I booked this property through VRBO expecting a relaxing, stress-free family trip, but it turned into a total headache. Leading up to our stay, I reached out to the host multiple times to share my arrival time as I had a long flight and was travelling with young children. Despite agreeing upon a time, the host was unavailable to check us in when we arrived. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours on the street before gaining access to the property, which was incredibly inconvenient. The listing states that you can drop off your luggage if the apartment is not yet ready, but that was not the case. However, the biggest issue was that the listing states it is furnished with two king beds. The pictures also suggest that it is a king-sized bed. Unfortunately, it was not a king, and I brought this up to the person who checked me in. They mentioned they would alert management, but nothing was done. Worst of all, I realized they had put two twin mattresses together and covered them with a fitted sheet. This made for an extremely uncomfortable sleeping situation for five straight nights. I never received a response from the host and have asked for VRBO customer support to deal with this matter. This is a dishonest and misleading listing, and it is extremely unprofessional of the host to not acknowledge the issue. I am hoping VRBO customer support can rectify this situation and ensure such problems do not occur for future guests.
