The Nook door is always open please come and stay in our luxury Cotswold Annexe. Are you looking to enjoy a break in the Cotswolds or do you need to stay somewhere homely for work? So much is on offer in the area, please see below for all the details.

Our annex is totally self contained with it's own entrance leading into the light and airy main living area where you will find the sumptuous king size bed and small sofa where you can sit and relax, a full size fridge with freezer box and a cute breakfast bar for two. You will find a compact and bijou country kitchenette with large sink, microwave, toaster, kettle with tea and Nespresso coffee machine . The ensuite bathroom has a super modern shower that you can bluetooth your music to whilst the colour changing lights add to the ambiance, oh, it will spray you with water as well.!
The room has been fitted with white wooden shutters for your privacy which adds a little chic touch as we designed the room to bring the boutique hotel feel to Minster Lovell.

The property has its own parking right outside and is accessed via a wooden gate along a cobbled path.

Minster Lovell is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from Burford, Blenhiem Palace, Caswell House (gorgeous wedding venue) and only 20 minutes from the centre of Oxford. We are conveniently situated for visiting the famous Bibury and Bourton on the Water ( quintessential Cotswold villages) . We are only 40 minutes from Cheltenham, ideal for the races. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Daylesford are accessible easily from here. If you fancy some retail therapy Bicester designer outlet shopping village is a wonderful day out. There is a public bus stop immediately outside the house and the nearest railway station is Charlbury which is only a 15 minute drive. And of course the latest edition to our area The Farmers Dog (Jeremy Clarksons pub)- a six minute drive away ! Downton Abbey was partly filmed in beautiful Bampton which is just down the road . It’s a wonderful central location for exploring the Cotswolds! We’dlove you to come and stay , Vikki & Simon

A more than lovely place to stay

Everything was perfect - the bed was very comfortable, beautiful decor, beautiful garden, Vikki and Simon were exceptionally helpful. The wine and birthday cake was a lovely surprise.

A small but perfectly formed space!

We stayed for 4 nights. The bed sitter was perfect for us and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The whole place was very well designed and equipped and beautifully clean.The host was lovely - kind, friendly and helpful.

Fabulous Property!

We have just returned from a lovely two night stay at The Nook. The property is beautifully furnished and Vicki makes you feel properly spoilt with a bottle of wine and home made cake. It's a great location for exploring and we had a lovely meal at the local pub. Would thoroughly recommend!

Great modern and cozy love nest!

Very welcoming host. Wine and Chocs on arrival! Perfect for our weekend away. Close to some fab cotswold villages. The lamb pub a taxi ride away served great food. Vikki our host even dropped us off!

A Welcome Respite

We chose to come here to rest after a trans-Atlantic flight and to get over jet lag before joining friends and family for the holidays. The Nook was the perfect spot for doing that! The host's attention to detail and hospitality is A+. We highly recommend it.

Lovely stay in the cotsworlds

My partner and I had a lovely say at the Nook. The property was lovely and felt really homely. The property had everything needed and Vikki even had homemade scones there for our arrival. The property was clean and tidy and well located, as well as sign posted easily in the welcome directions. Vikki was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay and would love to visit again!

Lovely little getaway spot for Cotswolds

Perfect place to stay

The Nook was absolutely lovely! Spotlessly clean and so well presented. A perfect spot to visit all the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. Vikki was so welcoming and friendly.She made us some delicious Victoria sponge cupcakes. If you want to visit the Cotswolds this is the place to be. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We are a happy family of 3, well 4 if you include the the cat, Lottie or Poopy as all cats have nicknames ...... don't they!!!!! We love our home and have lived here since 2004. I (Vikki) work with the elderly and with children so caring is my passion as well as making people smile. Simon (loves cars) and has worked with Volvo for many years, and then there is Alice our beautiful girl. We will welcome you and hopefully you will feel at home here as much as we do.
