This was the worst communicaltions before cost us 70 of phone calls to get a confirmation. Upon arrival the entrance was a construction site. in order to get to the floor where the apartment was we had to climb a laddder. We could not get the thermostat working, even with the instructions above it. The fuse box was inspected and everything was in working order. The heating is crucial during winter months!The stairs were also a bit steep to be moving luggage up and down, and the construction in the outdoor foyer/patio was a bit dangerous with gaps and uneven surfaces. To be fair, they did show pictures in the listing to make guests aware, but the pictures don’t do the conditions justice. All in all, the apartment was clean and in good condition. You can tell they service it well and take pride in this listing.

Because of the good reviews and the photos in the listing I selected this property, when many other properties were far better, price and location wise. The condition has changed greatly since the pictures were taken and totally unrepresentative of the actual condition. Entry way unsafe, stains, scuffs, dents, and damaged walls, blinds, couch etc. I'll let the photos that I took during my stay speak for themselves. A real disappointment

We are delighted with our decision, Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm, but we found out a few hours before that the place wouldn't be available until 4pm, It was a bit frustrating considering we had informed the host weeks ago about our international flight, arriving at 11am, Nonetheless, I would recommend staying here! Photos in listing didn’t represent property. Appeared to be a deluxe experience and instead found it full of stains to curtains and drapes, damaged and scuffed walls. A real disappointment for a very expensive stay. I already sent a complaint through VRBO website and am requesting compensation

Good location if you want bars and nightlife—but this is a party area, not suitable for families. It feels rough and unsafe, especially at night.The apartment is spacious, but that’s where the positives end. It wasn’t clean (dirty couch and pillows, dust under beds, carpet needs cleaning). The AC didn’t work, hot water is very limited, and water pressure is poor.It’s extremely loud—noise from the street and people above all night, so don’t expect to sleep well.The stairs were under construction and replaced with steep metal ones that felt unsafe and were very difficult with luggage.Overall, not worth the price and wouldn’t recommend—especially for families.The property manager would not contact us over vrbo. We still had not received any info on how to get in to the property when we landed in Paris. We were thinking we were going to have to book a last minute hotel. I had to call the property manager direct to get this info once we landed. We had no wifi password for the first day and again had to call to get this.

The stairs to the apartment have broken and temporary flimsy stairs have been installed. It was a struggle to go up to the apartment with the suitcases. And the temporary metal stairs are fully exposed to rain, and when it was rainy, it was very very slippery and I slipped down a few stairs and injured my back (may need to get a medical scan done when I am back in US ). The stairs shown in photos is NOT the same as the dangerous stairs that actually exist. Attached is the photo of the stairs now.But, this is totally unacceptable and a very unsafe place. Also:1. When other building occupants climb up the stairs (in the middle of the night), there is loud thudding sound from the stairs shaking and its very very disturbing2. There is construction going on in the building and there is loud drilling and hammering sound starting early in the morning and going in throughout the day.Would never recommend this place to anyone till the stairs are fixed and construction is complete. Very unsafe. This apartment should be delisted till the stairs are fixed.

Lovely apartment that looks just like the pictures but the quality of the amenities fell short for us: The glass door of bedroom 1 wouldn't close, hooks in the bathroom were ripped out, kitchen supplies were very basic: we couldn't find a sponge for washing dishes, only 4 wine glasses even though the apartment accommodates 6 people, a leaking coffee maker, and a damp bay window, The location was perfect for our girls' trip but might be a bit confusing for a family due to the historic street's presence of 'working girls' and potential noise at night, Note for late risers: I missed the early 10 am check-out time which was a bit too early for a Sunday, and we couldn't extend our stay by an hour or two, The host is quick to respond to requests and questions via messages,

Ich wohnte in dieser schönen 48 m² großen Wohnung in Bonne-Nouvelle und war angenehm überrascht, wie geräumig sie sich anfühlte. Das Erkerfenster ließ so viel natürliches Licht herein, dass das Wohnzimmer ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen war. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, und ich liebte es, eine Kaffeemaschine zu haben, um meine Morgen richtig zu beginnen!
