Checkmyguest offers you a charming 24 m² studio located on the sixth floor in Paris. This accommodation includes an elegant living space, ideal for an individual or a couple looking for a pied-à-terre in the heart of Paris. Located in the prestigious Place-Vendôme district, you will be a few steps from the famous Colonne Vendôme.

The location was exceptional (very central) and the apartment updates and building complex were very nice and secure. However, the managing agency communication and directions to access the apartment were EXTREMELY poor. Check-in directions to the room were unclear (half in English and French), and the worst part was that when I tried to contact my “personal concierge” Edgar, he never responded. I called his number at least 8 times & sent multiple messages; he NEVER answered. I also called the managing company’s number at least 3 times-no one answered. I tried one last time and selected a different option from the menu and finally got someone on the line who walked me through the directions. I should’ve known this would happen considering I contacted the agency a few weeks before my trip to add an extra day to my itinerary, and no one got back to me - I booked a hotel for one night instead. We weren’t the only ones with check-in difficulty. Another couple travelling got lost bc of unclear directions & couldn’t get in touch with anyone either. Luckily my daughter spoke their language and helped them find their apartment. Moral of the story, I would NOT pay for the personal concierge nor book with this company. Finally, we were only given two body towels and one hand towel for a 5 night stay. I’m not sure if this is standard, but at other VRBOs I’ve stayed at, we’re always given multiple sets. Sadly, this experience did not meet my expectations relative to how much I paid for

We had a fantastic time during our visit, The hosts were very quick to respond and offered great assistance when we encountered some heating problems, The accommodation is warm and inviting, We felt very secure thanks to the safety measures in place and the neighborhood, There are plenty of dining options nearby and the major attractions and public transportation are within walking distance, We definitely recommend it :)
