Beautiful villa in the mountains

We were two families comprising 4 adults and 5 children. The villa was just perfect for our holiday and had everything we needed. It was in a peaceful location with amazing views of the sea and mountains, yet still only 15 minutes from the town and beaches. The pool area is fantastic and kept the kids busy all week. Highly recommended!

The house, views, garden and pool areas were very nice however it wasn’t at all clear that the roads to this property are not for the faint hearted. You can’t walk from the property, the roads are too dangerous and the drive to the property is quite scary and the final drive has to be done in first gear. The bin situation is also difficult and because of small pipes you can’t put toilet paper down the toilet! The electricity usage must be paid in cash at the end of your stay and just for information we stayed two weeks and the charge was 185! It’s the going rate apparently price per kW but I’d rather it be added to the price of the villa rather than an extra charge at the end. During our two week stay the towels and sheets were not refreshed. I thought that was unusual.

Family holiday

Absolutely gorgeous villa for group of two families used upstairs and downstairs plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children one being a teenager ,everything you needed was there ,easy to get to from airport ,easy to get to other places ,lovely and quiet ,beautiful pool with lovely surroundings can not fault the property at all we all enjoyed it immensely,one thing was not prepared for was the cost of electricity knew we had to pay for it but thought it was rather expensive,but it is read as you check in and again when you check out ,still a really lovely villa though absolutely 5 stars

Wonderful spacious Villa, I would recommend this.

The villa is beautiful, spacious and well appointed. The living area is large, with open plan kitchen which is lovely. The outside sitting area is spacious and shaded with great views. There are beautiful gardens with plants and palm trees. The pool is large and views from the pool area over the coast are lovely. You can sit out at night and see the coast and sea. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and spacious, four bathrooms, shaded car parking and local supermarkets. The owners met us and showed us around, and were in touch during the week to check everything was ok. I would recommend this for any family group.

Belle demeure sur les hauteurs de Sayalonga

Très belle propriété, un peu difficile d'accès avec une très belle vue sur la mer Méditerranée. La maison permet d'avoir des logements indépendants, les chambres sont très confortables. Très bon accueil. Prévoir un budget pour l'électricité d'environ 200€ la semaine sans abuser sur la climatisation.

Super séjour

Grande villa sur les hauteurs de la Côte méditerranéenne, cette villa est parfaite pour accueillir 2 familles, chacun son espace. Accès un peu escarpé, mais vite oublié par un confort et une vue magnifique et dépaysante. Très bon contact avec chaques personnes s'occupant de la villa, surtout le jardiner qui est très sympathique et de très bons conseils. Très bon restaurant aux alentours, surtout "Mesón Morisco" dans le village. Très bon séjour à renouveller.

Fantastic Villa in a fantastic setting

I love a villa in a scenic setting with great views. This has always been a priority for me. I think I can say that Villa La Higuera surpassed my expectation in this respect. It has stunning views of both mountains and sea with many different terraces to enjoy the views from. The villa is fairly high up a hillside, but the road is accessible and not a difficult drive. It is not so high that the temperature drops though, in fact we found it a couple degrees warmer at the villa than at sea level. The villa has 2 discrete living areas, ideal for 2 families which we were. But we only used the bedrooms from the slightly smaller living area and enjoyed the kitchen and al fresco dining of the larger living area. Our party consisted of four adults and two kids so that arrangement worked well. That said, the smaller living area had more than adequate kitchen / lounge / dining facilities if 2 parties wanted some separate occasional downtime . The pool is larger than most and is fenced and gated making it very secure as well as endless fun for the kids (aged 6 and 2) in our group In addition, our hosts, Jacob and Ingrid were friendly and hospitable arranging a cot and highchair for the kids. All in all, a perfect stay. Thank you Jacob and Ingrid

Muy buena estancia. La casa es muy grande y con dos partes separadas que facilitan la intimidad al ir con la familia. La piscina es espectacular y los anfitriones muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Totalmente recomendable.

El alojamiento es cómodo, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones de una casa en el campo y con un difícil acceso. Solo tiene aire acondicionado en 2 habitaciones y en las horas centrales del día el salón o las otras 2 habitaciones no se podía estar por el calor. Además las 2 habitaciones sin aire no tenían una buena ventilación. Los propietarios amables y atentos.

Perfect location for a complete break.

The property is really a home away from home. Lots of space inside and out to congregate or find some peace and quiet. Jacob and Ingrid were the perfect hosts, providing some welcome supplies and great information on what was in the area. The location is stunning and photos can never do the views justice. Only 10 mins from the beach, but going up into the hills is better! Would thoroughly recommend the property for a relaxing location to get away from it all, and we would definitely stay again.

Das war wirklich Urlaub

Nach dem herzlichen Empfang durch Ingrid und Jacob haben wir das geräumige Haus, den wunderschönen Ausblick von der Terrasse und den schönen großen Pool genossen. Das Haus liegt am Hang mit Blick auf das Meer. Durch die mehreren Terrassen gibt es immer eine Sonnen- oder Schattenseite. Das Haus war schön eingerichtet und der Garten mit Palmen, Hibiskus und Obstbäumen gepflegt. Sayalonga ist ideal gelegen, um Andalusien zu erkunden, wie Granada, Cordoba, Malaga oder Ronda. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Prachtige vakantie in een schitterend verblijf

Een prachtige villa met zeer begane en warme eigenaars die u onmiddellijk een vakantiegevoel geven om U tegen te zeggen. De woning bied alle comfort die je nodig hebt, met terrassen voor ieder moment van de dag. De uitzichten zijn adembenemend. De streek is héél leuk en gezellig voor jong en oud, je kan er fietsen wandelen en lekker eten in de nabije omgeving. Prachtige villa met mooi uitzicht

Wij hebben met 3 stellen in de mooie Villa La Higuera in Sayalonga vakantie gehouden voor 1 week. We hebben genoten van het uitzicht, het zwembad, de terrassen rond het huis en de omgeving van Malaga. De villa was goed ingericht, 4 slaapkamers met ieder een eigen badkamer. 2 keukens met alle benodigde apparatuur. De vriendelijke eigenaren Jacob en Ingrid staan direct voor je klaar en geven je het gevoel in “eigen huis” op vakantie te zijn. Echt een aanrader voor wie graag vrij wil zitten, in de buurt van Malaga en de hoogtepunten van Andalusië wil zien, zoals het Alhambra in Granada.

Nous étions sept au total quatre adultes deux ados et un enfant de cinq ans nous avions de l’espace pour ne pas être l’un sur les autres la maison est très bien conçus chaque chambre possédait sa propre salle de bain avec WC .la cuisine principale est très bien agencée et il y avait tout il ne manquait rien la vaisselle propre et abondante. L’agréable piscine avec transats parasol serviette et surtout une vue magnifique sur la baie d’un côté et la montagne de l’autre coté Le soleil était au rendez-vous nous sommes totalement satisfait de notre séjour à LA VILLA HIGUERA

Superschöne Villa mit traumhaftem Blick

Wir waren für 14 Tage im Mai in diesem sehr schönen Haus, dass Dank der sehr guten Anfahrtsbeschreibung der Besitzer auch bestens zu erreichen war. (Der Weg ist eine Teerstrasse, die mit unserem grossen Privatwagen ohne Probleme zu befahren war.) Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und toll ausgestattet, mit allem was das Herz begehrt (sehr gute Küchenausstattung, moderner Fernseher mit allen Kanälen, gute Musikanlage usw....). Alle Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und harmonisch eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem mit guten Matratzen. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet genügend Freiraum. Es gibt 2 Wohneinheiten, ideal für Urlaub mit 2 Familien. Rund um das Haus gibt es gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, haben wir als Lieblingsterrasse die Terrasse unterhalb des Pools gewählt. Dort kann man sowohl in der Sonne, als auch im Schatten sitzen und wundervolle Ausblicke über die Berge und das Meer genießen. Der Garten ist mit viel Liebe sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt. Der Pool war für Mai angenehm warm (25 Grad), super gepflegt und ausreichend groß. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und der Erholungseffekt trat schon nach kurzer Zeit ein. Auffallend war die absolute Ruhe, so etwas haben wir gesucht und in dieser Villa gefunden. Der herzliche Empfang und die gute Betreuung durch die Besitzer vor Ort sind weitere Pluspunkte und in dieser Qualität keineswegs selbstverständlich. Vielen Dank, dass wir einen tollen Urlaub in La Higuera verbringen durften, wir kommen gerne wieder.

The ideal villa for a great holiday!

The place really has all we could ask for. The views are lovely, both to the sea and the surrounding mountains. The gardens and terraces all around the house are beautifully planted and decorated and give you lots of space to enjoy the views, in the sun or shade. The large pool was clean and the water nice and warm. The villa is only 10-15 minutes from the coast with nice beaches, restaurants and large supermarkets, and the pretty villages nearby provide good bars and restaurants. The house itself is very spacious, modern and homely. The beds were very comfortable, and the large kitchen is well equipped. The owners have really thought of everything to make our holiday a wonderful time. Truly a 5 star villa! We’ll come back.

A splendid week in heavenly .La Higuera

All the arrangements made before our arrival were timely and informative. It was a dramatic drive to the top of the hill to La Higuera villa and what a breathtaking view it was. The place has two separate apartments and both are spacious, private, beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. There are so many places to sit and admire the various breathtaking vistas from the villa. One can disappear to sit under a shade to read and feel very private or socialize with others at the large table and gaze at the sea in the distance. The pool temperature was delightfully warm for April. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Best of all were our hosts Jakob and his wife who made us feel very at home and welcome in their beautiful home.

The entrance to the villa is almost 500 meters from the main road up. This is a good concrete road and any type of car can be used.

Top Villa with wonderfull vieuws

The best villa we have ever rented in Spain. The owners are very helpfull and kind. The villa is situeted on top of a hill with really unbelievable vieuws towards the sea and the mountains. We have stayed here 4 weeks and almost every evening we enjouyed a spectacular sunset. The pictures tell to less of the house. It is nicer. The kitchen has every thing one can wish an the working service is large. The bathrooms are large an confenient. The auping beds sleep very well. We had friends to visit us and because the house is divided in two units, we still had a lot of privacy Just 6 kilometers from the house you will find a 2 large supermarkets with fresh fish The food is very good and (compared to dutch prices) very affordable. Once we entered the gates of the villa, we had the idea, we were in paradise. The beautifull trees,the flowers, nice terrasses. Just superb. The first two weeks, we still had warm weather, about 25 till 30 degrees an we still could use the big pool!!! The house is situated not far away from the highlights of andalucia. All in reach of 1 to 1 and a half our drive. We wish, we still were there.
