This high-ceiling three bedroom, two bath penthouse condo commands unobstructed Pacific views. Watch the waves roll in from your private balcony! Luxury and convenience describe this recently refurbished condo located in the Sunrise gated community. This is the best location in Tamarindo and you are walking distance to restaurants, shopping, medical services and more, so a car is not necessary!



This exclusive 1800 SF condo offers balconies in every direction: the master patio with extensive ocean views, plus balconies overlooking Tamarindo and the mountains behind. It offers central air conditioning plus an additional A/C unit in the master bedroom for maximum comfort. The master features a king-size bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress with private bath. There is also a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and two twin beds in the third bedroom. This home sleeps up to 8 people between the beds and the sleeper sofa in the living room.



The large, gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cookware, granite countertops, wood cabinets, appliances and washer/dryer. Free Wi-Fi, Cable TV propane grill, and 24-hour security included in the rate. Daily maid service available for an additional fee. All linens are provided. Large televisions in living room and master bedroom. Large, resort style pool with cascading waterfall and plenty of space to relax. Maid service is not included but can be added for an additional fee.



As a guest of this property, we also include a complimentary welcome basket with coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and shampoo/soaps. The condo is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler and more!!!



In order to maintain the security that everyone deserves, it is necessary to present the identification of the person who made the reservation at the time of check-in. We greatly appreciate your support.



We are here to help with your tour reservations, fishing charters, rental car reservations and offer private transport to and from the Liberia and San Jose International Airports for an additional fee. If you see that the dates you would like are booked, please contact us. We manage several properties in the area and may be able to find you that perfect vacation rental. Please let us know how we may be of assistance!

We loved the property. Great location. Quick walk across the street to the beach and beach access. The condo was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, and the fridge having water and ice. Super convenient! Easy check in and check out. Wi-fi worked well. Quick tips: the building is hard to see from the road and there isn't any signs. Turn when the GPS says to turn. There are outdoor showers and feet washing facilities on the back of the stone waterfall on the roadside. We didn't find it until our last day.

Exceeds expectations!

This is indeed an amazing property! The view is just as pictured and you get to the beach in a couple of minutes. It’s very quiet and the way it’s set up, it feels quite secluded. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted, with many staples present as well, which was greatly appreciated! We were able to cook good meals for the 6 of us. There are numerous restaurants very close by as well as small supermarkets. To do serious grocery shopping you do need to drive or get an Uber to one of the bigger stores, which we did. Our group of six, grandparents, parents and teen boys loved our stay here. We feel very fortunate that we were able to book and stay here. The communication before and during was good as well. Thank you for everything!!

Location, location, location

Wonderful location directly across the street from the beach. The unit is fully equipped with tubes, towels, and beach chairs. Kitchen was also well stocked with dishes, glassware, cooking utensils.

this place is so lovely. we were on the top floor and had a view of the pool and ocean. the pictures on line are 100% accurate. location to beach and restaurants and bars was great. we ran out of toilet paper was the only complaint. 2 rolls for 6 people= trouble

Very nice place and great location

Overall the place is very nice. You can’t beat the location, walkable to all the core places in tamarindo. The view is amazing. It is a rental property so quite a bit of wear and tear but the furniture is nice and kitchen has all you would need. The full laundry was a definite plus! The people at the complex were very nice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because there were some struggles with communication with the property management company. I was delayed in getting to CR so some friends arrived first. Apparently the cleaning solution used is quite strong and one of the guests is very sensitive to smell. Because it was after 5pm local it was after hours for the PM. The emergency contact numbers did not work, either no answer or just connected and then hung up. It took quite a bit of follow up the next day to get a hold of anyone, which included my friend seeking out the office in town and going there. A second issue happened when after a monsoonal rain it was discovered the sliding door in one of the rooms leaked heavily. No answer from emergency contact numbers and it again took a lot of follow up on our side the next morning, through messages, etc. to get connected. Once connected the PM took care of everything right away and was very accomodating. My only suggestion is having dedicated after hours support. Properties are not 8-5pm situations. Whether with family or friends, this is a great property,

Believe the hype!

Wow…believe all the 5 star reviews this place exceeded all expectations. The apartment was more spacious than we anticipated and loved the high ceilings. The unit is in great shape and was spotless upon check in. The view from the balcony did not disappoint, I could stare out there all day. It was nice having a pool on location to cool off and within walking distance to everything. The restaurants were all fantastic and loved having the grocery so close by. We even had a visit from some howler monkey’s and got to watch one eat a mango from the tree on the property. The communication with the property manger was excellent and very prompt with any requests. Awesome place!

Nice place and good location but

The location and property were as described and were great for our family. Unfortunately the safe was broken and we could not use it even after being given access to the key. Our biggest issue is we were charged for a chip out of a table that we didnt do. If you stay here, make sure you inspect all the furniture and take pictures of everything to protect yourself.

Nice condo

The day we arrived the condo was pretty hot. I suspect this is an isolated incident as the power to the complex was out that afternoon. We struggled with a language barrier with security when we checked in and were initially turned away. Other than those two small issues the place was great. Clean, safe, comfortable, great location.

Place was clean, located across the street from public beach access. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck watching the ocean. Places to eat all within walking distance.

Great location and Amenities

We travelled with our youngest daughter and her family and the condo, amenities and location met all of our needs. It was very comfortable, the kids loved the pool in the morning and the beach in the afternoon. There were plenty of beach towels and even beach chairs provided. Blue zone management was great to deal with and arranged transportation to and from our next two locations in Costa Rica. We were well cared for by our driver Edgar who made us feel safe and comfortable and shared information about the beautiful country of his origin. Thank you!!!

A+, Great Host, Very Clean apartment, Great Location...

Very easy process to get in and out. The apartment was super clean. I love the fact that the host anticipates the needs of the visitors. From flashlights, to beach chairs, to beach umbrellas, to speakers, to beach towels, basic stuff to get you started such as soap, condiments, etc. The apartment is central to some of the most beautiful beaches (miles wise), I spent time in Conchal, Flamingo, Las Catalinas etc. I only hated the elevator but in reality I liked using the stairs. We had a group of 8 ppl and everyone was very comfortable. Walking distance to Tamarindo beach, good restaurants and local shops.

Better than pictures, Wonderful stay!

This property exceeded our expectations! It is incredibly spacious, very clean, & ideally located in Tamarindo. It is close to shops & restaurants, but you can also hear waves crash at night…not to mention gorgeous sunsets. Air conditioning & WiFi we’re top notch (we were working part of the time) and kitchen is roomy & well stocked. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend to others. We stayed 2.5 weeks and the property managers were also excellent/responsive to questions & any needs.

Spacious, amazing view, and great location

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tamarindo. The house was well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and easy walk to the beach and restaurants. We had a car but didn’t need it at all during our stay. Definitely recommend!

Great location and accommodations. Well stocked kitchen and baths. We used the balcony and grill a lot. We loved being so close to the beach and the center of town.
