Family trip

We stayed 2 nights. Convenient location as we were meeting up with folks in Bathgate but also sightseeing in Edinburgh.

The property was not overall bad, that being said I do have some gripes with it. I don’t normally like giving many negative points if I can help it but being that I also depend on these reviews to choose places to stay I feel obligated. The main issues for me were the bathroom, I understand there are different bathrooms that North America and I’ve experienced better and worse in Scotland but this one has a tub that was not able to keep up drainage while showering, likely an easy fix of snaking hair and things out of the drain but standing in 3 inches of water during a shower is not ideal. There was also a screw exposed in the tile that seemed to possibly be for a door stop that was no longer there which was just a it dangerous when walking around in bare feet especially with kids. Again easy fix but I wanted to note. The neighborhood is very nice and quite friendly as well but unfortunately quite loud with traffic flying by at what seemed like all hours of the night. Overall the property was clean and I did love the backyard and location but there are a couple things that should likely be addressed before considering booking there.

Nice apartament

We was enjoy to stay at Bathgate near bus stop every 30 min.can catch bus to Edynburg. Only what can be sortem that missing seal under glass doors on the bath Poor WIFI speed maybe changefor different mobale Supply

overall satisfactory. Some tweeks would take it up a few notches tho.

Overall property was good. Any concerns we had were prompty answered. Some improvements could add to experience. Internet upgrade, more content on the TV would be nice. Paper products were very scant or non existence, Also bathtub is a safety issue. No handrails nor slip proof mat makes it unsafe for some.

Nice but needs to be more than a ‘show home’

This house served our purpose whilst visiting our daughter who lives nearby. It was largely clean and comfortable. We’d suggest some improvements to make it better e.g. for the property manager to consider how the house might be lived in as well as staging it for good photos- the supply of a kitchen sink plug or washing up bowl to help with washing up; the supply of dishwashing tablets and better quality cutlery and more things in the kitchen eg oven trays. I’d also suggest adding external photos to the listing so people not familiar with the area know more about the property and area they are potentially booking.
