains have to offer. We hope to see you soon to enjoy our little piece of Western North Carolina. We have a private driveway leading to the cabins and each cabin has it's own 2 car parking area. The cabins are located approximately 100' apart but are separated amongst the forest of trees in between and around the property. There are family farms nearby so it is not unusual to hear a rooster crow in the morning or cows moo'ing during the day! This is a great option for family and/or friends traveling together but wanting their own private cabin. It is a special treat vacationing this close with nature and having modern conveniences available to suit everyone's idea of the perfect mountain vacation. Some amenities vary but we are sure you will find what you're looking for in either of our “Bear” or “Deer” Cozy Cabins.
After many months of waiting for county permits we now have Spectrum wireless Wi-Fi at both cabins and YouTube TV streaming is provided.
