The house was very spacious and we enjoyed the pool and spa, once the spa was fixed. The house overall needs some TLC, however the host was very responsive with all the issues that arose.

The home was as advertised very spacious and our kids loved it. Right away we had an issue as I did not receive the QR code to get into the gated community. I tried for over an hour to reach Tony with no response. The phone number listed in VRBO did not work and when I contacted VRBO they also could not connect with him. In addition the management number given for any problems also went straight to voicemail. Tony is located in the UK so the 8 hour difference posed a problem for us. I was worried that I was going to be in a hotel the first night but thankfully the second security guard I encountered was able to help us. So if you do book this home ensure that you do receive the QR code prior for a smooth arrival. The home does have a problem with bugs which should be treated as they got into our cereal and bread bags on the counter. My son stayed in the star wars room where there were multiple bugs around.

The QR code was email sent 2 weeks prior along with the Villa access instructions and the email says that I will send you Villa Access Instructions and a separate QR code, (both were sent and also stated when asked and were probably in the guests junk/spam inbox as a best guess) so why would you wait until you actually arrive at the Resort entrance gate and then think why don't you have it prior and now put in a lower score review that it is somehow my fault when you didn't ask or realise in advance that you didn't have it and the access instructions (they clearly did receive) also state about the QR code, so it couldn't be anymore straight forward and no other guest over the years has had the QR code issue, let alone mentality to then claim it is someones else fault is simply not truthful and all of the phone numbers are accurate and the onsite Management are there to contact during any guest stay as well, also mentioned on the Villa access instructions, to be read prior to arrival. For the Aircon to work the best we advise keeping doors and/or windows closed to help with cooling the home and this also means less chance of insects coming inside the home as well. The home is insect sprayed regularly in line with Florida rental regulations, like all rental homes to help as well. We have just received a 5 out of 5 star review with compliments about the home from the guests who stayed straight after these guests, who had no arrival issues or home issues (just compliments) during their recent stay either, says it all.

the hot tube was not hot we think you change us to 241 instead of 251 for our rented stroller and ordered food when there also one of the upper bed room by the kids room the bed was poorly repaired and the dryer had rust in the lint trap and worked poorly . it was roomy and the extra fridge helped the temp in the game room was too warm

First, the good: the neighborhood and community were nice. The house A/C worked great. The spa/pool temperature was good. The game room was nice (although we did not use it). The couches, sofas and chairs in both downstairs living rooms are brand new, clean and comfortable. The huge TV in the main living room is really nice. Also, when notified of the major issues we encountered (see below) the management company promptly responds and takes action to address them. There were numerous more minor things that, with us being on vacation, we simply did not have time to raise awareness during our 4-night stay. The not-so good:•Bug infestation. Dozens of cockroaches in the kitchen, and tiny ants in a couple of the bathroom sinks. The management company was notified of this and to their credit within a few hours they had people at the house to spray for the cockroaches and ants.•Plumbing. The controls for one of the showers failed and we were unable to shut off the water. Again the management company had someone out within a few hours to replace the cartridge in the shower control valve and then it worked properly. This was in the bathroom connected to the bedroom with the bunk beds.•The mattresses in the bunk beds were old. Like decades old and you feel every spring.•The TV speaker in the TV of the bunk bed room malfunctions (cuts in and out, and crackles)•there are 12 more bullet points but this text box does not allow that many sentences

As mentioned there was a lot of good comments and all of the additional comments upon discovery were dealt with professionally by the Management team (as mentioned) in a positive way, which doesn’t reflect the rating given and guests since then have stayed and not had the issues raised, showing upon being reported we fix them asap for present and future guests benefit.

There were 12 of us that stayed at this property from May 31 - June 7. The house was beautiful and worked very well for our group. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed for the week. The host was very quick to respond to any questions that we had while we were there and we will definitely book this place again. It was close to every park that we went to and within a 1 1/2 hr drive to both coasts. All of our guests were very pleased with this home.

We booked this place based on the size of the home and the fact it had a pool and hot tub. Overall the house was more than adequate to accommodate our families on our trip to universal. There were a few things that needed attention and probably should have jumped on these as soon as we got there but figured we were only there for such a short amount of time like some minor bug issues. They did get taken care of but being it’s Florida, I kind of expected to deal with some issues but wasn’t really expecting it in January/February time frame. So we kept a lot of food items like bread and pastries in the fridge. :(. Owner and management team were responsive with all concerns but it was at the end of our stay. Again, that’s on me as we were there for such a short period of time and our main purpose wasn’t to hang out at this house for the entirety of our stay. It was just a place to come back to to sleep basically. Would have loved to seen bigger coffee cups. Other than that, I thought it was adequate for our stay. I do advise next people coming in to not leave garbage bags on porch. Raccoons are all around and eagerly lie in the shadows waiting to devour! Put trash in the bin on the porch and LATCH THE LATCH!!! we had to clean up the previous people’s garbage when we arrived. :(.

Great Vacay!

The property is really nice, upon arrival we found out the big screen tv was broken, contacted Mr. Tony, the tv was replaced the next day. Only other big issue was a leak that flooded the bottom floor bathroom, and it went into the bedroom and the entryway. Contacted Mr. Tony, who unbeknownst to me was in a 5hr different time zone, he reached out to maintenance, and the issue was fixed the next day. The communication with Mr. Tony was great, he responded right away and again all of the issues were resolved as soon as possible. The home is beautiful with plenty of space for a large group. The location is great! Would definitely stay again!!

The owner is absolutely fantastic with his communication! There are some upgrades still being done to the property and it will make it better. I did email the owner regarding some smaller issues and he was very receptive to fixing.

We searched and searched for the perfect villa and eventually found this one. I spoke to Tony who was so helpful which made up our mind to book. Before arrival everything was sent through and all ran smoothly! We arrived late at night and the villa looked amazing. The rooms were huge and had everything we needed. The two sitting rooms were perfect. The boys would watch the sport in the front cinema room while we could sit in the main room with the kitchen and pool there too. Kitchen had everything and more. We had a few issues with the pool spa, furniture and fridge and some of the games in the games room didn’t have equipment BUT I know this is because Tony has only just taken over the villa and this is all on his to do list! The location is amazing - right next to the Walmart!!We had the most perfect holiday

Really enjoyed our stay. Had some issues, most of which were resolved. Could have used more towels and forks. Paid for pool heat for the week, but heat was intermittent. One of the bathrooms had no hot water. Overall, were pleased with the house.

This house is not luxury as the title suggests. It’s adequate and in some cases inadequate. There were not enough towels provided for everyone to shower and use the pool. We tried to wash towels and the dryer broke. We all drip dried until the issue was resolved. There were not enough eating utensils for the number of beds. Most of the hair dryers were broken and one of the showers did not work well enough to rinse soap from hair. The soap provided was cheap motel type soap. We were given two trash bags that didn’t fit the containers. Our stay was 11-14 people for 1.5 weeks. The parking was not sufficient to hold the number of vehicles for the number of people staying. The HOA has strict parking rules and we spent a lot of time juggling cars so people could get out of their vehicle or get back to the house. We paid extra to heat the pool. It didn’t work correctly for the first portion of our stay. They were very responsive and did fix it — the entire unit had to be replaced. Our biggest frustration was that it was apparent there was very little care in making sure the house was ready for my large family. It wasn’t sufficiently cleaned. We were barely given towels, soap, trashbags or toilet paper for the stay. Overall the owner and head of maintenance were very responsive and kind (thus my rating of 3) but I don’t feel like we should have had to spend our week waiting for things be fixed or dealing with what we dealt with. Nothing was luxury, as stated.

Any issues reported were dealt with and rectified straight away, dryer fixed, additional towels provided (even though there were more in the cupboard that the guests didn't see) and the installing of a new expensive Pool heater that same day, which is not the norm, as it normally takes a few days to do so, shows how efficient the Management team were and even increased the Pool and Spa heating daily hours as a good will gesture as well, shows we do take any reported issues professionally (as mentioned by the guest) and fixed or repaired asap, it is a heavily occupied and very popular rental home on the gated Resort. The toiletry / kitchen / washing products provided at the start of each and every guest Villa stay are just to start you off (not last the duration of a long stay) until you have gone to the Super Walmart and purchased what you require for the duration of your stay, including food, drink, etc.. Some strange comments as it is not normal behaviour to bring so many cars to one home as the Villa driveway is big enough to park 4 cars and there is also additional parking by the Resort Clubhouse if required, which should be more than enough, as well.

Nasty House 241 Las Fuentes Bellavida

To start the whole trip I booked the wrong dates.. I have yet to be refunded for the insurance I paid for the week we were not going.When we arrived the house has not been vacuumed, the trash in the bench is stinking filthy,the carpet needs replacing, the bed linens had a foul odor. The host (Tony Whitmore) was no help, no apology, just blamed it all on the management (Gus) of the house and that he was thousands of miles away.Needless to say we were glad to be in Bellavida again but nothing like our past rentals there.Respectfully, shuler

The comments in this review are not accurate at all. Firstly if you book the wrong Insurance dates then Vrbo will refund anything due back to you within their timeline, so why that would be mentioned as part of a home review is irrelevant. The home was thoroughly cleaned like it has been for all other guests so far. When a minor issue is reported it is naturally reported directly to the onsite Property management to deal with, (as per the details sent on the access instructions to do so) which he did, (i also did as well when contacted, but mentioned i do live thousands of miles away and that is their role to do so) and they are onsite, so why that would be seem as no help, is a strange comment to make. So far all of our guests have scored us 5 out of 5 prior and after this guest stay, (praising my assistance if required) which shows this is a one off, one sided review and not consistent compared to all of our other guest stays so far.

Lipstick on a Pig

This house looks ok on the surface but it is dirty, poorly maintained/rundown and services are not provided as expected. Anthony is not interested in providing you with a great, hassle free stay. He will answer your emails but resolving matters is your responsibility. Paid extra for spa heat - this was not provided. Asked for my money back instead of spending my vacation emailing and calling to get it addressed but this was refused. Spa never did reach the stated temperature as per write up but also seems to not work either and is dirty. Shower drains are clogged, only tried the TV outside - did not work, issue with ice maker, swayback mattress. There were crumbs on the tables and nightstands, mold in the shower, patio slider/ windows dirty, fingernails and wrappers on the floor, carpet is very dirty. Very disappointed as house and property did not meet expectations as per write up or pictures. Would not recommend or return. I wish I would have known that I could have added photos to this review as I definitely would have posted pictures of the shower mold. There is nothing luxurious about this place.

Spacious and clean but multiple small issues

We recently had the opportunity to stay here. We arrived to 7 bags of garbage on the front porch and a house that was not ready when expected. The manager was not responsive and this is very unfortunate for the owners. After we were able to enter the house we tried to open the door to exit and the entire door handle fell off. The next day the manager reached out to let us know someone would be there to fix the door, did not address the concern of the garbage or other problems reported such as multiple outlets not working, closet doors not hung, and although somewhat unimportant when dealing with other issues not having any batteries in the remote control in any room was also frustrating. Little things that can make a difference and make the stay go from just okay to great with the help of a good management team. We have not had issues such as this that were unaddressed with any other properties we have stayed at in the past. We were charged for pool heat that was either not turned on or did not work and since none of the other concerns were acknowledged I didn’t waste any more time reaching out and we just made due with what we had for the week. Again, beautiful home and sad that it is not cared for to the level of care you would expect. The home was close to parks, die to traffic took about 30-40 min so a bit loger than what was listed but likely due to traffic. Home was spacious and clean.
