Great stay near Butternut!

We were taking our first family ski trip and were lucky to stay at this great house which is only 10 minutes from Butternut. Super convenient, very comfortable and the huge kitchen was a perfect place for our family to gather after a day on the slopes. We loved it and would happily return next year!

Perfect stay!

We loved Manor Lane! It had every amenity you could ask for. The house is fun and charming and there are thoughtful touches everywhere you look! We had fun watching movies in the living room, playing games in the lounge, cooking family meals in the spectacular kitchen and playing tennis in the sunshine. A perfect 10!

Perfect Spot for a Gathering of Family & Friends!

This property is a perfect place to gather family or friends. Its beautifully appointed bedrooms and study gave individual family members space for privacy and one-on-one conversations, and its three large and elegant spaces--living room, dining room, and kitchen/family room--allowed all of us to gather for games, conversations, and meals. Because we stayed Christmas week we couldn't take advantage of the property's gorgeous outdoor spaces, but Lauren provided us with a decorated Christmas tree and festive Christmas decorations in multiple rooms. She was also very responsive throughout our stay. We highly recommend Manor Lane!

Just what the doctor ordered :)

We were in much need of a brief getaway and a few days at Manor Lane was just what the doctor ordered ! We really enjoyed this beautiful property with our family. The interior is exquisitely decorated and was spotless when we arrived. We enjoyed baking and making some delicious meals in the gorgeous kitchen which was so comfortable and functional. The grounds are lovely and the weather was good enough to enjoy a few rounds of tennis. We highly recommend Manor Lane as a relaxing and beautiful vacation site in the Berkshires we hope to return again soon!

Lovely in every way

Stunning property! Each room had a unique personality. We could envision what ppl would be doing in each room back in the day. Men smoking cigars and drinking bourbon in the parlor with the leather sofas and the Gauguin lounge. The ladies gathering in the lovely living room with the fireplace and chandelier. Lots of space but honestly we hung out in the enormous sunny kitchen. I was envisioning a small summer wedding in the yard with a big white tent. I look forward to visiting again in the warmer months!

Our Favorite GB rental!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home and we loved it even more the second time! The home is clean and the setting is private and peaceful. The pool was open this time and we had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors of this property this trip. Thank you again to the property manager and the owners who are extremely responsive and lovely to work with. We enjoyed this home with family and our teenage son and daughter. Easily entertains...the kitchen is a dream, and the convenience to both downtown Great Barrington and The Berkshire School allowed for us to easily get everywhere within minutes. Three bedrooms upstairs and one on the main level (which was ideal for my mom) offered us the perfect layout. This house was the perfect fit for us for Graduation week. Loved it and so glad we found it! Would book every time we visit.

Absolutely Lovely

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We would highly recommend your home to anyone looking for a family home, beautifully appointed. Seeing as there is a tennis court I asked if we could send a basketball net for the kids and they not only accommodated but had it put together upon arrival. It was fantastic service! Our family tends to hang in the kitchen and it was truly delightful. The owner’s stylish taste and thoughtfulness was especially appreciated here. It’s not only spacious but appliances were high end and the light in the morning was warm and inviting. Location is about 5 min to Great Barrington and 10 min to Berkshire School so in terms of distance and convenience to both areas it suited us well. We have already booked again and look forward to it!

Wonderful stay at this property!! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool and grounds. We did have an issue with the fire pit however the house manager responded very quickly. The problem was solved and the equipment was in working order the same day. The location was close to town and two large supermarkets. We hope to return again to this beautiful property! Great place!

House with a lot of possibilities

Over all we had a good time. The kitchen was good. The house has a lot of repairs that needed to be done. Front door and door to out to garage was not secured. The only tv that worked was tv room, would prefer larger TVs. Microwave was broke (turned on to warm muffin and was sparking). One of the gates to the tennis court was broke-falling down, weeds growing at the net. You can tell there has been some updates could use more.

Relaxing week in a beautiful Berkshire home!

Perfect location, right near the center of all great barrington Main Street has to offer and yet secluded feel to the property. We had a great time taking in the sights and relaxing at the house. The different vibes of all the rooms was perfect and our little kids loved exploring all the house and property had to offer. Super accommodating proper manager and home owners! Beautiful home, amazing foliage, stunning property. We will be back!

Great stay at a gorgeous home!

We were thrilled to have stayed at Manor Lane which is even more beautiful than the photos appear. The owner Abigail Henderson is a very successful interior designer in California and all the designs were beautifully executed. She even designed the kitchen addition which is a dream to cook in. Her husband Justin was also so helpful in attending every need. Lauren, the property manager was so responsive and helpful during the whole stay. I cannot recommend this home enough. Perfect for 6 to 8 adults or a family. The area is breathtaking with plenty to do….

Excellent vacation home!

The house and property provided multiple options for gathering together as well as getting some alone time. Home, pool, and yard were super clean, and the location is terrific for accessing Berkshire POI. Highly recommend!

Excellent Retreat!

The Manor Lane home in Great Barrington has to be one of our favorite rental homes we have rented. Just walking into the space, especially the kitchen area starts your vacation off on the right foot. Lauren, the house manager is awesome. We used their recommendations of FireKing BBQ and Chef Emily Paskus and could not have been happier. Book without hesitation!

Beautiful Home, Great location

Our family and friends ranging in age from 17-92 had a great time at Manor Lane. The house is beautiful, especially the well equipped kitchen where we spent most of our time, and was very clean upon arrival. Pool and tennis was great. There are seating areas everywhere, inside and out. There isn’t a house manual to tell you how to handle garbage and things like that but Lauren, the house manager, can tell you everything and is very responsive. The description of bedrooms was a little confusing but they are all stunning. The Master, with the gorgeous bathroom shown in the photos, has what I think is a Queen bed, the bedroom with the fur blanket has a King, then the twin bedded room are upstairs. The other Queen bedroom is downstairs. Would’ve liked a larger television in the den or kitchen so we could’ve watched the Euro Cup all together but not a big deal. Kitchen pantry had oil, a bunch of spices, coffee, tea, sugar etc. And there was a half dozen very fresh eggs and a jar of jam left for us as a welcome! The house is a 5 minute drive from Guido’s and Big Y and downtown Great Barrington (Rubiner’s cheese shop!). We had one issue that was not the owners fault and both Lauren and the owner were in contact and handled the situation quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Wonderful Berkshire Home

Stayed with family and friends (12 adults and 3 young children) for a long overdue vacation in June 2021. House is so roomy, comfortable and private with perfect sized pool off the large kitchen, tennis court and beautiful grounds that invite nature walks, reading and photo ops. Recommended chef provided an incredible garden party for us to celebrate a recent marriage. Hosts and property manager were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you. Can't say enough, highly recommend and would love to come back.

Lovely House

The house is very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the heated pool and the tennis courts even though the weather didn’t cooperate. Lauren, the house manager, was extremely responsive and helpful. We would love to stay at the house again.

We are the Henderson family. Originally from the Berkshires, Manor Lane is my childhood home. My husband and I have recently purchased Manor Lane and have begun the process of restoring this magical Berkshire Estate. We currently reside in Santa Barbara and visit the Berkshires as often as possible. There is no place like home, especially this French Manor Home set in the heart of the Beautiful Berkshire Mountains. We are located only 2.5 miles to the center of Great Barrington. We welcome you to enjoy the charm and mystique that is Manor Lane.

Manor Lane is one of a kind. A French country estate with privacy, private pool and tennis court. We are located only 5 minutes to the town of Great Barrington with great shopping and restaurants. Located only 10 minutes to great skiing at both Butternut and Catamount ski resorts. 25 minutes to Tanglewood. Close to all the Berkshires has to offer, while remaining private and serene.
