Whole experiencing was amazing and the host was super accommodating. It’s a great place to bring the family-we’ve stayed here for a couple years now and always makes for good memories. Kids loved to fish and you can’t beat those beautiful sunsets! Can’t wait to go back next year!

Nice and Relaxing

We loved the comfort of the house. The screened porch was great for outdoor card games and late nights. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the river. It's a wonderful place to spend a few days.

Oasis of Peace

We visited during Mardi Gras and this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to after the chaos of the city. The commute is longer than I usually like, but it was definitely worth it. The owner is professional and communicative. I would absolutely stay there again!

A Cozy Home for the Holidays!

We've rented this property before, and the feeling was the exact same! The sunsets are unreal! The view is absolutely breathtaking and it never gets old. The property is enjoyable for both young kids and adults; it feels like a secluded island. The house is a comfortable and cozy stay, equipped with everything you need to feel right at home.

Loved it

We swam and fished in the river. Jill was responsive when we had questions. We booked this camp because it suited our needs, but we ended up loving it and changed plans so we could play by the river.

Peaceful river house

We had such a relaxing weekend. The house is equipped with everything you need for a river vacation. We kayaked, fished on the dock, enjoyed beautiful sunsets. It is a quick drive into New Orleans so we spent one day in the city. This is a remote cabin so the nearest real stores/restaurants are in Slidell which is 20 mins away. But the kitchen is great so you can cook anything you want. We will be back again!

The View is worth the clutter

We loved staying here, the view and all the amenities, owners were great to deal with and the location is amazing. Only downside for me was the disorganization of the cabinets, refrigerator and closets. Not horrible but for an OCD person it was challenging. Would totally recommend this property.

Beautiful Respite

We stayed at this property as a launching pad to explore the new orleans area. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. We are a family of 6, there was more than enough space for us, a well appointed kitchen and we loved playing games on the porch!
