Gorgeous condo with breathtaking views of the ocean. Condo was clean and a well stocked kitchen. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Location was very well situated to pools, beach, plenty of restaurants and stores including grocery stores- all within walking distance. Chad and Leslie were very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend and would rent from them again.

OMG! I can't say enough about this condo. Perfect location! Close to everything, fantastic pool, beach is across the street, most of all Leslie was amazing! She helped us with every aspect of our vacation that extended well beyond just renting the condo. She assisted us with amazing excursions and was always available for any questions. Good communication from hosts. Condo was somewhat run down, could use cosmetic attention. Also had several bugs, which may just be expected for CR.

As for insects, Costa Rica is a tropical environment and even with regular pest control and cleaning, occasional bugs can appear, especially if doors or windows are left open. Location, location, location

Great property in the heart of Tamarindo with an incredible pool complex and a 3 min walk across the street to the beach. Easy walk to Waffle Monkey, numerous beachfront restaurants, Jardin Tamarindo Food Truck Mercantile, catamaran sunset excursions and surf lessons.

Room with a view

Our stay at the Diria condo was nothing short of delightful. The view from the 5th floor patio was so picturesque - exactly how one would think a tropical beach getaway in Costs Rica should be. The place is walking distance to the heart of Tamarindo - close to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and the best part- a wonderful swimming beach. The ocean view and view of the lovely pool area made for a peaceful retreat. It is clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Excellent accommodations for two couples, each with our own bathroom. We definitely would book here again!

We had a great week staying at this property. Close to all the restaurants and the beach. 2 negatives however-second bedroom really needs a closet and management needs to stay on top of all the other guests who go out at 6 am and reserve the chaise lounges by the pool and under the palapas. its very annoying when people do this at 6 am and never show up until after lunch!

Great location - condo needs a few more amenities

We enjoyed our stay in Diria 504. Great central location and good walkability. We stayed in the second bedroom which did not have a closet or area to hang clothes. Sunset view from back hall not front porch. If you rent this unit, they do have beach towels so save the space in your luggage for kitchen basics like a cutting board, garbage bags and some laundry detergent. Also WIFI does not work in the second bedroom.

Diria in Tamarindo

Great location in the heart of Tamarindo. Access to the most amazing pool in Tamarindo. Short walk across the street to the beach and surf.. This unit has great views and lots of space for our 2 kids and us. Nicely equipped kitchen with everything you need. beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. The owners/ property managers were always on top of everything and communication was amazing. We had a door handle break during our trip and it was fixed within the day. Great place to stay. The only downside, I'd say is the master bath is probably getting close for a remodel. It's a bit worn and the shower could be difficult to access for people with limited mobility because of the high step. Other then that we would stay here again!!!!! Beautiful ocean views and an excellent Tamarindo condo!

The Diria condo is located right in the middle of town, allowing you to walk to the beach and all local shops/restaurants. During our week long stay we'd highly recommend the restaurants Dragonfly, La Baula Pizza, as well as Green Papaya. We enjoyed eating breakfast each morning on the patio while soaking in the ocean view. The condo was very well equipped and suited our family of 4 excellently. Access to beach towels and a washer/dryer were very nice. After playing at the beach during the day, the huge family pool and swim up bar was a great way too cool down. The people of Costa Rica are very friendly and helpful. Most speak English fluently and the American dollar/credit cards are accepted pretty much everywhere. Juan from Matos Surf Shop was an excellent surf teacher and prices were less than booking through the hotel. We greatly enjoyed our catamaran/snorkeling and Diamanté Eco Park/zip line experiences booked through 1st Choice Reality. We were hesitant to drive in a foreign country, but were so glad we chose to do so. The main roads are well maintained and Google Maps was very helpful. The Diria condos are gated and security is provided through the resort including the parking lots. We felt safe throughout our stay. It's recommended that you not take valuable to the beach and leave unattended. You can rent beach chairs and an umbrella for $5 each for the day. Definitely worth every cent! Pack lots of sunscreen, as it's very expensive ($20+) in the local stores. Other items I'd take next time include: travel-size container of laundry detergent, dryer sheets, soap and shampoo for 2 bathrooms, and ground coffee. The only addition I can recommend being added to the condo is a cutting board. It truly had everything we needed and a cleaning was provided mid-week. We had an excellent experience!!! Pura vida!

The resort itself was wonderful and excellent amenities. The condo was nice, good layout, and incredible views. However, the condo is in need of repairs (tile replacements, new paint, dryer vent not connected, bathroom accessories, etc.). We would have given 3-4 star rating on the condo alone.***very important to know, they do not provide toiletries for shower or hand soap for bathrooms so bring sure to bring your own or purchase upon arrival.

Great family stay

A spacious condo with plenty of room for a family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed, the balcony was amazing for coffee in the mornings, and the laundry was such a nice amenity. The pool was absolutely perfect and never got boring for our two young (11 and 8) boys. The swim up bar was so great and the staff were amazing. Walking distance to everything we needed. The owner was easy to work with and very communicative. Pleasant experience and looking forward to coming back!

Excellent property, amenities and location!

Communication with the property owner was simple and effective. The property is an ideal location and accessible to the beach and many shops and restaurants. The condo itself is very spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean. The pools and grounds are well-maintained and lots of fun for families and adults. Swim up bar is great! Looking forward to coming back to this condo some day in the future.

Awesome place

We have stayed on this property a few times and is our go to place in Tamarindo. Great place, nice pool, secure, easy in/easy out if you are driving. Beach is just across the street w/ access through Hotel Diria's lobby. Even though Tamarindo is a busy, busy place you feel like you are remote once inside the property at the pool.

Awesome location and amenities!

Great Location

This property is in a great location with access to all of Tamarindo. You not only have access to the giant pool in the condos but each of the other two pools as well and the hotel restaurant which has the best sunsets on the planet. I will stay here again.

Great ocean views

From the balcony cook on the grill while enjoying a great ocean view. Netflix was an excellent new amenity. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and several grocery stores.

A Perfect family vacation

Our family of 6 stayed 4 nights in Tamarindo at Chad’s place. Our kids are 16-22, and we were very comfortable in the condo. It is a beautiful place with an amazing view. Communication was great, the property manager set us up with a ride from the airport and assisted with car rental for when we left for our next destination The beach is a short walk across the street, and the pool is in a perfect location to stop along the walk. My son is a surfer, he had no problem renting a board and we were lucky enough to find a surf instructor Jorge on the beach the first day. He took my son and I to some other local surf beaches and gave us a very local, amazing experience. We rode horses at sunset, went to the rainforest and relaxed on the beach. Costa Rica is definitely my favorite vacation place as it has something for everyone. We hope to come back and stay in Chad’s condo again. Thank you!

Pura Vida

This was a perfect location for our family vacation. The condo was great and the views terrific!! The resort property was fantastic and had good access to the beach. It’s located in the heart of the town but the property provides great privacy and security. We loved it and would definitely recommend this condo.

Great Location and views

Great location at the Diria. Right in the middle of town. Great views to the mountains and Pacific. Condo was well furnished and kitchen had everything you would need. Only thing needed was more hand towels and washcloths. Very clean. Grounds were awesome. Security was great.

Excellent location in Diria Resort

Great location. Resort pool is huge. Five to ten minute walk to beach, grocery store, and lots of restaurants. 5th floor condo has grill on deck with ocean view. Sunset views from outside condo door. Nicely furnished with lots of amenities. Beds were comfortable and kitchen appliances like new.
