Fantastic villa

The host was very friendly and the check-in at the villa straight forward. The villa itself was very well equipped and charming. It is a very secured and quiet place, perfect for a retreat and to enjoy your vacation with family and friends. You have everything you need at the villa to be fully autonomous. The host also made sure we had enough food for breakfast and snacks for the first day until we could go grocery shopping. The location is great, you do not have sea view but you are 4 minutes from it. Instead, you are in the middle of an olive farm, and it is very charming. Highly recommend this place.

Couldn’t fault it!

Firstly fantastic service from Think Villa, they were extremely thorough, friendly, and accommodating. We had a small issue with the pool filter, which they arranged for someone to come out within the hour and it was sorted. The villa is gorgeous. The grounds, even more so. It is a brilliant set up if you were two families / groups. The upstairs is identical to downstairs, with stairs connecting the two from the outside. We were a family of four with two young children, so we decided to use just the downstairs and the children shared a bedroom, not an issue at all for us, but something to consider. We were blown away with how lovely the gardens are, immaculately kept. And the pool was great. We chose this villa for the toddler section of the pool so our 3 year old could happily reach, and 8 month old could splash about. Unfortunately, the toddler section was about 2 inches too deep for our daughter to reach, but we had a float and she wasn’t hindered by it. There is a wall separating the two pools, which she had great fun jumping off of, and the baby could sit on splashing. There’s two tables outside which could seat 20 ish people, great for a big party! Not to mention no neighbours so you didn’t have to worry about noise levels. I would have liked a lounge area outside, the grounds are huge, they could definitely fit something in, just a small suggestion! Also be wary of ants! Have some spray ready!!

Super Urlaub mit leichten Mängeln

Riesen Grundstück mit schönem Pool, super angelegt, total abgeschieden…. Haus ist in 2 Wohnungen aufgeteilt, beide gleich ausgestattet und etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber grundsätzlich i.O. Nur die Bäder gehen überhaupt nicht, viel zu klein und duschen kann man nur in der Hocke, will man nicht alles fluten. Das Haus ist total hellhörig, man hört aus der anderen Wohnung jedes Wort und auch alles andere ;-)

Tolles Haus, super freundliche Gastgeber, Umgebung ausbaufähig

Das Haus ist toll. Wir waren zu neunt und hatten reichlich Platz. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Nur die Umgebung des Hauses ist noch nicht wirklich erschlossen und der Weg dahin ist abenteuerlich. Aber einmal angekommen eine wahre Oase.

Traumhafte Villa zwischen dem Meer und den Bergen Norkretas.

Diese Villa ist ein Traum. Eine ruhige Lage in den Olivenhainen mit Blick auf die Berge zeichnen dieses Haus aus. Zum Strand sind es mit dem Fahrrad 10 Minuten. Am Haus kann man grillen und Pizza backen. Der Pool sorgt für eine angenehme Abkühlung bei heissen Temperaturen und wird täglich gereinigt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Wunderschöner Urlaub!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Joanna! Der Eigentümer war sehr zuvorkommend und hat alles getan, damit wir uns wohl fühlen. An einem Abend hatten wir einen Stromausfall und er kam noch mitten in der Nacht mit einem Elektriker, um uns zu helfen! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Perfekt!

Grossartiges Haus mit einem riesigen Grundstück und tollem Pool. Völlige alleinlage und dennoch nur wenige autominuten vom Meer. Bei unserer Anreise waren beide Kühlschränke mit den nötigsten Lebensmitteln und Getränken gefüllt - super Service. Einmal die Woche gab es eine Reinigung inkl. Laken- und handtuchwechsel. Schöner, großer beschatteter aussengrillplatz, sogar mit pizza-ofen! Sehr großer überdachter aussentisch, reichlich Pool-liegen mit Sonnenschirmen und extra Badetücher. Als "Mitbewohner" kommt regelmäßig ein pfau vom nachbargrundstück zu besuch... sehr schön - aber auch durchaus laut. Minimales manko: bei der grösse des Hauses ist es nicht nachvollziehbar und unverständlich, dass die beiden Badezimmer so klein sind. Aber nicht ernsthaft ein Problem. Fazit: Eine (nahezu) perfekte Unterkunft!

Private Villa within Olive Trees and Mountain View

Easy communication with agency and landlord. Super friendly and welcoming! House was equipped already with basics (food, detergents,...). Regular pool and garden service provided - all clean! Due to flight cancelling we were stuck, was easy to stay one day longer. Beach in walking distance 25 minutes off-road, recommend driving with 4WD. We stayed with 6 family members, house can host 10, recommend Max 8 adults if you like your privacy. Will visit again!!!

Beautiful villa with outstanding outside area.

We had a fantastic two week stay in this beautiful villa. The pool, garden and BBQ area are perfect. There is a huge amount of space to enjoy and relax in. Inside there is plenty of room and the two separate apartments worked perfectly for our group of two families. Every question we asked was answered instantly and minor issues were rectified immediately. The villa is 5 minutes drive from a charming town with plenty of restaurants and bars. Thanks for a fantastic holiday!

Toller Familienurlaub...

Ganz tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir (10 Familienmitglieder im Alter von 7-77 Jahren) haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wer Abgeschiedenheit mag, ist hier genau richtig

Wir waren mit 9 Freunden in der Villa untergebracht. Wir waren etwas verwundert, als wir den Feldweg gesehen haben, der zur Villa führt, aber am Ende stand eine tolle Villa mit viel Platz und einer super Außenanlage. Da man inmitten von Feldern wohnt, stört man auch niemanden, wenn man bis in die Nacht draußen sitzt und Musik hört. Poolboy, Reinigungspersonal und Gärtner - alle sehr freundlich! In der Woche wurden unsere Handtücher und Bettwäsche erneuert - wunderbar! Leider ist man ohne Mietwagen aufgeschmissen, da die Villa doch etwas außerhalb liegt. Aber wenn man sich selbst verpflegt, ist das denke ich bei den meisten Urlaubern sowieso ein Muss. Panormos (das nächstgelegene Städtchen) ist allerdings auch in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und dort gibt es wunderschöne Straßen, gutes Essen und einen tollen Strand. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub!

Wonderful Family Holiday

The villa is very much for living and eating outside which is what we do on holidays. A great Pool, BBQ and eating area with a huge garden. Kid lived the table tennis table! All very well maintained. We lived outside until the early hours every day so perfect for us. The views of the mountains are stunning. The inside of the villa is slightly odd. The upstairs and the downstairs are exactly the same. The lighting is poor and it is pretty dark. There has been no real love taken to the inside of the villa like there has been outside. A couple of things to be aware of. If you are downstairs the noise transmission is really bad. You can here everything that is going on upstairs very loudly! Also the beds are really uncomfortable they are rock hard. So we all had and bad backs quickly. However it did not affect what a great holiday we had. The team from Demetri the contact there was extremely helpful and his team of cleaners could never do enough. If you are looking for sunshine and a beautiful setting this is perfect.

Positiv: Die Villa ist wunderschön, Küche recht gut ausgestattet. die defekte Kaffeemaschine wurde von dem Host Dimitris sofort nach Beanstandung ausgetauscht, schön dekoriert und ausgestattet, Klimaanlagen funktionieren perfekt und werden trotz 30 Grad Außentemperatur nicht wirklich benötigt. Der Außenbereich ist riesig und für Kinder perfekt, da komplett umzäunt. Sowohl Pizzaofen als auch Grill wurden verwendet und sind in Ordnung, Neutral: Das Pool sowie das Duschwasser sind leider sehr sandig, somit sind täglich Unmengen an Sand in der Badewanne und natürlich auch im Pool. Stromausfälle (aber das ist auf Kreta offensichtlich normal laut Host) Negativ: Absolut negativ hervorzuheben und mir unerklärlich ist der Lärm. Wieso die Lautstärke der (zumindest laut Google Maps garnicht so naheliegenden Straße) als auch der Nachbarshunde (und Hähne und Pfauen) nicht in einer Bewertung erwähnt wurden, ist mir ein Rätsel. Der Straßenlärm ist zwar erträglich und nimmt meist nur gegen Abend zu, wenn viele der laut knatternden Mopeds unterwegs sind, aber er ist dennoch da (wenngleich wäre das kein Grund zur Beanstandung für mich). Die Hunde des Nachbarn (soweit wir beurteilen konnten sind es 3) jedoch beginnen um 22 Uhr zu Bellen und halten es bis 6 in der Früh durch. Dann werden diese durch den Hahn und den Pfau ersetzt und es geht noch bis halb 8 weiter. Man kann zwar Schlafen aber wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat oder gerade am Einschlafen ist, durchaus störend. Sehr positiv: Die Betreuung durch Valia und den Host Dimitris. Zwar gab es einige Mängel und Kritikpunkte, diese wurden aber sofort und mit Vehemenz gelöst. Dimitris ist durchgehend erreichbar, reagiert innerhalb von 5 Minuten auf eine Nachricht und kommt, wenn es nötig ist, innerhalb von 20 Minuten zur Villa und kümmert sich darum. Das Thema der Hunde wurde von ihm nach einigen Tagen auch "gelöst", der Nachbar musste die Hunde umquartieren (es wurden zwar nur 2 umquartiert und der verbleibende Hund war danach so traurig dass sein Bellen in ein Heulen umschwenkte....) aber es war offensichtlich, dass FEWO und dem Host der Gast wichtig ist. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub, ein sehr schönes Objekt und ohne Lärm ein absolutes 5 Sterne Paradies.

Tolle Villa. Super sauber und top eingerichtet. Leider hatten wir 2 Tage Probleme mit dem Pool, da ein Defekt vorlag . Aber der Vermieter war sehr bemüht es schnellstmöglich wieder zu richten. Gerne wieder 👍

Sehr schönes Haus mit sauberem Pool. Ruhige Lage und trotzdem nur 5min zum Strand. Top ausgestattet. Vom Klopapier übers Spüli bis Waschpulver. Alles da! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Perfect holiday with the best support/management team ever

We have just returned as a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) from our two-week stay in this wonderful villa. Both the grounds and villa were immaculate and the welcome package was the most comprehensive we've every had upon arrival. The local contact Dimitris was only ever a WhatsApp away if we needed him and he ensured that we had all that we needed. As an example (and I know it's not the Greek way) but we wanted some traditional wine glasses - he sourced 18 of them and delivered them a couple of days later. You do not need to purchase toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and many other items as they provide those. If you're running out before the next cleaning visit just WhatsApp and they will replenish. This was a surprise to us as with every other villa we've rented through Owners Direct/Home Away we've had to provide/replace those items. The team who look after housekeeping came a couple of times a week and did the most fantastic job and were also a great source of reference for where to find the best butchers (for BBQ meat) and other useful pieces of information. The groundskeepers turned up twice during our stay and ensured that the grounds remained in perfect condition and were as good as the photos show. Towards the end we were informed that the owners wife would like to cook us a meal which I would highly recommend. Manolis (the owner) turned up with his son and Dimitris holding a huge home-made Moussaka (still warm and fresh from the over) along with a wonderful Greek Salad and two fresh loaves of warm bread. With a smill and a handshake they left us to enjoy a wonderful meal which we had to finish the next day for lunch due to the size of it (We were a party of 8!). I cannot fault anything with this villa and the couple of small issues we encountered were rectified immediately. The location is perfect being remote yet only 5 minutes drive (car is essential) from the local town of Panormos where you can get fresh bread each day from the bakery and visit a selection of the wonderful tavernas. The only thing we found to be missing was both a comments book and visitors guide which would have been useful. However the information we obtained from the on-site manager and housekeeping staff gave us all that we needed. We cannot recommend this highly enough and will certainly be back as soon as we can. You will not be disappointed
