Charming ,Traditional Country Farmhouse with swimming pool, 26 miles Puy Du Fou

‘Les Saisons’ is a beautiful rustic farmhouse nestled in the heart of the French countryside, set in the beautiful and peaceful rolling countryside of ‘Deux-Sèvres’
Surrounded by quiet off-road walking trails and the ‘Voie verte’ for cycling and walking , the property is perfect for families or couples alike . A perfect base to stay put and enjoy relaxing by the private enclosed swimming pool, (open June to September) dining alfresco and exploring the local villages and towns or central to travel a little further afield in every direction to explore the many attractions the region has to offer. The immediate surroundings are tranquil but within easy access of all local shops, restaurants and amenities .

The house can comfortably sleep 6 people plus 1 baby with three bedrooms, and two bathrooms . Two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the ground floor

Terves village is around 1 km away and has a bar /cafe/ restaurant which sells bread and local produce, there is also a pharmacy and hair salon.

Bressuire is our largest local town, which is around a 20-30 minute cycle ride along the ‘Voie Verte’( 5 miles) or a 5 minute drive and boasts a Medieval Chateau which is free to visit. Riverside walks and a handful of relaxed local bars and restaurants continue the laid-back feel. A high street full of independent shops as well as three large supermarkets and all other amenities means you have everything that you could possibly need close at hand .

The’ Grand Prix Historique de Bressuire’ is hosted by the town each year which sees vintage cars and motorcycles take over the town for the last weekend in June, racing around the centre streets.
The Chateau holds many events throughout the year including the ‘Highland Games’ every other year in June.

Les Saisons is situated 26 miles from the world famous ‘Puy Du Fou ‘Theme Park ,which is set within a 500 acre site and is a must see spectacular for all the family with special effects, amazing shows and breathtaking stunts.

With in a 10 minute drive of Les Saisons is Europe’s premier fishing lake ‘Pescalis’ , with free entry to enjoy a picturesque 2 mile walk around the beautiful grounds ( dog friendly)and a lovely bar and restaurant for lunch or refreshments , a souvenir and fishing equipment shop.

‘Bocaspeed Kart Racing’ is two minutes by car from Pescalis and has a superb large outdoor track and new high speed Karts.

The stunning and elegant coastal port of La Rochelle is just over an hours drive away, with it’s long harbour walks , great for seafood lovers with its abundance of restaurants.

The Loire Valley, with beautiful villages, sprawling vineyards, wine tasting caves and colourful markets is within a 30 minute drive. Be sure to visit Saumur with its imposing fairytale castle, a plethora of wine tasting caves and the famous ‘Cadre Noir de Saumur’ , the French Military Riding Academy of Equitation.
