Welcome to this unique 18th-century half-timbered house, a home rich in history and full of charm that still shines today. This is where “Lunsingahuset” welcomes you – a name that carries memories from the world’s very first art trail back in 1968. Step onto the spacious plot in the village, where the landscape opens up with fields stretching out to the right. Crossing the threshold of this house is like stepping back in time. The beautiful stone floors and wooden beams immediately catch your eye. Ceiling height is somewhat lower in certain places, about 180 cm under the beams – something to be aware of. The house offers 5 sleeping places divided between two bedrooms: one with a double bed and a bunk bed, and the other a sleeping loft for two. The cozy living room on the ground floor invites you to relax, perhaps with freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, and a good book. The kitchen and dining area are conveniently located near the entrance. The toilet is next to one of the bedrooms, while the shower is in the outdoor shower with hot water. Through the various windows you’ll enjoy beautiful views that invite tranquility and reflection. Welcome to a home where history lives on. Please respect the private areas within the house. If you’d like to go on excursions, this location is perfect. You’ll find stunning beaches along the coast – Juleboda Beach, Haväng, and Vitemölla to name a few. Nearby are lovely restaurants such as Solgården and Café Boule, both highly appreciated. For shopping, dining, or simply strolling, you have Ystad, Simrishamn, and Tomelilla within reach. A very famous café in the area, “Olof Viktors,” comes highly recommended. Also worth a visit are Gamla Bageriet – Örnahusen, Fredrik på Eklaholm, and Glimmingehus. A short drive away you’ll find Ales Stenar, Kåseberga, and much more. For children, there is plenty to explore: Skåne Zoo, Ystad Zoo, Tosselilla Sommarland, and more. You can even take the ferry from Ystad to Bornholm. Take the chance to fish in Skåne’s wonderful lakes – Vombsjön and many others are just a short drive away.
