A handsome cabin home set in the private corner of a cottage garden on the southern edge of this quiet hamlet at the foot of White Horse Hill. Recently constructed to a high standard, well insulated, double glazed and tasteful - it enjoys its own patio with al fresco dining area next to a field, looking south to the Downs. There is a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle etc, TV, broadband, Netflix and more. A delightful rural setting at the end of a no through road, perfect countryside for walking and cycling and within easy reach of The Cotswolds, Oxford and more.

Super cute cottage with lovely, friendly hosts! Great pub down the road, the cottage was very clean and we felt very taken care of. Also a great hike up the hill at the White Horse

Beautiful cabin in lovely surroundings. Close to nice pub and lots of walks from your door.The hosts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome.We look forward to staying again soon.

Very cosy with everything provided. It was nice to have real coffee available to make. The bottle of wine was an added bonus. This provides for a very comfortable stay.

The cottage was perfect. Very nicely appointed and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and made excellent recommendations for pubs, walks and restaurants. The access to the Ridgeway is stellar and the countryside beautiful. There is a horse in the paddock next door and it is so nice to watch. Would love to come back.

Beautiful setting and stay

The cottage and setting were perfect. It had everything we needed with several added pluses such as heated towels, coffee beans and grinder, a very comfortable bed and local WiFi. Claire and her husband communicated throughout the process ensuring we didn’t get lost. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

A quiet and relaxing cottage away from the city’s

The hostess with the mostest. Our host went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. We could see straight away how much thought and passion went into making this little cottage just right for her visitors. It was beautiful inside and out. But, I feel it is only suitable for 1or 2 adults walkers or guests who want to get away. Too remote for us. Thank you.

This place is lovely, and the host is wonderful! Charming doesn't begin to describe it! Everything in the cottage is as described/shown. One extra bit of information (even though it is not directly shown in the photos) there is a small refridgerator in the kitchen area and it works very well. Setting the water temperature in the shower is a little tricky, but once you set it and forget it you'll be fine. Spotlessly clean. Private. Comfortable bed and chairs. Tranquil, beautiful views out your window. Good TV (which we barely used). Microwave. Plenty of items/utensils for kitchen use. Well insulated from both weather and sound. Extra touches like provided bottled water, teas, and candy bars in the fridge. Yes, it is rural, but if you want to get "away", you cannot go wrong with this rental. We would have stayed twice as long if we had the option. Claire, the host, went above and beyond to help us find her location, gave us suggestions on places we might visit, food, etc and overall is just a supremely lovely person. We cannot wait to return. Do not hesitate to book!
