Great location

We only stayed a few days as it was a last minute getaway but we were absolutely delighted with the house. It's very comfortable and very convenient for all the amenities in Rhosniger, yet in a quiet location with a large driveway for parking. The shop is at the end of the road, the beach is a couple of minutes walk. I would definitely recommend!

Great weeks stay in Cae Cloc. In a great location and lovely home with a great garden to relax in. Close to the beach and Rhosneigr village but private and quiet.

Great,comfortable house in central location.

We stayed here for 2 weeks as 2 adults with our adult daughter visiting for a few days with her baby .Very comfortable house with everything we needed for our stay.We very much enjoyed the central location and secure garden which was a sun trap and great to have comfortable loungers. Great to have an outside tap and good area outside for drying wet kit . Our only comment would be that the fridge is small ,a larger fridge freezer would be a great benefit especially if the house is at full capacity or you want to do a larger fridge freezer shop to avoid multiple shopping trips. Many thanks to the owners for making this lovely house available to rent on the holiday market and we would definitely book again.

Rhosneigr Vacation

Excellent property in an excellent location. Good amenities within the property. Excellent garden area for us and our two dogs. We have booked to return in October. Improvements that could be made are: Wooden garden furniture needed treating. Fridge was on the small side and under the worktop. Property would benefit from a large upright fridge.

Our stay in September

Beautiful presented property in an excellent location for beach, shops and restaurants. The property was very clean and homely with everything needed for our stay, we all enjoyed sitting in back garden and so much room for the dogs to play. Hope to return next year.

Centrally located home from home

Could not fault our stay at Cae Cloc, fantastic location close to bars, shops, restaurants and the beach. The house itself was like a home from home, very cosy with everything we needed, the enclosed garden was ideal for the dog, We enjoyed our stay so much we’ve booked again for next year, I think that speaks for itself.

Short break

Cae Cloc is a great house in a fantastic position pretty much in the centre of Rhosneigr. House is well equipped and has a great outdoor space with a large patio and Astro turfed garden. The decking at the back of the garden gives a nice sunny seated area. Says it sleeps six (which it does if you include the bunk beds) but it would be a squeeze in the living area if there were four adults and two children. The mattresses in both the double bedrooms could do with an update or at least a new comfy topper. If you’re going for water sports there’s loads of room for your gear outside and there is a downstairs shower room as you come in for Sandy toes. It is a lovely cosy home and the position is fabulous for the beach and the restaurants.

A wonderful stay

We had a fantastic week at Cae Cloc. The location was great, weather amazing and house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Very comfortable stay with lots of homely touches. Wet room was really useful after the beach. Can’t wait to visit again!

Perfect little get-away

Great value for money with this gorgeous little house. Perfect for small family with two really comfy king sized beds and a ( very) small box room containing decent bunks. We were a little disappointed with the storage facilities as there were no wardrobes, however the small units in the bedroom held a decent amount of ' hanging ' space ( note: bring your own hangers) Absolutely fabulous garden space. All enclosed which is perfect for dog owners. Best of all is the location. Perfect for local bars / restaurants, and only 5 minute stroll to the beach. We had a lovely week and will be back

Amazing stay!

We’ve just arrived home from an amazing week at Cae Cloc. The house is calm, clean and in a great location. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms and kitchen are in need of refurbishment and attention to detail is needed, such as limescale in the shower heads stopping them from working properly and the extractor fan out of order. There is also very limited space to unpack your clothes meaning that you live out of your bag for most of the week. The only other aspect to mention is that the loft hatch is above the head side of the bunk bed in the small room which made our 4 year old uncomfortable as on the top bunk it’s very close to your head. All in all we had the most amazing time at Cae Cloc!

Good accommodation, centrally located

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was better than average and in an excellent central location, just a five-minute walk from the beach with easy access to local shops, pubs and everything else we needed. The only thing that could have improved it would have been a sea view! Despite being so close to everything, the property was incredibly quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, making it a lovely place to switch off and relax. There was off-road parking for two average-sized vehicles, which was a real bonus, and the enclosed rear garden was a fantastic size. Our dog absolutely loved it and, if he’d had the choice, would probably still be out there now. Inside, the property was clean, well maintained and generally in very good condition. The kitchen and dining area were spacious and well equipped, while the living room was cosy, comfortable and welcoming after a day out exploring. The ground-floor wet room was particularly handy after walks or trips to the beach, and the upstairs bathroom was modern, clean and well presented. To keep the review balanced, there were a few small maintenance jobs that would make an already good property even better. The freezer could do with a defrost, the upstairs bathroom sink took its time draining (it may just need a little TLC), and there were a few scuff marks on some of the paintwork. They’re all fairly minor points and certainly didn’t spoil our stay. We’ve stayed in plenty of holiday homes over the years where the list would have been much longer! One thing that’s worth mentioning for anyone unfamiliar with the area is that you do occasionally hear RAF jets overhead during the day. They’re only intermittent and, for us at least, they certainly didn’t detract from the peaceful atmosphere or the relaxing holiday we had. If anything, they became part of the local character. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money and had everything we needed for an enjoyable week away. We’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful base within easy walking distance of the beach and local amenities.

Unsuitable for 6

Lovely property with a great garden for the dogs ( astroturf) Unfortunately there were a few issues which weren't resolved by the team - Extractor fan not working, rusty and unsafe garden loungers ( removed and not replaced) The property was ok for 3 - 4 people, but the 3rd bedroom has bunks with no space for anything else. There is no real storage for clothes in any of the rooms, only bedside cabinets and a very small rack with 3 hangers. The lounge is overcrowded to create 6 seating spaces. The mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable. I'd not return unless things are changed. Its not a property for 6 and is therefore not being priced correctly. We loved the location, but it's not suitable for 6.

For clarity, the details of the room configuration are listed on our website, including that the third bedroom is furnished with bunk beds.
