Retreat to the perfect getaway for rest and relaxation at Tranquility Cabin located in Maggie Valley, NC. Enjoy year round views from over 3600' elevation from the quiet rocking porch overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. This two bedroom cabin includes a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with 2 beds. The open living and dining space is a great space for everyone to gather. There is a sofa bed available in the living room.

Tranquility Cabin is a two bedroom cabin than accommodate up to 6 guests. The master bedroom includes a memory foam king sized mattress with an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds with direct access to the other full bathroom. The open living space includes space for everyone to sit, a wood burning fireplace, a dining area, and well stocked kitchen. Spend your days relaxing on the front porch watching for birds, elks, and other animals passing through!

Guests have complete access to Tranquility Cabin.

We typically interact with guests through the messaging system but also available by phone or in person if needed.

Tranquility Cabin is located off of Soco Rd. / Hwy. 19. There is a steep gravel driveway to access the home that is shared by a small number of neighbors. While 4 wheel drive is not required, it can be helpful.

A vehicle is required to get around.
• No smoking
• No parties or events
• Check-in is anytime after 4 pm
• Quiet time from 10 pm - 8 am
• $75 per pet fee for any pets staying on the property

Left after first night

Could be a nice property but carpet is badly stained & it smells. Arrived after dark & key pad did not work so had to call for help to get in. No problem reaching him, though. Living room, kitchen & porch are nice, but bedrooms-where carpet is have a stench. We stayed because it was late when we arrived, but left the next day. I wouldn't even let my little dog walk on the carpet. No wifi or tv as stated. There are tvs there but with no wifi connection, we got nothing. Very disappointing all around.

Seeing live elk up close for 1st time was fantastic.

Our stay was verry pleasant considering we were there for working on my brothers house. Next time want to just relax and enjoy the animals. Great views from the cabin. Cecil.

Wonderful Cabin....quite neighbor hood.....nice view...lovely homeowners!

We enjoyed our stay ...the cabin was great ...check in process great..great view....owners have really made it very welcoming...with condiments in fridge...salt pepper and seasoning in cabinet! Bathrooms stocked with plenty of clean towels and wash cloths...body wash...shampoo and conditioner. There was an awesome place over looking the mountain with a fire pit and a grill to cook on..There was a bag charcoal and fire wood left for us. Just the little details are great! That being said there are only a couple of things that we where not happy with..the bed in master bedroom was not very comfortable..it was just ok..some type of foam topper was over mattress i guess to cover up an old mattress, but it was so squishy that you just sink into it. The next thing was the night stand in the second bedroom needs to anchored in some way its very top heavy and not safe for kids my 15 month old held to the side, and the whole table fell over on him...also there needs to be a TV in that bedroom! lol...the last thing was the recliner has seen better days...not comfortable at all and once you lean back in it..you are trapped..lol I didnt think that I was going to get out..it took all my strength to put the leg rest down so i could get up...this recliner is the best spot in the house because it is centered right where you can see the beautiful mountain view...This spot deserves a new recliner! Not to end on a bad note I would so recommend this cabin and will surely be back when we visit Maggie Valley I am still giving a 5 star...

Tranquil

It was a very Tranquil, peaceful stay here. Place was very clean. Looks are deceiving driving in but this place was great. We got to see elk without leaving to find them. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Over the Hill Gang

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for us. It felt like home, very comfortable. Although we didn’t cook any there, it was fully equipped. We enjoyed plenty of coffee & the beautiful view. We came down to enjoy the Elk heard viewing in the valley and had great success. We plan on coming back in the future!

What a charming, comfortable, clean and peaceful atmosphere. The view of the mountains is beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our vacation in tranquility.

One problem

If not for the bugs would have been 4-5 stars But bugs in kitchen cabinets on counter sink floor gave me the creeps started to leave the first night. Need someone to get rid of them baby bugs infested on front door lnside Get rid of them we would be glad to stay there great place price good. Would be 5 stars no problem
