A lovely property in a great location

We had two weeks here in May/June. This is a lovely, well equipped property right on the beach, on a quiet bay. The owners and the local cleaner were very helpful - accommodating changes to check in times and offering a maid service twice a week. We managed without a car for most of the stay and there’s plenty of great sights and beaches within walking distance (30-60 minutes). This is a great time of year to visit as well - the weather was great, and not too hot, and there were very few people around. Patmos is a lovely island and this is a great property to stay in. Thank you Dimitra!

Schönes, wohltuendes ambiente

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Haus hat uns mit seiner speziellen Einrichtung git gefallen. Die Nähe zu Meer war toll. Trotz des starken Windes waren wir jeden Morgen im Meer baden. Auch die Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt und war sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.

Maravillosa casa junto al mar! Dimitra muy amable y en todo momento pendiente de nosotros

La casa es preciosa, situada en una pequeña cala muy tranquila con arena. La casa es muy cómoda y con todas las facilidades para pasar días de descanso, lectura, playa y sol. Un lugar perfecto para descubrir desde alli la isla. Dimitra fue muy atenta y nos dió información muy util de lugares de interés y recomendaciones. Absolutamente recomendable !!!

Perfect

The house was beautiful - wonderfully decorated, updated, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning cooled the house well (but we didn’t need it very often as the breeze blew in from the ocean). The host left supplies for breakfast for our first morning with eggs, bread, butter, water and snacks. Excellent communication from host. She arranged for a taxi pickup from the ferry dock when we landed. The house is just a few steps away from the ocean. Being in a protected bay, the waves were small and perfect for swimming. It was a perfect holiday and we will be back!

Amazing place

Heaven on earth!

This place is a real gem! You get addicted to it. For the third consecutive year, we have been renting this unique small villa on the beach and every time, the charm, the private beach, the tasty style and the wonderful Dimitra host make us determined to return!

A taste of paradise...

Nothing compares to this lovely house, a mix of traditional Greek Dodecanese architecture and trendy interior. More than comfortable, practical and so welcoming...a quasi "private" beach less than 5 minutes drive from Skala. Perfect customer service and excellent advices from Dimitra caring and welcoming (bottle of white wine in the fridge + basics for a first breakfast).

gorgeous!

The house was super pretty, clean, functional and serene. The bed was comfortable and there was a cleaning service every other day, with new towels etc. the fridge and pantry was fully stocked with the essentials and we were greeted by the owner's brother-in-law, three family members own houses right next to each other so we are trying to get our extended family to go back for a group rental. Dimitra was exceedingly helpful with all questions i had, even down to a local manicure joint. Patmos in general is a flippin amazeballs island. Accessible in size, easy to navigate, sweet people and yummy food. And amazing waters, hikes and beaches. Dimitra included a local written guide that was extensive and very helpful! Cant recommend this place enough!

Amazing place to stay

My family and I had a wonderful time in this lovely house. The big terrace outside in front of the sea is just a dream! Sapsila bay with its clear water and sandy beach it's such a quiet and cosy place to be where we met mainly people from Patmos. We recommend it to everyone!

Outstanding property and location!

We booked this amazing and elegant two floor stone house at Sapsila beach with 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary supplies (even welcome wines) and a spacious veranda viewing this lovely and practically private beach within walking distance - perfect for a morning or even night swim!!! The house was very clean with a daily cleaning service, located in a very peaceful and convenient spot - a top notch, tastefully decorated paying attention to the minimum detail, really comfortable and cozy not just great for couples but also perfect for families as well! Dimitra, the owner, was extremely helpful and very kind, providing us with all the useful information. Dimitra, thank you very much for making our holidays extraordinary and carefree! I would highly recommend a stay here, definitely value for money while we're looking forward to visiting you again!

wonderful relaxing family holiday

we had a fantastic time with our 8 month old baby staying at sapsila stone house. the view was amazing, we enjoyed every evening dining outside with a view on the nice garden, full of herbs and plants, and the calm sea which had a private beach for us aswell. we specially liked the very aesthetic and tasteful furnishing. thank you dimitra for being reachable and helpful all time during our stay, we would love to come back and recommended your place already to our friends.

So far so good!

Note: I have just booked and paid my deposit at this property but have not stayed there yet. Thus far all my interactions with Dimitra have been great. She's been very quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and a real joy to be in contact with. I can't wait for my stay in her beautiful house and will, of course, write a full review afterwards. Oh, and whilst i have used Airbnb and many other services to book holiday rentals in the past, this is the first time I use HomeAway. So far so good!
