Dark and damp

We take great pride in our home and were sad to see it left in this condition, which is a rare exception to the respectful care and high standards our guests normally show. The dampness noted in this review was entirely self inflicted by the guests. Despite their complaints, the guests chose to spend the whole week inside the property, during which time they kept all windows closed and ignored the provided dehumidifier. Upon check out we found a note they had written disclosing a major spill. They had left a significant volume of water pooling on the floor, saturating our rug and the floor beneath it. Their actions directly caused a temporary dampness in a Cornwall home that simply requires normal ventilation and basic care. Had they reported the spill when it happened, we could have remedied it instantly. The property was cleaned and dried immediately after they left and it is completely back to its usual pristine standard.

Excellent, exactly as described!

The accommodation was exactly what we wanted. Owners provided a ‘starter pack’ milk, tea, coffee. Nice touches. Owner was attentive, without being intrusive. Just right.Ideal location. A short walk from the middle of St Just, with pubs, hot food vendors and shops. Free parking near by. Short drive to beaches, and Cornwalls rugged coastline. What more could we ask for!
