Charming and lively town of Lagos is only 15 mins drive where you can enjoy excellent variety of restaurants, shops, you can visit Marina, cliff walks on the wooden boardwalk leading to Ponto da Piedade or book one of the the fun boat trips along the coast. Golf Resort Parque da Floresta (5 mins drive, fees apply) can offer tennis, bowling, spa and gym, discounted green fees, golf academy, kids club and football academy. Fortaleza is an ideal base for discovering the western coast, visiting the "end of the world - Cape of St. Vicente" with magnificent cliffs or surfing.
