Great stay !

Amazing property, comfortable, clean and welcoming. We had a lot of pleasure meeting the owner who offered an incredible dinner made of meat in a wood oven ! Spacious and comfortable, the villa has two generous apartments that we warmly recommend for couples or families. We also enjoyed the proximity of the sea and the village, just 5 minutes from the villa. The restaurants there are also attractive ! 5 stars ! Thank you Valia for your mini guide to the region, we really appreciated it !

Fantastic villa

The host was very friendly and the check-in at the villa straight forward. The villa itself was very well equipped and charming. It is a very secured and quiet place, perfect for a retreat and to enjoy your vacation with family and friends. You have everything you need at the villa to be fully autonomous. The host also made sure we had enough food for breakfast and snacks for the first day until we could go grocery shopping. The location is great, you do not have sea view but you are 4 minutes from it. Instead, you are in the middle of an olive farm, and it is very charming. Highly recommend this place.

Family holiday of a lifetime!

My family, consisting of four adults and two young children, had the pleasure of staying a the villa for a week. The villa is perfect for extended family and the garden and pool provided a relaxing week for the adults, whilst plenty to keep the kids happy. The location is superb being only a few mins drive from the local supermarket and 5 mins into the beautiful coastal town of Panormo. Both Manolis and Dimitris made us feel very welcome and done everything to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. A highlight of our stay was enjoying a delicious meal Manolis provided for us. It topped off what was already a magical holiday in a wonderful villa. Highly recommended!

simplemente perfecta!

We spent a week in October in this amazing house. It is spotlessly clean and well-appointed, has a beautiful and well maintained garden and a lovely swimmingpool. Dimitris, the caretaker, was very attentive and answered all our questions and inquiries always with a smile. We love the location of the house. It is so quite, in the middle of olive trees, without neighbours, but very close to Panormos, a quiet and idyllic small town with plenty of restaurants and cafés. A special thank to Valia for her invaluable help, kindness and professionalism. We will definitely come back!

Great private villa for a group of friends or family!

We visited in the winter, so were unable to fully enjoy the beautiful pool and yard, which are no doubt spectacular in the warmer months! We did walk and run on the dirt roads through the surrounding olive groves - beautiful! The villa is a short drive to Rethymos and less than one hour from Heraklion and Chania. We did numerous gorgeous hikes which were all a short drive from the villa. The photos are indeed representative of a well kept and well appointed property. . . very comfortable. I would certainly consider returning! Very accomodating property manager!! Good directions for finding the location!

Great villa in a beautiful part of Crete

The villa was an amazing find. It's in a great part of Crete, near Mount Ida and the mountain villages, as well as the seaside resorts. There is a lot of space around the villa. A great lawn for the kids to play football, as well as the pool and large patio area. It is very private, overlooked by no other house. Olive groves all around. Great walks nearby with amazing views to the mountain and coast. Dimitri was very helpful and he was very keen to help out if ever we had a problem. I thoroughly recommend this villa. The inside of the villa was well furnished and traditional in style. We stayed in the Easter when the days were warm but the nights cool, and Dimitri left us with a supply of logs so we had a log fire each night. We loved our stay here and fell in love with Crete as well!

A fantastic villa set in a beautiful , quiet location.

We would highly recommend staying at this stunning villa. We were a family of 7, with our daughters bringing their boyfriends. Having two floors, both with a lounge and kitchen, along with the two bedrooms worked beautifully, to enable us to have our own space. The pool area and comfortable sun beds made it very difficult to tear ourselves away! We had lots of fun making pizzas in the outdoor oven, and the BBQ was used often. The huge tables and chairs were great for outside dining and card playing. The villa was spotlessly clean, and the maid came mid week. We had great fun driving to the local villages and further afield, with loads to see and do. From the moment of booking we found the communication to be second to none. Any questions were answered immediately, and driving instructions and ideas of places to go we’re spot on. Thank you for a wonderful holiday xx

Amazing!!

This Villa does not Disappoint!!! We were a group of 7 males and females in our mid 20's after a relaxing break and we certainly found that!! The villa is completely as pictured and stunning. Its in a very secluded location with a short drive to the local village (car necessary). It was the perfect base to explore the island and the beautiful coastline/beaches it has to offer. However with the setting of the villa so lovely we were also happy to stay at home and relax by the pool, listening to music, enjoying a drink with friends. One evening we were entertained by the Owner of the villa who with no other motive other than to help us enjoy our stay cooked us a delicious Lamb Roast and then ate dinner with us (don't think i've eaten anything as tasty since). We hope that they enjoyed our drinking game with the cups!! There is nothing i can fault with this villa.... it was perfect and i very much hope to return to it someday.

Wonderful Crete

During our stay on the island of Crete we had the pleasure of staying at Villa Ioanna. After picking up our car at the airport we made way to the house where the owner, mr. Manolis was waiting with his companion and manager Dimitri. The drive way towards the house was a very rough path and we were all thinking where in heavens name are we?...but just around the corner was the house situated. A lovely house with a beautiful garden and with not one other house in a 200m radius. During our week we had no problems what so ever and everything was easy to reach by car. Supermarket, beaches etc. We had the awesome experience of baking and cooking in the outside kitchen with wood-oven for homemade pizzas. One day mr Manolis even brought over a huge plate of Mousaka for us to enjoy and some traditional homemade Cretan treats...oh what a feast it was. I can definitely without hesitation recommend anyone to stay in this house. Thank you for everything mr. Manolis and Dimitri for making our stay even more memorable. The Wirtz family.

Couldn’t fault it!

Firstly fantastic service from Think Villa, they were extremely thorough, friendly, and accommodating. We had a small issue with the pool filter, which they arranged for someone to come out within the hour and it was sorted. The villa is gorgeous. The grounds, even more so. It is a brilliant set up if you were two families / groups. The upstairs is identical to downstairs, with stairs connecting the two from the outside. We were a family of four with two young children, so we decided to use just the downstairs and the children shared a bedroom, not an issue at all for us, but something to consider. We were blown away with how lovely the gardens are, immaculately kept. And the pool was great. We chose this villa for the toddler section of the pool so our 3 year old could happily reach, and 8 month old could splash about. Unfortunately, the toddler section was about 2 inches too deep for our daughter to reach, but we had a float and she wasn’t hindered by it. There is a wall separating the two pools, which she had great fun jumping off of, and the baby could sit on splashing. There’s two tables outside which could seat 20 ish people, great for a big party! Not to mention no neighbours so you didn’t have to worry about noise levels. I would have liked a lounge area outside, the grounds are huge, they could definitely fit something in, just a small suggestion! Also be wary of ants! Have some spray ready!!

Super Urlaub mit leichten Mängeln

Riesen Grundstück mit schönem Pool, super angelegt, total abgeschieden…. Haus ist in 2 Wohnungen aufgeteilt, beide gleich ausgestattet und etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber grundsätzlich i.O. Nur die Bäder gehen überhaupt nicht, viel zu klein und duschen kann man nur in der Hocke, will man nicht alles fluten. Das Haus ist total hellhörig, man hört aus der anderen Wohnung jedes Wort und auch alles andere ;-)

Tolles Haus, super freundliche Gastgeber, Umgebung ausbaufähig

Das Haus ist toll. Wir waren zu neunt und hatten reichlich Platz. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Nur die Umgebung des Hauses ist noch nicht wirklich erschlossen und der Weg dahin ist abenteuerlich. Aber einmal angekommen eine wahre Oase.

Traumhafte Villa zwischen dem Meer und den Bergen Norkretas.

Diese Villa ist ein Traum. Eine ruhige Lage in den Olivenhainen mit Blick auf die Berge zeichnen dieses Haus aus. Zum Strand sind es mit dem Fahrrad 10 Minuten. Am Haus kann man grillen und Pizza backen. Der Pool sorgt für eine angenehme Abkühlung bei heissen Temperaturen und wird täglich gereinigt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Wunderschöner Urlaub!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Joanna! Der Eigentümer war sehr zuvorkommend und hat alles getan, damit wir uns wohl fühlen. An einem Abend hatten wir einen Stromausfall und er kam noch mitten in der Nacht mit einem Elektriker, um uns zu helfen! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Perfekt!

Grossartiges Haus mit einem riesigen Grundstück und tollem Pool. Völlige alleinlage und dennoch nur wenige autominuten vom Meer. Bei unserer Anreise waren beide Kühlschränke mit den nötigsten Lebensmitteln und Getränken gefüllt - super Service. Einmal die Woche gab es eine Reinigung inkl. Laken- und handtuchwechsel. Schöner, großer beschatteter aussengrillplatz, sogar mit pizza-ofen! Sehr großer überdachter aussentisch, reichlich Pool-liegen mit Sonnenschirmen und extra Badetücher. Als "Mitbewohner" kommt regelmäßig ein pfau vom nachbargrundstück zu besuch... sehr schön - aber auch durchaus laut. Minimales manko: bei der grösse des Hauses ist es nicht nachvollziehbar und unverständlich, dass die beiden Badezimmer so klein sind. Aber nicht ernsthaft ein Problem. Fazit: Eine (nahezu) perfekte Unterkunft!

Private Villa within Olive Trees and Mountain View

Easy communication with agency and landlord. Super friendly and welcoming! House was equipped already with basics (food, detergents,...). Regular pool and garden service provided - all clean! Due to flight cancelling we were stuck, was easy to stay one day longer. Beach in walking distance 25 minutes off-road, recommend driving with 4WD. We stayed with 6 family members, house can host 10, recommend Max 8 adults if you like your privacy. Will visit again!!!

Beautiful villa with outstanding outside area.

We had a fantastic two week stay in this beautiful villa. The pool, garden and BBQ area are perfect. There is a huge amount of space to enjoy and relax in. Inside there is plenty of room and the two separate apartments worked perfectly for our group of two families. Every question we asked was answered instantly and minor issues were rectified immediately. The villa is 5 minutes drive from a charming town with plenty of restaurants and bars. Thanks for a fantastic holiday!
