Enjoy the best of French country life in this meticulously renovated 18th century home with shaded terraces, a quiet garden and a large pool adjoining the vineyards in a famous wine village. The view from the 2nd floor terrace overlooking the vineyards is inspiring. The pool, petanque terrain aand part of the garden are shared with our second house which is of similar size and also leased out for holiday guests, most of whom return each year for longer and longer stays.
All your daily needs can be furnished within a short stroll to village centre and there are numerous excellent restaurants and cellar doors nearby. A fully equipped kitchen permits you to cook the wonderful ingrediants from local shops or markets. An elegant selection of glasses, plates and table linen encourages entertaining.
Original features of this 18th century vingeron's home have been retained with state of the art modern bathrooms and kitchen. Antique furniture blends easily with comfortable sofas and beds. Original art works decorate the walls.

Meursault is a pretty town and is nicely located for a 5 day stay in the region. The house is a very nice property and was comfortable for the 5 of us. It was lovely to have a pool and even though we stayed in September we used it as the water was kept at a very agreeable temperature. Being close to the village center was a real asset though of course the opening and closing times are always a puzzle especially if you are used to 8 to 8 ( or later) shopping. We dined at 2 restaurants both were very good. One was new- Terre and the other was in Hotel Globe both were upscale. Lots of Caves and Bar au Vin for wine tasting and Beaune is a short drive for more shopping and restaurant choices. Delfin, the host during our stay. was available and helpful as needed. One caveat: the property is a duplex . While we were there no one occupied the other section of the house and no one to share the pool with so we were very pleased to have the privacy.

We are an Australian family with interests in wine and food. We spend a lot of time in France with family here but like to share our French home when we are on the other side of the world.

Burgundy is world renowned for its wine and food. The landscape is beautiful and there is an enormous number of chateaux, scenic villages and countryside to discover. It is central, with great transport links so side trips are easy .

この宿泊施設の特徴

This is a home that is enjoyed by us for several months every year. It is fully equipped for comfortable, relaxed life and entertaining. The private house garden opens onto further gardens with a pool, petanque pitch (shared with 35 our other house)and beyond we see the vineyards and sometimes Mont Blanc. Meursault is the largest village in the area and is well supplied with butcher, baker and supermarket as well as a large range of restaurants and cellar doors. The hills around are lovely for walking or cycling.
