Welcome to Buttercup Cottage, our beautiful newly refurbished 2 bedroom Georgian country cottage with a private garden, own parking and EV charger located right in the heart of Chipping Norton. The property is just a short walk to boutique shops, charming cafes and restaurants, antique shops, village cinema and a public lido. Whether you're visiting for a weekend, a business trip or some well-deserved time off, you will create lasting memories in this charming cottage.

A recently renovated and spacious 2-bedroom cottage set over 3 floors, with many original features and also offers access to a private garden terrace to relax and wind down. The cottage is spacious with two living areas, with a convertible sleeping place (sofa bed) in one of the living areas - thus able to accommodate up to 5 people.

Ground - The living room features a wood burning fireplace teamed with an ample cozy seating area and a smart TV linked to high speed Wi-Fi. Next to the living room is the main bathroom with both a bathtub and shower, with views looking towards the countryside and Bliss Mill.

Lower ground - The cottage kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table, dishwasher, Lavazza coffee machine, kettle, toaster, (Rangemaster) and microwave. The cottage benefits with a second living area with two 2-seater sofas with one sofa that can be converted to a small double bed. Behind the kitchen/living area is a utility room which houses a full-size dishwasher, a 8kg washing machine and a separate toilet. The private garden is accessed through the utilities room onto the terrace and patio with views of Bliss Mill.

1st Floor - There are 2 bedrooms with king-sized beds, clothes storage, hangers, room darkening blinds and mirror. Towels and bed linen are all provided.

Parking - If traveling by car, we have one free parking space and EV charger (available at a fee). Please mention on booking if you need parking space/EV charger for your stay.

Location: Situated in the center of Chipping Norton, the gateway to the Cotswolds and just a short walk to the local shops and restaurants. Diddly-Squat Farm shop (Jeremy Clarkson's Farm from Clarkson's Farm TV series) is a 4 minutes' drive or 25 minutes' walk from Buttercup Cottage. Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic are a 10 minutes’ drive away. Blenheim Palace is a 20 minutes’ drive away and the picturesque towns of Burford, Broadway and Stow on the Wold are all less than 20 minutes’ drive away. Walton Hall is 30 minutes’ drive from Buttercup Cottage, while Oxford city is 30–40 minutes’ drive from the property.
