The location is unbeatable and the apartment was perfect for our family. We cannot wait to come back to Varenna!

Location was awesome. It is surrounded by active businesses that start early in the mornings. There was a strong odor the day we checked out as if they sprayed for bugs that morning. Noisy but nice.

Varenna Sunset lived up to its name. The view from the balcony is amazing whether first thing the morning or at sunset. It was our favorite place to take in the mountains, lake and daily lake activityProperty is a short walk from Varenna-Esino station. Check in was easy as instructions were clear and concise. There is a small elevator available if needed, but the unit is only one flight up. Property is well appointed and fit our needs perfectly. It is above a boat rental business and restaurant so there may be some noise in the morning. There is a ferry station in front, making travel to Bellagio, Como or other cities easy. You are also a very short, picturesque walk from the waterfront shops and restaurants in Varenna. There is also an alternative route on the main road behind the unit to the upper sections of Varenna, other shops and restaurants. It is just a short climb up some stairs. This is a fabulous location and one we would gladly book again should the opportunity to return to Varenna arise.

It was too awful to even explain in detail. From the pre check-in, to checkout. I will say a VRBO agent tried to help and an agent at Wonderful Italy did stay on the phone with me for 30 minutes to help me find the property which I was sent the wrong directions for. Never ever again!

Amazing apartment overlooking Lake Como at the Ferry Dock. Great location near ferry dock and a couple blocks to the train station. Two balconies facing the lake, and a large patio in the back with view of mountains. The master bedroom is in the back so you don't hear noise from the front where there are lots of people and the ferry dock. Appreciated the washing machine to wash our clothes before moving to our next destination. Liked the location not being in the center of Varenna which was crowded with tourists even in April. Easy walk along Lover's Walkway to the center of town. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
