The property is situated on the outskirts of Gorenja Vas pri Šmarjeti a small village located in southeastern Slovenia. The region is renowned for its viticulture and visitors can explore local vineyards and wineries (Vinska klet Colnar winery is a 15-minute drive) to sample wine and learn about the winemaking process.

For those seeking more relaxation the Šmarješke Toplice thermal baths is a 7-minute drive away and the Grad Otočec golf course is approximately a 13-minute drive away. Another popular excursion is a day trip to Slovenia’s capital city Ljubljana (a 50-minute drive) where visitors can explore the historic Old Town and visit cultural attractions such as Ljubljana Castle and the Triple Bridge. The nearest restaurant and supermarket are in Šmarjeta a 4-minute drive away.
