Check in was through a local provider - we didn’t meet him as he sent someone else and she let us in and then left. We were rather exhausted as the ferry crossing had been extremely chaotic so I got confused with check in instructionsKitchen had everything needed inc dishwasher and washing machine Apartment was very clean and tidy Our teenagers loved the pool and there were lovely views of the mountains at the backFront had a sea view but was on the road so not private so we didn’t really useInstructions for the apartment were on Vrbo but I didn’t see these so would have helpful to have them in folder tooWould have been useful to have had some info re nearby shops, restaurants and activities in the apartment- we sorted these by googling. Apartment situated short walk up hill from the town where most things were. Beach within 20 min walk and main beach was a good 30 mins which would be difficult to manage in the heat, we visited in the evening instead.

Home Away From Home in Bol

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment, enjoying both the private pool along with the easy connectivity to the Bol city center. The well-kept property offerred everything we needed for our trip, and the property owner and local manager were responsive and helpful throughout our time in Bol. We especially enjoyed how close we were to the harbor/town center (five minute walk), and reached the Zlatni Rat beach by tourist train with ease. We brought a vehicle (free parking on site), but never needed it while in Bol.

Fabulous apartment in a great location

We loved this apartment and were sorry to leave. It was so easy to get to - less than 10 mins from the catamaran and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bol. Communication from Jacquie and Martyn was great and check in with Goran was so easy. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.The pool and patio were blissful - we spent most mornings there before heading out to one of the local beaches for the afternoon. Bol is wonderful, full of great restaurants, fabulous beaches and lots of things to do. Jacquie recommended a street festival with live music and food stalls which we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The highlight of the holiday was a boat trip with a company called Afitat, recommended by Goran. We booked a boat for the day with some friends, swam in a hidden cave and some beautiful bays, saw dolphins and had lunch at an incredible restaurant, accessible only by boat, called Vala Hrvaska. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday and this apartment was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Great apartment, lovely location, excellent holiday.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment and would definitely stay again. The apartment is spotless, comfortable,very well equipped feels safe and homely. The pool is lovely and a great option for when the weather gets very hot. Location also excellent, walking distance to shops, supermarkets and the main promenade which is by the sea and a cute harbour area which has a lovely selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours. All in all it had everything we wanted and more.

After a lovely boat ride over from split we arrived in Bol. Beautiful place, so pretty. Taxi’s waiting as soon as you disembark to take us to the apartment…4 mins! Arrived at the apartment and met Goran who showed us round and is a great contact. You must visit fishdelish! The pictures don’t do the apartment justice, it’s a beautiful apartment and it’s a great location. It’s got everything you could possibly need and more. 6 mins maximum walk to seafront and yes there are some steps but they do work off all the amazing food we’d eaten! Lovely walks along the seafront to other beaches. Shops to have a look in whilst meandering along on an evening. Try the wine in winery along the seafront..the Wednesday night summer festivals..so much! We all had a fabulous time and will be returning.

Lovely apartment with fantastic pool

We loved the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped and the pool and patio was great. The location worked well, being a short stroll from the harbour, restaurants and beaches and just a little further along a beautifully shaded path to Zlatni Rat.

Fabulous stay in Bol

We had 6 nights at this lovely apartment . Very well equipped and so comfortable. It was wonderful to have a pool ,especially in the heat of the day and when the beaches were crowded . The owner was extremely helpful before we arrived , with information about ferries , restaurants etc We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bol ! Bol itself is delightful -unspoilt despite the very famous beach -and still has a fishing village feel in the most part -just gorgeous.

Apartment Luna - 9days stay.

We had a beautiful stay in this place.The apartment/the swimming pool are well maintained,a happy place to be. The owners and Goran are just welcoming and too indulgent. We love the garden and the swimming pool are refreshing to swim during the (hot)day or after a walked. The place is accessible to everything. The birthday surprised that you gave to our mother are lovely and unforgetable.Our stay are beyond our expectation. Thank you so much.

Home from home

The apartment is fantastic: clean, spacious and comfortable. It is extremely well equipped with extras such as air con, dishwasher, smart 3D TV, wi-fi, oven, toaster and kettle. The private pool is a great size and we spent much of our time lazing on the sun loungers between swims to cool off. Perfect place to have a sundowner while watching the swallows take dips too! What wasn't in the description was the sea view from the large front balcony! We were surprised to have such a glorious view of the sea and the island of Hvar. Another favourite spot for a sundowner! The location is ideal. Just a short walk down the steps opposite and you are at the harbour with 2 small supermarkets, a bakery, the market and lots of restaurants and bars. The food is great, though it was very busy in August so the service wasn't always the best. We found the best service and steaks to be Pomperella, service was also good in Beer and more. Great Burgers and a cheap meal with a view at Food2go - I couldn't finish it! We had great food everywhere. The fish and squid are so fresh it's amazing! Bol itself is picture postcard perfect. Such a beautiful place. The views are to die for wherever you are. The tables at Stine winery that go directly onto the little beach at the harbour are adorable. The town is small and feels really safe for families. Lots of people and yacht watching can be done at the harbour. Great place to take an evening stroll after all the lovely food and wine. We also loved the beach past the monastery. Great picture opportunities. Zlatni, of course, is a must, with plenty to do there if you desire. Everywhere is busy in August so we chose to head to the beach in the afternoon and stay until 7pm when it was cooler and peaceful as the crowds had gone. Martyn & Jacquie were really communicative and gave us lots of details to make everything easy. They answered any questions we had straight away. Goran, who looks after the apartment, is on site too. He was really friendly and available to offer any local information and would be there to help if you needed anything. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. We recommend Luna apartment without hesitation to everyone.

The apartment is extremely well equipped. Any communications with the owners were prompt and helpful. It’s a short walk into town and I think it’s been mentioned in a previous review that it is quite steep but a longer walk would take you along an easier gradient. I haven’t much more to add other than a top tip- none of the currency exchange bureaus take cards. It’s all cash exchange. There are ATMs though so that’s how we got more money out and most restaurants take card payments. The exchange rate would have been better had we bought out more cash though.

Lovely apartment in beautiful Bol

Luna is a lovely apartment in a good location in a beautiful town. Little bit of a climb up from the town but not too taxing. Pool is great and there aren't many apartments with them especially at this price, so great value for money. Makes a big difference that Martyn and Jacquie stay themselves, as everything you will need is there making it a home from home for the renter. Loved it!

First time in Croatia

Very clean, well set up with it's own pool and views. A quiet restful retreat only minutes from the harbour. It was nice to live without a car and yet be able to see everything in Bol by walking. The short, steep return walk can be easily circumvented by taking a taxi. Loved Bol.

Fantastic apartment in a lovely part of Croatia

The apartment has everything you could wish for sea view, great pool and furnished to a very high standard and immaculate. There are some fantastic restaurants nearby. If you walk down to the lovely harbour you will find more restaurants and bars to try and mix with friendly people from all over the world. The local beaches are lovely and a great chance to mix with the friendly Croatian locals. The boat taxi is a great way to get to Zlatni Rat beach (golden horn) where you can spend a great day relaxing. We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this apartment and area of Croatia to anyone “We will be back”.

Wonderful family holiday in Bol

We had a fantastic stay in Apartment Luna. The apartment was spotless, with all the amenities you may need on a family holiday and more! Our children absolutely loved the pool, as did we! It is perfectly located just a short walk up from the centre of Bol which is a beautiful town with wonderful restaurants and lots of facilities. There was a supermarket close by too. There are a couple of fabulous beaches within walking distance (our favourite was the other side of the monastery), we got the taxi boat a couple of times over to Zlatni Rat too which was lovely but a bit busier. Our children spent most of their time snorkelling in the crystal clear water and we had a really special morning sailing out to a local island. All in all it was an amazing holiday and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Apartment Luna

Excellent, well equipped property and great location

The property was immaculate and well equipped for all our needs. The swimming pool was clean and a real bonus. Great location only 5 min walk from Bol centre. Goran met us at the property on behalf of the owners and was on hand if necessary. He also gave advice on the various trips/activities available and made arrangements. Would definitely return.

Exceptional property in a fabulous location!

We have just returned from a 9 night stay in Jacquie and Martyn's beautiful apartment in Bol. We were met at the harbour by their manager Goran, who very kindly agreed to collect us and our luggage. Goran was particularly helpful and informative and gave us lots of good information on the local area, what to do and where to go. The apartment itself was fantastic and spotlessly clean. There is everything and more that you'll need, to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. What was particularly nice was the creature comforts that exist within the apartment which made it feel very homely. The apartment has a lovely sea view from the front and has picturesque views of the hills to the rear; also, it is literally a 5 minute walk down the hill, into the centre of town. Bol itself is quite lovely; lots of little bars and eateries and a very pretty tree-lined walkway from town across to Zlatni Rat beach. The sea here is crystal clear but was a little cool during our time. We are divers so had wetsuits, consequently we didn't really have a problem with the sea temperature. There is lots to do if you choose to but if you prefer a relaxing chilled out type holiday, it is perfect for that too. We had a superb time here and would definitely return. I wouldn't highly recommend Jacquie and Martyn's apartment - I would specially recommend it!!

Lovely spacious apartment close to amenities and beaches

We loved staying in Apartment Luna. It's very spacious, well decorated and furnished, very clean and has a great outdoor area and pool. The apartment has everything you need and is just a few minutes walk to the marina where you'll find Bol's lovely restaurants and bars. Martyn and Jacqui were really helpful with information prior to our stay and Goran who manages the property locally was really easy and flexible to deal with. We can't recommend it enough!

Home from Home in a lovely location

We booked Martyn and Jacqui's apartment last minute as we had been let down with another property and are so glad things turned out the way they did. The apartment is well furnished and spacious and has everything you could need, we have never stayed at an apartment so well equipped! The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to beaches and the town and a very short drive or land train to Zlatni Rat beach (we paid about £5 per day to park nearby). My husband loved mountain biking around the island. Goran, the apartment manager, was very helpful in providing us with contact details for scuba diving and greeting us on arrival! The pool was lovely and perfect for relaxing! Can certainly recommend, thankyou!

Lovely apartment with private pool

We are just back from staying for 7 days at the apartment. It was spotless and had everything you could need it in. The private pool was a real bonus. The apartment was in a great location for visiting the centre and going for morning and evening walks in the hills. Fell in love with Bol and hope to return again one day.

Great apartment in brilliant location

We had a fabulous stay in this apartment. The location is perfect , being only 5 to 10 mins walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The apartment is beautifully fitted out and has everything you could need. The pool and patio area is very nice , and photos don't do it justice. We would recommend it to anyone and will almost certainly go back. Martyn and Jacquie were also most helpful with information before we left. Thank you!! Ian, Ali and Emma

We first visited Bol in 2005 and fell in love with the place and have been visiting several times a year since. We love the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that the beaches, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. We like to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail whilst looking at the sea or watching the world go by in the sunshine. We also take the opportunity to do some scuba-diving when we are feeling energetic. We sometimes hire a car to explore the natural beauty of the island but often prefer to just relax in Bol where we have several Croatian and English friends.

The apartment offers us the space and facilities to be truly a second home for us. We were able to choose much of the design and decor ourselves and have furnished it as a home rather than a rental property. We love the convenience of being a short walk from the centre of the village and also having our own outdoor space where we can enjoy the warm summer evenings and views to the mountains and out to sea, dolphin watching.

The apartment is ideally located within easy reach of the centre and several beaches a short stroll away.
