Masseria Pichilicchio 3 by Wonderful Italy
Cozy and bright studio apartment inside Masseria Pichilicchio, a few kilometers from the Marina of Ostuni.
The apartment is on the ground floor, with direct access via a private patio with deck chairs and umbrella. The entrance opens onto the living area where there is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining table and a single sofa bed. A large closet divides this area from the sleeping area, furnished with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with shower.
The property is surrounded by countryside where you can walk and relax.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Bari-Karol Wojtyla International Airport is a 30-minute drive, while Bari Airport is 95 km away.
